Lovie, from the Dungy coaching tree, understands the value of 3 points. We’re still waiting on Frank’s evolution as a coach and finally understanding that…
-
Even Boomer just called out Frank’s wildcard play call. And they’re super tight from their college days.

The Ghost of Jerry Hughes still haunting this franchise.

That was a weak call.

That was gonna be a big gain. 2 huge mistakes (drop & pick) that have taken potential points off the board. This is how you can end up letting lesser teams hang around. Defense gotta get this right back.
-
That didn’t help…

Matt Ryan is savvy & humble enough to know when to lean on Taylor. We’re gonna be dominant this year once it all clicks.

Frank and Matt gonna heat things up. It’s Texans home opener. Lovie gonna have them competing. We’ll pull away as the game goes on. We’re too talented not to.

Gilmore looking good.

Most people concerned with Reich being the biggest concern this year, that play showed you why.
It’s always been Reich. He’s had some talented rosters.

The rook has some atoning to do. He’ll bounce back.

He’ll look good in Blue and white.
A move like this hinges on us getting a qb like Ryan or Winston on the team first. Same with Armstead if we wanted to go that route at LT. I think Ballard is really working the Ryan deal while praying Jameis doesn’t just re-sign with the Saints in the meantime. Baker is probably the fallback plan.

I'm standing by my belief that Ballard has on the phone with the Raiders since yesterday. They're agreeing on the trade for Carr, just working out the trades and new contract amount.
That has to be why they haven't spent any money yet, right? Seriously Ballard, there is a salary cap floor you know.
Carr is the poster boy for overpaid mediocrity. Cowherd showed where his numbers his first 4 years were worse than Trubisky’s. Trubisky just got 7m per and you want us to pay Carr 30m plus? No thanks. I’d go with Jameis or Mariota and look to draft my QB next year. I’d even rather go with Sam for a year and look to next year’s draft over trading capital and having to overpay Carr.

Exactly, maybe we can get the honey badger at a lower number with similar or better production? We will have to be patient and see though! Having said that I do agree that Williams would be a good get......still, those price tags are just hard to swallow!
Yeah. But that would be a key position filled by a young guy with plenty of prime years left. If we signed Williams (or Mathieu), Armstead, & Winston, we’d be serious contenders for the AFC South crown next year. I’m fine with drafting receivers but I’d fill that LT, FS, & QB spot with those 3 names and go from there.
We could probably get Jameis on a 2 year deal worth 20-25m total. If he falters, he could be our bridge to Stroud, Young, or Haener in next year’s draft. Doesn’t hamstring us with a long, burdensome contract. Plus he’d have familiarity with Armstead. And we’d still have cap room to re-sign our own guys.

Marcus Williams 5/70
Randy Gregory 5/70
That is serious cabbage for those two
Christian Kirk the 3rd highest paid WR
You folks really expect the Colts to just throw away money like that? Gregory is one strike away from being kicked out of the NFL and they gave him that contract? Seriously.
You folks need to look around at this lunacy.....
What’s wrong with that contract for Williams? He’s definitely a top 10 safety and arguably top 5. Definitely top 5 in coverage for FS’s. That contract would’ve been fine. Pair him with Blackmon and our secondary & coverage would’ve been very stout. Hard pass on Kirk and Gregory at those numbers. Maybe we can still get Mathieu at a similar number…
-
Ravens signed Safety Marcus Williams from the Saints. He was one of the top 2 free agents I wanted us to sign. I’m starting to get a little worried. Although, Mathieu would make for a great 2nd option. If we miss out on Armstead though I’m gonna be livid.

Remember the talk of the Jacksonville fans showing up in clown suits? Turns out we were the only clowns that showed up at the stadium.

Ironic that Wentz gets outplayed by a rookie QB with the season on the line….

Wentz gonna use garbage time prevent defense to pad his stats…

Should Marcus Brady be elsewhere next season?
Maybe he can go and overachieve with a team like Sirianni has this season while Frank continues to underachieve with a talented roster?

Would Rivers have won this game?
He would’ve won one of the Titans game and the Raiders game.

what does wentz have 40 yards passing he stinks . its like watching paint dry eagles fleeced ballard hard
Ballard was hand cuffed by Irsay & Frank. You think it was a coincidence that Irsay extended both (basically saddling Ballard with Frank for the long haul). Ballard screwed up the McDaniels hire so he’s at the mercy of Frank. He can’t fire him if he wanted to.
-
Serious question. If Irsay didn’t swoop in and hire Frank, would he be a Head Coach for another team in the NFL? He was on no one’s short list. I just think we’ve gotta change something up. If we keep him, let someone else call plays. Or get him a QB who can basically call his own plays (like Rodgers).
-
Of course we bunch it up and run it up the gut. I’m sick of it. Frank has to go too.
