Got you. To the first underlined, I am still not sure that they missed on both those defensive players. I want to see what Gus does with them. Second, assuming a TE is not the guy in one year is folly. I don't think they missed, and am patient to see what happens this year. To the second underlined....do you know it was talent....or was it development/scheme?

Just because the fans haven't seen enough of Granson to know he will fill the roll Jack did, does not mean that the team doesn't. Not harping on you, but one of my constant amazements is fans judging development by what they have seen? What if the Colts felt that he was over half way to being a number 2, but didn't want to interrupt Wentz's struggle with consistency to get Kyle more playing time? Maybe they thought that this year would be Jack's last and he would split time with him. I am sure they'll add a less expensive vet and a draftee. But there is no hole IMO. To be clear, he won't be Jack out of the gate, if ever....but hopefully is good enough to be the #2.

I agree with your post except for this. Since 2016/17?, I believe that Yannick has more QB pressures than any edge by 50. If that's not elite, than I am seeing it wrong.

The NFL preseason rankings dropped us from #9....down to #16....because we signed Matt Ryan. I really dislike preseason overhype, and I LOVE preseason "meh". Next year is shaping up nicely.

I love the ignore feature. I actually appreciate dissenting opinions. However, I detest whining. I respect a strong hard opinion even if it is the opposite of my own. When I see that a poster for good or bad uses this forum to always bring the neg? Ignore time. It's a personal choice and I am here to root for my team alongside other hopeful fans. Once every 6 months....I go back through each person on the list and check their recent content. Did that today, and opened my viewing to about a dozen. I also believe sometimes folks change their habits.
