Oh I’m aware, was only being half serious. He’s very much a boom or bust prospect. I didn’t know much about these QB’s even going back to a few weeks ago. And I was immediately very skeptical of Richardson, but I’ve grown to like the idea of what Steichen can do with him. At the very least, it’s not gonna be boring.

I think no matter what happens Ballard’s probably gonna say they got their top choice… To your main point though, that always seemed like the game plan. Or at least since the Panthers jumped to 1.

Pretty much all the big final mock drafts have the same thing happening in the top 4. Texans take Anderson, Titans trade up for Stroud, and Levis for us. Would almost be a letdown if it happens exactly like they all predicted.

I started watching guys’ interviews late, and this was one of the first things I saw from Levis off the field. Got a huge eye roll from me. Not a big deal or anything, but seeing how he played up all his quirks like the mayo/banana peel stuff, seems like he’s pretty focused on his image/brand.

Yeah, this is where I’m at. The potential processing issues/low S2 scores have effectively scared me off of Stroud. Then again, I’ve cooled on AR significantly. And have never been too high on Levis. Oh well, guess I’m gonna have to root for one of ‘em.

Is he probably just liking lots of fans tweets? Hope so, because he’s done a good job at not hinting at who we want. Would be dumb if he decided to tip off any sort of interest on Twitter the Day Of.

My gut feeling says it’s gonna be Levis. We’ll see though, can’t wait to finally find out.

Levis’ floor/ceiling isn’t anywhere close to Luck’s, but there are shades of him there. And Wentz. But some of what he has from Luck isn’t good, plays like a LB, etc. I have no idea who I want at this point. All 3 prospects have some big negatives. But my gut feeling is Levis is the most likely atm. Not because of the rumors or anything…but I could see the “risk” with AR and Stroud’s low S2 scores being too worrisome to bet on from their viewpoint.

Your theory could be true, just like any theory…but I think it’s more likely that we’re playing it coy because we’re at #4. They very well could still be evaluating, but there’s no reason to say we have any one guy higher than the other…because we may end up with any of ‘em

Well, I think that last sentence is kind of contradicting…saying it’s not hard to figure out who we’re gonna pick right after saying “Not saying it will be him” Sounds like Schrags is just receiving educated guesses from people around the league.
