  1. Yeah, I watched Levis’ first since it had just been posted. There’s stuff to like but it did reaffirm a lot of my concerns. I’ve only really done some digging within the past week, but I’m definitely leaning toward AR. I’m also a sucker for pocket awareness and elusiveness though.
  2. Was that you who posted those Ringer QB eval videos? If so, thanks. Those were really good…and definitely made me favor AR a bit…if not just for the fact that I wanna see him play. And if he flames out that hard, yeah, hopefully we’d be in position to re-do it next year.
  3. lol at his brother ripping on the Colts QB’s. Then his expression when Michael says he’s played with 3 great QB’s
  4. I’m of a sort of similar opinion. Best way I can put it is, if I was a neutral fan with a good QB, I’d be glad I wasn’t a fan of a QB needy team. I think Levis and AR are much more likely to fail than succeed. That said, I understand we have to take a QB and I’ll root for whoever we grab.
  5. Yeah, thanks for posting that. Always like reading Scouts or GM’s opinions on these guys (even if they’re might be an underlying motive to what they’re saying). But for the most part, these guys all have pros and cons, on and off the field, and in different areas. I don’t envy these QB needy GM’s. I have no idea who I’d pick.
  6. Oh I’m well aware of rookie QB’s turning the ball over. But sometimes QB’s just stay turnover prone, and I could see that with either one.
  7. I honestly think both AR and Levis are gonna be turnover machines for a while. They both have accuracy issues, AR’s being well documented. And with Levis lack of pocket awareness, wouldn’t be surprised to see lots of strip sacks.
  8. I think there was actual evidence from the With the Next Pick series. Lance was labeled as a blue chip prospect on their draft board.
  9. I understand the support for both Levis and AR. I go back and forth really, don’t envy Ballard having to make the decision.
  10. My long shot hope is that Reich is enamored with Levis, so much so that he convinces his staff/FO. Because if there’s one thing I imagine Reich is good at, it’s getting his bosses to believe he can coach up a QB he likes. Actually, I don’t even know why I hope that. I have no idea who I want. Maybe just for the chaos.
  11. Levis’ lack of pocket awareness is definitely my biggest gripe. Having that sixth sense is super important, and seems pretty innate.
  12. Yeah, this is where I’m at. I like our GM, think he’s a little rigid on certain philosophies, but I think we’ve got a good one for the most part. But he’s in a tough position on offense, to have glaring needs at QB, LT, WR, and TE.
  13. Fair point. Didn’t they decide to stop testing for weed? If so, that’s better for him.
  14. I’m not making it out to be bad, it’s just a fact right now. Our WR/TE group is rough. And it’s great that we have JT, but Ballard’s said it again and again we have to get better through the air. And to be in a position that we have to find a QB, a WE, and TE? That’s tough. As for the “this isn’t Madden” stuff. No, I don’t expect a stacked roster. But there’s a lot of room in between stacked roster and having a bottom of the barrel pass catching group. We’ll see where we’re at after the draft though.
  15. iirc Gregory’s is $28 mil guaranteed. So kind of a two year deal which I would’ve been fine with. And the rumor is we were interested in him too.
  16. Tbf, we have easily one of the least talented WR groups right now. At best bottom ten. And very possibly still will once the season starts.
  17. Yeah, I’m not on board with players getting * about trading Wentz… But if I was a player I’d be getting frustrated about Ballard’s lack of activity in the first wave of FA. We’ll get some guys eventually, but most likely only mid level players at best, and then guys like Tevi/Davenport.
