  1. If Tebow lands with the Jets. That is bad news for Mark Sanchez. One bad game and he is yanked for Tebow. Jets have offered a 5th for him.

Uh, yeah. And I'm a lifelong die (painfully) hard Mets fan.

And then there's the Nets drama regarding moving to Brooklyn to compete with the Knicks (but nobody wanting to play for them), and the Devils endless story about usually having a better team than the Rangers playing 20 feet away, but hardly anybody caring. And the Yankees buying championship after championship with the most irritating sense of entitlement imaginable. Sometimes I envy a place like Boston where they just have one team in each sport, and the fans are nuts about all of them.

      BrentMc11

The Nets are a mess too. I love hockey but do not follow...not enough coverage here. I like the Redwings. I used to travel to Detroit all of the time.

  2. Matt Flynn signs with Seahawks. #insideslant

@AustinCollie17: Flynn? I was going on Esidery's post. If he has not HE WILL with the Dolphins.

NOW it's official. Wondering where esidery got his info from. Poor Dolphins.

    4. southwest1

      southwest1

Good decision for Matt Flynn here. Seahawks play in an easier division that the Dolphins do. Playoffs are much simpler to reach in Seattle as well. Head Coach Pete Carrol's job is probably on the line too & he needs to win division titles ASAP.

  3. Been told by someone close to tebow camp, has offers from packers, jets, and jaguars. Bills and patriots are staying away from tebow for now

Tebow should have gone to Green Bay & been tutored under HC Mike McCarthy. It would have been a great NFL environment to perfect & hone his skill set.

    3. BrentMc11

      BrentMc11

Too cold.....NY may be too cold.....Tebow has only played once in temps below freezing....poor lil fella.

    4. southwest1

      southwest1

Yeah, you are probably right. Bone chilling cold Green Bay would not suit him well at all. Frostbite would not be a good new reality for #15. Like that foreign de-icer commercial I sent your earlier. HA! HA!

We are mass producing a nation of journalistic lightweights who have no idea how to carry out real investigative reporting anymore. It's all about fame, money, & personal celebrity status.

"Soon there will not be a newspaper. Out in the country, I cannot get the paper delivered. IndyStar.com is horrible." Man this makes me furious!!! Newspapers were the lifeblood of this American Republic as a nation & they must never be allowed to just die out. But sadly, that is exactly what is happening right now. A nation of uninformed citizens...sigh...

    4. BrentMc11

      BrentMc11

The only great thing about this "New Journalism" is that we journalists can still 'smell out' a wannabe! Bias was NEVER accepted unless it was an editorial....bias is in every article in 2012!

  5. Big news in my opinion, head coach and gm, pagano and grigson were at rg3 pro day. Only qb coach is at luck pro day? Rg3 colt? #qbdrama

I think they just want to be sure, after letting Peyton go and all, they better be REAL sure

I'm not a fan of this move because I see nothing but trouble here as a result of this. Only bright side is our new young team will get a trial by fire!

    4. ColtsPRIDE11

      ColtsPRIDE11

not a good move IMO. Denver has better protection for him and more weapons...not to mention who they could bring in this offseason for him...

  7. Bills have signed Mario Williams. The deal is over 100 million dollars! #wow

$100 million!!! Wow!!! Does Mario Williams need a personal assistant? I'm available. HA! HA!

  8. Peyton manning wearing an orange dress shirt on visit with titans. Great PR move by manning. #vols

    1. MAC

      MAC

I read "Peyton Manning wearing orange dress" LOL not the most fortuitous formatting.

    2. Gramz

      Gramz

haha, MAC I read it that way at first too. lol
    3. southwest1

      southwest1

Yeah, Peyton Manning's thought process behind wearing an orange t-shirt today: "Hey Bud Adams, Orange you glad to see me?" I know, I know, so stupid & lame it's mildly funny. But, symbolically speaking on a subliminal level #18 could be advocating his desire to join the Denver Broncos organization too. Both scenarios actually work here.

  9. We have exactly 15 days or less until Manning Drama is over.

Consider yourself lucky Indianapolis, next to the Brett Favre retirement flip flop circus fiasco in Wisconsin several years ago, the Peyton Manning dilemma is a cake walk & smooth sailing. I speak from personal experience on this colossal melted cheddar disaster known as crybaby Brett Favre.

  10. 5 colts personnel were at Baylor pro day to watch rg3. Including head coach chuck pagano and qb coach Clyde Christensen. #veryinteresting

I agree, I much prefer photo oportunities, than just an autograph, but.... having said that, I am enjoying my Autographed Reggie Wayne Helmet... ;-)

    2. southwest1

      southwest1

Pictures are 1,000 times better than an autograph. You can blow up the image, frame it, & hang it in your Colts Game day den/Sunday War Room.

  13. 4.59 40 for luck! 3rd overall! White man can run!

    2. BrentMc11

      BrentMc11

So he and RG3 run faster than our running backs.....WOW! I wish both QBs could throw side by side.

  14. Seems like everyone I talk to at WHS says RG3 > Luck. You're all wrong. They are pretty close, but Luck is the best over him. #futurecoltsqb

I like what Luck is putting out there personality wise and his work ethics over RG3 as well. I think he's a better fit for the Colts org.

  15. Peyton to be released around combine according to my sources @jasonlacanfora was right all along

  16. IU better be wary of Witchita State. Garrett Stutz is a very good player. He could beat Zeller. They average 80 ppg as well. #lookoutiu

Good call... Wichita State is a solid team!!

    2. Jay Kirk

      Jay Kirk

Very good, but dont think they will be over looked,Creighton is out of MV Conference also very strong,

  17. In a perfect world manning would be throwing bombs to a good randy moss. Manning won't be a niner though.

    1. MAC

      MAC

Not my idea of a perfect world. I can't stand Moss.

    2. BrentMc11

      BrentMc11

In a perfect world Moss and TO would quit trying to come back. Moss may do well with Harbaugh in his face however. If not, Harbaugh will send him packing....

  18. Wow, bills choked on Mario Williams. He was going to sign over a 100 million deal. But, he wants to do a peyton manning style free agency.

    1. BrentMc11

      BrentMc11

The money was good....Bills fans will NEVER forget Bruce Smith...and William knows it.

    2. BrentMc11

      BrentMc11

I think Williams wants the Titans...so he can put a smackdown on the Texans for dissing him.

  19. Pacers are out of Jamal Crawford race with getting Barbosa. Pacers still trying to trade for chris kaman

    1. BrentMc11

      BrentMc11

Deadline 1200 midnight?? Give some news dude...Barbosa?

    2. BrentMc11

      2nd round pick...good pickup...AVG 12.2///

  20. I can't believe this unc Asheville Syracuse game. #goasheville

No go Syracuse! I have them in my final 4 haha

    2. BrentMc11

      BrentMc11

Rough road for the cuse without Fab Melo

  21. Colts sign mike mcglynn. He will probably start at guard or center if Jeff Saturday does not return.

    1. BrentMc11

      BrentMc11

He has been injury prone. We now have 3 centers to compete. Shipley and Fitzpatrick (Rimington award winners) and McGlynn. I think he is more of a replacement for Pollak. He is not an every game center.

    2. BrentMc11

      BrentMc11

Another former Eagle by the way....played very little last year for the Bengals.

  22. Manning in Tennessee makes too much sense. Manning wants familiarity and he has his conference, division, and place he has played football.

    1. MIColtsFan

      MIColtsFan

they seem to be a front runner now more than last week.... hhhhhmmm will Manning announce tomorrow??

    2. southwest1

      southwest1

I see this scenario completely differently. #18 loves new challenges not old, obsolete, outdated retreads...Flee the AFC South entirely & Go to "Mile High" in Denver. Great defense, great offensive line, solid secondary, & a reliable running game to open up the play action pass. Denver is the only true answer here.

  23. Manning has shortened list to denver, arizona, and miami. Announcement of new team tuesday.

    1. Gramz

      Gramz

I understand HE is interviewing ELWAY right now.....

      I'm hoping for Miami,

    2. southwest1

      southwest1

Actually Mile High Stadium would be a perfect fit for #18. A stout defense, a fantastic offensive line, a decent secondary, & VP of Football Operations & Hall of Fame QB John Elway knows exactly what Peyton wants protection wise. I like Denver a great deal. Peyton can win easily & quickly here.

  24. Butler wants to join a-10 conference by 2014 according to reports.

    1. BrentMc11

      BrentMc11

All sports but football replacing Temple.

  25. According to John McClain, he believes that texans are not in the manning race.

    1. BrentMc11

      BrentMc11

Tennessee wants him, and are already paying Hasselback and Locker way too much....another cap killer.
