It's a meaningless game, we all know this but it is fun watching us play great and win. This season in a nutshell has been comical in a bad way, we have no business being 6-8, the last 4 weeks have really been surprising.
There is a maxim about statements like "we have no business being 6-8".

If Brady and Belichick return to New England after this season there’s a high probability he ends up there.
Green Bay would also be a good destination for him.
Why do the Patriots end up mentioned in so many threads? Never mind, forget it.

Jacoby is under contract next year. hes not going to say yeah hes getting cut or replaced by a rookie not even on the team yet
I think the Colts can cut Brissett without any dead cap penalty.

"Going into the offeason, we have to proceed as if Andrew is officially retired," owner Jim Irsay told NFL.com recently. "So that's how we operate now".
That's a pretty interesting quote. One thing is certain, if he wants to play, they would welcome him back and Luck would have his job back in a second.
After reading this https://www.indystar.com/story/sports/nfl/colts/2019/12/22/andrew-luck-retirement-colts-owner-jim-irsay-tells-nfl-network-quarterback-isnt-coming-back/2726394001/
do you still feel that way?

He may be here another year with an understudy.
Hahaha. Understudy? You want him to teach a rookie how to suck?

This isn’t the same team as it was last year. With Luck, we had a gunslinger with a lot of talent. With Brissett, we have a game manager who makes smart throws and few mistakes. Trying to go back to a player like Luck, but not the same caliber, is not going to work 90% of the time
Built a team around Plan A, did "OK" with Plan B, but Plan C just plain sucks.

Cut Hoyer right now.

Hoyer improved his QB rating in the 2nd half. Up to 33.2 now.

No, they don't. People can't wrap their heads around this. Tanking does not benefit the people that are on the field. Those people are playing to have jobs next season.....either with the Dolphins or with another NFL team.
Look at the year that the Colts "tanked" for Luck. How many people associated with that team were around to benefit from having Luck the next season? Yeah, it was good for Colts fans that they were the worst team in the NFL and got the #1 pick, but it wasn't good for any of the people (aside from Irsay and maybe Reggie Wayne) associated with that team.
Actually, it was a big disappointment...

Well, that's generally what happens when Plan A and Plan B become unavailable. That is the whole point of having a Plan C.
See, I made my point and you got it.

My lack of faith in Hoyer. I mean is have always thought he was awful
He IS awful. Plan C at best. And here we are, starting "plan C".

Not a 1:05 ET kickoff!

Lol. They played the jets.
These over reactions are kind of funny.
LOL. We lost to a team with a losing record.

No need for AV to kick a game winner next week, Colts will win by 20 over winless Miami....
Win by 20 and break our streak of games decided by 7 or fewer points?

Hoyer for the most part played very well. No center and no TY. We still moved the ball.
Against a team with a losing record, they moved the ball well, but still lost.

They trade him for a 7th round pick that can become a 6th. Sounds like a salary dump of a guy with a bad attitude.
The way I read that is a 7th round pick in 2020 or a 6th rounder in 2021.

I agree, but I think a lot of number 2 WR's are average.
It's impossible for "a lot of number 2 WRs" to be average.

While I do agree with you lets not forget Andrew Luck played with this injury on his throwing shoulder for a solid portion of a season.
Let that be a lesson to any NFL player.

I read that Gronk has banked his NFL salary his entire career. He has lived off of endorsements, personal appearance fees and such. There is no financial reason for him to play again. I would be surprised if he came back. Aside from that, the dude is a shell of his former physique. He must have shed 40 pounds.
Rapport: Colts expected to be in QB Market after talks with irsay

You are correct. I was mistaken, misled by something I read earlier this season.
