  1. I don’t know about it. I’m glad he’s confident, but if things go poorly, he’s a clown for real. I support this team through thick and thin, but he’s gotta ball today.

Commence with the Debbie downer talk now. Sorry, just never think this ends well for the one indulging. The backpack was subtle, the post and mask are over the top.

    Just my opinion, of course.

What does that have to do with the game?  :)

Apparently, it was something to do with screaming bloody murder. She’s still getting used to the fandom. I have to excuse her, though. She was raised a Cowboys fan.

  3. This game scares me, just because of how bad we need it. 10-6 isn’t even a guarantee to get us in the dance, but we just came off a huge win. Gotta keep that 1-0 mindset. I know the phrase “trap game” is a big no-no on this board, but I don’t feel good about this one. I do believe if we beat the Giants, we will beat the Titans, and get in. It’ll be interesting. It has been such a fun season. Can’t wait to see the continued growth.

Let's not forget Eberfus who's orchestrating these kids on how to play his scheme. And of course Ballard for choosing Eberfus!

I think, technically, we can think Josh McDaniels for Eberflus. If I’m not mistaken, he was hired to be part of McDaniels’ staff. Then when he backed out Irsay and Ballard came out and said they would be honoring the contract. We lucked out!

Does anyone seriously consider the cowboys the best team in football? I live in Dallas and even around here I don't think I've ever heard a fan or radio host claim this. Not once.

I live near Rockwall, and it depends. Sometimes 105.3 acts like they are unstoppable, other times it seems like they believe they are horrendous.

That said, its nice to have another Colts fan close by. Perhaps a beer is in order!

  6. Nelson has shown great awareness and athleticism. There was a play against Jax where the right side missed an assignment or something in pass pro. Nelson saw that everything was covered on the left and then went and picked up the rusher on the right, literally outside of Smith. I was in awe.

  7. Here's my stance on it,  Jon Gruden is a great offensive minded coach. The year the Bucs won the Super Bowl, their defensive was Monte Kiffin (big on the Cover 2).  Kiffin was in Dallas with Eberflus, so I'm sure that he picked up some schemes and tendencies from Kiffin. Carr isn't a bad Qb, not an all-star, but not bad. I think when you combine Gruden's experience involving the Cover 2, the fact that they were coming off a bye, and that we were without Malik Hooker, the outcome could be expected. We won, they just put up a good amount of points. I don't think that means anything less, with the 49ers blowing them out. Its football. Any given Sunday.

  8. I'm all good for it. Can't beat a team if you aren't touching the QB. Hopefully, they take it personally when someone does sack Luck. Personally, I may wince the first few times he takes a hit, but hopefully with this new line, hits will be few and far between

I can see a scenario where the Jags finish a bit less than expectations.  Here and there I keep seeing members of that team speaking out making predictions for themselves(16-0), Ramsey talking as usual, and other stuff which leads me to believe they are smelling themselves. Never seems to go right when you do that.

It feels like a very "Jags" thing to do, too. Get to the AFCCG and then fall right on their faces for no apparent reason. I'd enjoy watching that, though. They haven't made the playoffs in back to back years since the 98 and 99 season.
