Yeah…. The tape doesn’t match the traits. But the traits are off the charts. The Colts will be teaching this kid how to play football. He’s the defensive version of Anthony Richardson — learning on the job.
But he’s got traits you can’t teach. He was predicted to go roughly 35-60. Well worth pick 110, IMO.
be in 2 round high end to 3 rd low . but due to his height he pass over.

I'm sure a few people have already pointed this one out, but Richardson deep balling to Pierce is gonna be fun to watch. Richardson excels at those deep throws and Pierce can locate and high point that bell extremely well. He should only get better at it from his rookie season too.
We need to give Richardson 3 years to progress too before we start to expect toowoomba much from him. Josh Allen and Hurts took that long, and they had at least a season of college ball more than him coming into the league.
Logged 18 completions for 271 yards with a career-long 78-yard touchdown pass vs. No. 1 Georgia (Oct. 29), tying for the 11th-longest pass play since 1996 in program history… Combined for 294 yards (185 passing and 109 rushing) of offense against LSU (Oct. 15) with 15 completions, one passing (51 yards) touchdown and a rushing score of 81 yards, setting the longest by a UF QB and the program’s third-longest TD rush since 1996…

Even Burrow got killed before he became a top 3 QB. We need patience with AR. I expect another top 10 draft pick, but a lot of exciting times on offense.
last 3 draft Florida had zero wr,s drafted they all sucked. they had min 10 to 15 drops a game .
2021 Logged 115 yards and a touchdown on four rushing attempts and completed 3-of-3 passes for a total of 152 yards and two touchdowns against South Florida (Sept. 11)… Recorded 160 rushing yards on seven carries and completed 3-of-8 passes for a total of 40 yards, in addition to scoring his first-career rushing touchdown on a career-best 73-yards run, during Florida’s season opener against Florida Atlantic (Sept. 4) play 8 games that year. as a 2021 (Redshirt Freshman):

Because you can destroy a good young QB by playing them before they are ready. It’s not a secret that Richardson needs development. If he didn’t he would have been the hands down number one pick in this draft because of what he CAN be. However, he’s not that yet. He’s extremely green even by NFL rookie standards. It’s going to take time to develop him to get him ready to start in a NFL game. If you rush him out there before he’s ready you can ruin him before you get a chance to see what he can be.
TRUE , just 20 years old, play 12 college games only

He will almost certainly play early at least in limited packages. He’s intriguing with the mesh with Taylor but he’s strikingly inaccurate. He’s young and will hopefully be like a young erratic pitcher who learns to control his wildness.
he just 20 years old he wait a year.

Well luck was arguably the most NFL ready QB in draft history.
No one thinks that of AR.
But if the o line doesn’t turn it around whatever man takes snaps for the Colts is going to get pummeled again.
true say ar get the bad ol. get hurt like luck

Pass pro is as bad as it was for luck when he came in.
I don’t think they would throw AR to the dogs until they see if it works out.
I wouldn’t be shocked if this bunch got it together but right now it’s uglier than sin and I certainly wouldn’t bet in it.
Luck 2.0?

Hope I am wrong but I am sticking with what I’ve said all along B.U.S.T.
Richardson draft age 20, that alot upside only pay 11 games in college Career
Richardson's completion percentage of 53.8 percent last season ranked 13th out of 14 SEC quarterbacks
. josh was draft at age 21, 4 years of college Allen completed 152 of 270 passes (56.3 percent) for 1,812 yards

I have to admit that I thought the 2nd round went as well as possible for the Colts
Everyone knew they had to get a CB or two this draft. And knew it was a deep draft at CB but some really top-notch guys were falling.
I had a very, very slight preference of Ringo to Brents.....but Brents was always, always, always the more likely Colts player w his traits.
So you put him in a secondary where he can be coached up by Milus and i think its a fantastic pick
To get an additional 4 and 5 just for moving down 9 spots is killer.
I still would like to see another CB and then interior OL and slot WR help.
But we are loaded in mid round picks with (2) 4s and (4) 5s
That is a lot of dart throws for Ballard and team and also those 5s make it easy to move up in the 3rd if someone we have high is lingering.
Happy so far
not happy need RG and OT , WR .
