  1. If you asked me at the end of last season, and after the college playoffs, I would have said I preferred Stroud to any QB in the draft and that'd have been the QB I'd have said we should look for. Then I started watching some tape. I'd already had AR in mind after this game and this particular play. This was comical. This reminded me of when Andrew Luck hit Shareece Rice in his sophomore year. That was my "pay special attention to this guy" moment. For AR, this was it. I am still unsure if i've seen this kind of ability displayed by a QB before. I might be biased. He's in the right hands, as long as he stays humble, i see greatness.
  2. Make of this what you will. *AR5 is the truth
  3. If both players reach their ceiling, I prefer AR by some margin.
  4. This is true. Must be said though that back then, there were many who wished Dungy would be a bit more spicy/dynamic esp. in the playoffs. Ditto 18.
  5. Thoughts on the man, and the job he's done so far. Buying him?
  6. The Colts have the coach to ensure this young man maximizes every ounce of his significant talent. Folks, this is the stuff of dreams. We cannot do anything about health but i think the coach/QB combo is going to do serious damage to this league. AR is too gifted, and this coach is showing too many signs of knowing his $hhh for this not to be good. Yes, there're all the unknowns, and yes we can say it isnt conventional but if Mahomes doing all he's done hasn't been enough to convince us that conventional isnt what it used to be in our day then nothing will. I'm all in on the QB and coach, all in.
  7. Bad ending. Steichen showed some warts. The Steichen/Richardson combo will bring at least a SB to Indy, probably more. That's all. *zebras, yuck
  8. For me, it's also about the things you hear his teammates say about him.
  9. Did the Colts call or is Denver shopping their unwanted goods? I think its the latter
  10. Gotta stay selling The guy had Manning and Luck in his franchise though so I'm not dismissing his words.
  11. Welcome to the club Locked On Colts has to be the best mix of Xs and Os plus insider info. If you have time, Blue Horseshoe with Ryan Hickey and George Bremer can run long but George knows his stuff and has insider access .
  12. If the Colts can move the ball against this defense, Shane Steichen's gonna be winning a SB with AR sooner rather than later, I'll place a bet post-game if they can move the ball. This Cleveland defense is a serious problem, Garrett might be the best defender in the league right now and yes, that includes over Aaron Donald. On the plus side, their offense isn't playing well. If we can keep things close, there's always a chance.
  13. I am scared to admit Irsay's point might be nailed on because if the young man works out, the combination of physical and throwing ability is potentially league altering. Josh Allen with serious wheels is pretty cartoonish. I think the Colts feel they've seen enough to realize what AR could be as they carry him along
  14. https://sports.yahoo.com/as-colts-shut-down-anthony-richardson-for-season-dont-underestimate-lessons-learned-from-andrew-luck-202315037.html
  15. According to Jimmy Irsay, he is. What do you think?
  16. Stroud is playing very well, one of the best QBs in the league period
  17. Good looking out. LOVE Zaire's personality, leading comes easy to him. Love the camaraderie. Easy to see why this defense is playing at the level it is.
  18. Upgrade based on what data? I have never seen anything from either player that screams elite. Both have tools. That's it....tools. Unrealized tools. I aint buying it with the Bronco. Gimme Sutton instead
  19. I hear ya. Still, even in dumpster fires, there're still flashes of elite abilities. Randy Moss in Oakland? Bad but when he showed up, it was clear he was a god amongst men. Flashes. Jeudy's flashes show a guy who could be very good not elite and not godlike, I don't see I with him. Dumpster fire or no
  20. would rather have him than Jeudy. He's at least shown that with good health, he can be a problem in this league. No one is worried about Jeudy, he's not a two Tylenol or an ambien guy (thanks Rick Venturi)
  21. Smith might be a bit annoyed the guy didnt respond to an old head in the way young cats should. Still, that doesnt mean Steve Smith doesnt know what he's talking about....Jeudy has so far been JAG. Period. If Colts fans think Pitt isnt a #1 then i'm not sure in what world Jeudy is. Pittman >>> Jeudy
  22. Exactly. When Diggs went to Buffalo, when AJ went to Philly....in all these moves that helped accelerate the young QBs growth's, the receiver in question was VERY good already and when they moved, they helped the young QB elevate his game, and they elevated their own game from very good to elite. I don't think Judy is very good right now. He's shown flashes but if we're hoping for an elevator then I don't see how he's any better than Pittman or yes, Pierce (considering the opportunity cost). Judy isn't a rare-air player. He was that in college. He's not shown it professionally. Possibly scheme but I dunno....scheme shouldn't hold back a guy that much from showing ELITE possibility, Judy has been merely good.,
