Drake May - All Day

The team has to provide an offensive playmaker for Richardson. Ballard seems to try and do that a bit later in drafts. NOT THIS TIME.
-
No way Ballard trades back. He’ll get an offensive playmaker at 15.

Listened to the mock draft on “Locked on Colts” - Brian Thomas Jr. was the Colts selection in Round One. Good choice, I think given how the picks in front went. Colts want to be more explosive - he is that. JMO

Late to this thread. I am terrified of heights. Always have been. Odd that I flew helicopters AND was a Master Parachutist in the Army. There were times when I was so exhausted from the tension of doing either that my legs almost didn’t work when I got back on the ground. Now I have vertigo and can’t do squat.

I just too another look. We would HAVE to be in the Cardinals spot. I don’t think he isn’t making it past the Giants.
My thought as well

I found the laugh emoji the mods took from us…

Which teams in the top might be a willing partner for such a move? Cardinals?

I want to face a good team weak 1 because we will lose week 1. Haven’t won that week in years so I’d rather face someone who is actually good instead a bad team and still losing.

That's not answered openly when asked, the understanding is that the other emojis are apparently used to troll users by constantly giving laugh emoji for their comments for example, and some users constantly reported that, made an issue of it. I guess the mods have had enough of bickering from both sides, so removing them probably make their life easy not having to hear about that at all.
Well that stinks. Another example of not being able to have any fun.

I know this probably the wrong place to ask - but what happened to the variety of reactions one could use? I was out of the net for a bit, and likely missed the change.

QB Kellen Mond will not be returning to Colts

...A Vikings third-round pick in 2021, Mond was waived at the start of the regular season in 2022. The Browns claimed him and he spent that season with the club. After Cleveland let him go last August, he eventually signed with Indianapolis’ practice squad...
Oh no…

The DET game is easily one of my favorite all-time Colts memories. I can still see the pass to Avery with no time left. It's burned in my brain.
One of my favorite memories of that game...the image of a beaten Stafford on the sidelines with his chin in his palm and his cap backwards.

This tweet has me thinking colts players are ok with mediocrity because they know Ballard is going to overpay them to keep them here.

I don’t think it’s the actual players they are getting. It’s the fact Ballard doesn’t seem to care enough to try and improve this team.
Probably your most interesting take yet.

They didn’t keep those stats when John Mackey played, but I’d bet on Colts 88! I had his poster on my wall as a kid.
He, like #19, redefined their respective positions in their time. Both were on the SI NFL Team of the first fifty years. The best.

LOL. Everything on the forum is "addressed" to everyone on the forum. I believe, however, there is a private message feature.

If that's the case then Ballard should surround Richardson with multiple offensive weapons like the Titans have done with Levis because they will find out real soon if Will is the man or not. Stroud has options and so does Lawrence. Every year Ballard is waiting according to some on this board to the tune of being under .500 and accomplishing absolutely nothing but I'm starting to see the OVERALL gameplan now.... Plod along for another decade or so and wait for everyone else to decline.
Some laughed at John Lynch when he became a gm around the same time as Ballard but guess what he's ran circles around the "polished" talking Ballard who couldn't even take advantage of a formerly weak AFC south. The Niners haven't won a SB but they've lost two close ones while we continue to wait as Ballard uses the 80's blueprint to build a team which hasn't worked so far after years of wash, rinse, repeat.
Good lord, man.

Have u paid attention in interviews how much they talk about getting explosive. Getting explosive pretty much means we are not currently explosive. I certainly would not rule out drafting somebody to replace Pierce. Some of you are going to find out the Colts actually like some of the guys we have in the secondary. I wouldn't necessarily rule out a corner bc competition is good but we had struggles due to injuries and youth. Not entirely bc they couldn't play. The moves or lack thereof in FA tell me they like who we have for the most part.
How dare you speak logically, sir.

Again that would reflect on Ballard if there was a culture issue with the Colts but I have heard nothing to support there is a problem there, especially with Steichen as HC. And why would someone choose the Titans over the Colts? Titans are a worse team with a worse QB.
Does Indiana tax wages?

Chloe, you need to calm way down. Sneed was definitely an upgrade but there is a lot of time left in FA and some good players out there who can improve the team.
Let’s see how the rest of the FA period plays out before going jihad on Ballard.
We can blame the Colt's GM if we want...but, what if he didn't WANT to come here?

What is Chris Ballard MOST LIKELY to do in the 1st Round of the 2024 NFL Draft?
