Just a reminder boys and girls there are cameras everywhere. Can't remember the exact training camp (sucks getting old) but we had an incident in a residence hall where the coaches were staying. Someone had driven a Colt intern's golf cart into the building, down a hallway, and scraped and dented the heck out of the drywall. First report was someone, probably a student, was responsible for this according to Colts staff. I was approached by the Dean of Students and the Director of Sports and Rec could I investigate what happened and if indeed a student involved. Ah camera's don't lie or least back then before AI. So watching video there is this very large man in a white tee-shirt and blue shorts propping open the double doors to the hall. Huh next thing you see is this man driving a green golf cart thru the open doors, make a left hand turn, and the way he is driving (hitting both sides of the hall walls) he has to be intoxicated. Or on the worst driving list in the world. Finally parks the cart in front of someone's room, gets off and then walks to a different room. Well the end of this story is the Colts had to pay for damages but I never did hear if the Colts deducted that money from Coach John Teerlink's paycheck. Yep the coach liked to have fun apparently. Actually jacking with the carts seemed to be a favorite with coaches and players.

Unfortunately when you're dealing with pain and the medication isn't cutting it this happens. Of course there is the addiction aspect but it seems many think a person does this because they want to get stoned/high. When dealing with chronic pain there is no weaning off the medication completely.

Was working security for the Colts autograph tent with Dallas Clark and Aaron Moorehead signing that day. They were betting each other on the age and weight of different fans who came up to the table. They would both make their guess and when the person approached they would ask them in a flattering way to give up one or the other. They we're not rude but just sneaky about it. Oh, and the winner was.... Dallas Clark.

Yep, Covid is still making its rounds. Had it back in December and while not as bad the stuff two years ago still no fun for us retired folks.

I would say that is a big possibility but just guessing myself. As noted before I worked Colts security for the ten years they had training camp in Terre Haute. I actually had to escort a lady from the guys buidling they were staying in and this included a player too who was kicked off the team. We're talking two A.M. when his happened. Dungy and Polian were not happy at all and the player and lady friend were turned in by other players. That's the thing I like about Coach Steichen. Looks like he doesn't put up with stuff like Dungy didn't back in the day too.
