  1. Ok Is Marvin Harrison going into the Hall Of Fame?

Personally I think Yes I think he should be a first ballot. He better his numbers should give him that ticket to first ballot.

Here is his numbers comparied to eligible H.O.F ers:

Games--- Rec ---Yards ---TD ----YPR ----Pro Bowls --All Pro

    190----- 1102 --14580 ---128 ---13.2 ---8 ------------3 -----Harrison

    234------1101 --13899 ---130 ---12.6 ---8 ------------2 -----Carter

    255 -----1094 --14934 ---100 ---13.7 ---9 ------------0 -----Brown

    234 -----951 ----13198 ---87 ----13.9 ---7 ------------0------Reed

(LOOK AT THE GAMES PLAYED!!!!) He is 6th ALL-TIME in recieveing yards and he played way less games then every1 else and he is 5th ALL-TIME in touchdowns for WR's

  2. These are notes form the 5th day of practice (padded) and all notes are from stampede blue:

Joseph Addai got a big cheer when he burst through the line on a 20 yard run during one of the drills. Nice to see #29 still in a Colts uniform. Delone Carter was quite impressive in the goal line drills, scoring on the first play bouncing outside, then on the last play he blasted into the line, kept pumping, and scored, even when Larry Coyer was pleading with the referee he was down. Really nice to see. Oh, and Devin Moore is very, very fast. He's going to make the roster.

•The receivers were just as you would expect. Anthony Gonzalez made a nice play on a deep ball from Painter to make a catch on an underthrown ball, and got the Defensive Pass Interference on Jacob Lacey too. None of the young guys really stood out to me.

•The Offensive Line was pretty fluid throughout the entire practice, in that they were flipping units and positions often. It looked like Ben Ijalana was playing mostly at RT, and Anthony Castonzo playing LT. I wouldn't make any guesses as to where guys are going to play for at least 3 weeks or so.

•On the Defensive Line, the clear standout was Rookie Drake Nevis. Several times it looked like he lined up next to the RB, and was ready to destroy someone. Foster also looked pretty good on the goal line. It looked like Freeney and Mathis had a pretty light workout, as they let the other guys get the work.

•The only Linebacker news I have is from Phil B. (see link above), and it's that Kavell Conner injured his finger late in practice. Him, Gary Brackett, and Pat Angerer were the nominal "first team" LBs, with Sims, Wheeler, and Nate Triplett. Saw a nice play again from Rookie Adrian Moten, who had an interception of Painter back on Wednesday night.

•I didn't get to see much of the Defensive backs work, but one play that stood out was near the goal line, Clark ran a little flare route at about the one yard line, and both Jerraud Powers and Angerer read the play perfectly, and had they been going full speed, Powers would have jumped the pass and taken it to the house. Think the 4th and 2 play against New England, but even better defense on it.

Every thing looks and sounds good to me except lacey......lol

  3. Anthony Gonzalez made a beautiful catch over cornerback Jacob Lacey on a 30-yard gain down the right sideline. Quarterback Curtis Painter put the ball in the perfect spot for Gonzalez who made the catch even though Lacey was flagged for interference on the play by the officials who attended the practice.

this guy sucks we need at least a FA corner then we are set for year to start

  4. I think I'm pretty much the only Colts fan here in Dallas.... Anyone one going to the season opener in Houston? If so, tailgating?

if i had the money i would go but also i know im catching the game for sure on tv

  5. Ok In the 2011 NFL Season these are the Milestones that can be hit!!!!!!

If Peyton Manning throws for 172 yards he reaches the 55k(55,000) yard milestone mark(54,828)---3nd all time :number1:

If Peyton Manning throws for 1 touchdown he reaches the 400th touchdown milestone mark(399)---3rd all time :excite:

If Reggie Wayne recieves for 252 yards he reaches the 11k(11,000)recieving yard milestone mark(10,748)---

If Reggie Wayne catches 1 touchdown he reaches the 70th touchdown milestone mark(69)---top 30 all time :jumpy:

If Dwight Freeney gets 6 sacks he reaches the 100th sack milestone mark(94) :rules:

If Robert Mathis gets 6 sacks he reaches the 80th sack milestone mark(74) :shout:

    This Is The NFL Link

I think Peyton Manning can reach them both by week 1

I think Reggie Wayne can reach recieving by week 3-4 and touchdowns by week 1

I think Freeney and Mathis will reach theres both by week 8-9

  6. I love it! I can't remember the last time the Colts had a complete defensive line. I am very happy to see Nevis is progressing nicely. I always had a feeling he would be a valuable pass rushing DT with his first step. I want to see how well he guards against the run. When we first drafted him I was afraid he would get out of position and leave the A gap open for the opposing running back. We will see. keep up the good work Nevis!

    +1

  7. Colts Finally Have their "Warren Sapp" For the Cover 2. His Name's Drake Nevis

Indy fans have been clamoring over the buzz of the recent free agent signings of Tommie Harris and Ernie Sims and with good reason. It's been a while since the front office has made any bold moves in the free agent market.

Yet there is a player who's quietly flown under the radar who may have a bigger impact on the defense than the recent players signed. Ladies and gentlemen allow me to introduce you all to Drake Nevis. Looking at him on film and in practice, Nevis looks a lot like former Buccaneers stand out turned TV analyst Warren Sapp. They both are about the same build (Nevis is 6-1, 294, Sapp was 6-2, 303) and employed the same type of skill set. Sapp was a quick DT who constantly disrupted plays before they could even get started with his quickness and strength off the ball.

Nevis is a lot like that. I've always felt that as good as our two starting DEs are, if the Colts ever gave them some help in the interior of the D-line it would take our defense to a whole nother level. Freeney and Mathis both require two bodies on them 80% of the time from their opponents. Imagine the impact of a 3rd player on that D-line who demands a double team as well. This would be a nightmare for opposing teams cause the thought of leaving Freeney or Mathis one on one with ANY one is a disaster waiting to happen.

I've always felt that our defense was one or two players away from being great and that one player would be a DT.Nevis could very well be the key to catapulting ours to the next level. A level we have yet to see Indy fans.

Keep an eye on the rook as I already feel that he will make the biggest impact on our defense out of all the other additions. The addition of Tommie Harris is just the icing on the cake. There's a lot to like in where we are headed as a defense.

  8. Collie, back on the field for training camp at Anderson University, is trying hard to push such thoughts out of his own brain.

“The more I dwell on it, the more I think about it, the more you guys bring it up, the more it’ll stay there in my mind,” he said. “And that’s the last thing I want when I’m going over the middle again.”

So far, Collie has looked like his old self.

He told Sports Illustrated months ago that he won’t change the way he plays.

And he reportedly has been working with auto racing safety expert Bill Simpson to design a new football helmet.

The helmet Collie has been wearing at Anderson University appears to have more padding in the back, and its shape seems slightly different than a regulation helmet.

In any event, there’s no questioning what a healthy Collie means to the Colts offense.

Even through all of his injuries, he managed to catch 58 passes for 649 yards and eight touchdowns last season.

He said he feels good, but he’s still catching up to speed after an extra long offseason.

And he’s working hard toward that goal every practice.

“It’s been a little frustrating just because you don’t quite have the feel, yet,” he said. “But today was a little bit better, and I just look to improve on each day.”
