Can we just redo his contract? Let’s just sign him to a 15 year contract. I don’t want him ever sniffing free agency.

What does that have to do with the game?
Apparently, it was something to do with screaming bloody murder. She’s still getting used to the fandom. I have to excuse her, though. She was raised a Cowboys fan.

This game scares me, just because of how bad we need it. 10-6 isn’t even a guarantee to get us in the dance, but we just came off a huge win. Gotta keep that 1-0 mindset. I know the phrase “trap game” is a big no-no on this board, but I don’t feel good about this one. I do believe if we beat the Giants, we will beat the Titans, and get in. It’ll be interesting. It has been such a fun season. Can’t wait to see the continued growth.

Would anyone else just love if after the season, BB retires. Flus interviews, accepts, hires a staff (maybe intentionally terrible) then backs out. I’d love that

Let's not forget Eberfus who's orchestrating these kids on how to play his scheme. And of course Ballard for choosing Eberfus!
I think, technically, we can think Josh McDaniels for Eberflus. If I’m not mistaken, he was hired to be part of McDaniels’ staff. Then when he backed out Irsay and Ballard came out and said they would be honoring the contract. We lucked out!

Does anyone seriously consider the cowboys the best team in football? I live in Dallas and even around here I don't think I've ever heard a fan or radio host claim this. Not once.
I live near Rockwall, and it depends. Sometimes 105.3 acts like they are unstoppable, other times it seems like they believe they are horrendous.
That said, its nice to have another Colts fan close by. Perhaps a beer is in order!

Nelson has shown great awareness and athleticism. There was a play against Jax where the right side missed an assignment or something in pass pro. Nelson saw that everything was covered on the left and then went and picked up the rusher on the right, literally outside of Smith. I was in awe.

Here's my stance on it, Jon Gruden is a great offensive minded coach. The year the Bucs won the Super Bowl, their defensive was Monte Kiffin (big on the Cover 2). Kiffin was in Dallas with Eberflus, so I'm sure that he picked up some schemes and tendencies from Kiffin. Carr isn't a bad Qb, not an all-star, but not bad. I think when you combine Gruden's experience involving the Cover 2, the fact that they were coming off a bye, and that we were without Malik Hooker, the outcome could be expected. We won, they just put up a good amount of points. I don't think that means anything less, with the 49ers blowing them out. Its football. Any given Sunday.

Exactly. There was a "Fire Cb/ I'm not impressed" thread around this forum. I wonder if they still feel the same way? Lol
I'll eat crow on this. I wanted Harold Landry. I'm beyond happy with Leonard. Coming out of the draft, he was my least favorite pick. Glad I'm not the GM!

I personally don't remember the last time we were that competitive against N.E. not to mention with so many big injuries. I expected much worse. One of the analysts said we may be the best 1-3 team they've ever seen, so there's that. We just have to find a way to win. That comes with experience.

Must of missed how excited he was to get hit in the preseason. I hope everyone continues giving him, and the team bulletin board material.

Nah, the punt return can be a big play. Let's keep some excitement in the game.
My statement was more sarcasm. Of course, it can be a big play. I just don't want to see injuries or fumbles to key players

Can we just get someone back there who will fair catch everything?

Why was he on the waiver in the first place?
According to Wikipedia, it was a failed physical.

I think our RB's have looked okay. May be in the minority, but without TY tonight, our wide outs looked rough. Gotta help Luck.

Yes, sir, it was.

Well they have never had a decent QB...that looks to change now. So I could see why they would say nice things.
Helps that he played High School ball there, too.

I went to the Texans/Colts Game in Houston back in November of 2013. It was the game where Case Keenum debuted and put the Texans up huge early, only for Luck and Hilton to come back and tear them to shreds. I will say most of the fans were very classy, and complimentary of Luck.

I'm all good for it. Can't beat a team if you aren't touching the QB. Hopefully, they take it personally when someone does sack Luck. Personally, I may wince the first few times he takes a hit, but hopefully with this new line, hits will be few and far between

I can see a scenario where the Jags finish a bit less than expectations. Here and there I keep seeing members of that team speaking out making predictions for themselves(16-0), Ramsey talking as usual, and other stuff which leads me to believe they are smelling themselves. Never seems to go right when you do that.
It feels like a very "Jags" thing to do, too. Get to the AFCCG and then fall right on their faces for no apparent reason. I'd enjoy watching that, though. They haven't made the playoffs in back to back years since the 98 and 99 season.

I'm okay rolling with Mathias Farley. He graded out pretty well with PFF (I believe he was low 80's, but still our 3rd best defensive player.) No need to rush Geathers back in my mind.

I think it'll be somewhere in the 29-34 range, if he stays healthy all season. As others have mentioned, there will be rust, and I expect his touchdown to interception ration to be close to 1:1 for the first quarter of the season.
TY a clown?

I don’t know about it. I’m glad he’s confident, but if things go poorly, he’s a clown for real. I support this team through thick and thin, but he’s gotta ball today.
Commence with the Debbie downer talk now. Sorry, just never think this ends well for the one indulging. The backpack was subtle, the post and mask are over the top.
Just my opinion, of course.
