YESSSSSSSSSSSSS!!! He was top 5 on my board. And he fell to us! NICE!

Hooker, Allen, Foster, Harris, Barnett are all still on the board. WOW

I don't think much of Tankersley. In games I've watched he doesn't seem to tackle very well. He doesn't seem good at all in run support. I like your other picks though.
yeah, that's a weird thing I've noticed too... he's very physical in coverage, but avoids contact when it comes to tackling. I'm willing to work with that. Cover ability is much more important for conrers than tackling and of course you can coach him up.

LOL. I guess I like way too many players in this draft. I'd love to have any of those as UDFA.

Depending on who drops, this might be my favorite scenario.

I like that you put Hunt in the 3rd because I think he will be highly sought after and getting Griffin earlier in the 4th is key. I like it but still would probably look at O-line depth over Kittle. I say that because we have depth there and can still grab another UDFA and be fine. They are very high on Swoope so I see him getting a lot of action this year with Doyle.
I don't like the O-linemen at this point of the draft. I don't think they will be worth the picks they are picked with. If we need O-linemen we probably need to get one in day 1 or 2.

If his off-the-field issues don't bother Ballard, I'd love Reuben Foster. Others I like - Haason Reddick, Malik McDowell.

Here's my final mock draft. I tried to be realistic and not include players that would be almost certainly gone at the respective point of the draft.
Round 1, pick 15
Charles Harris, OLB, Missouri - NFL officials seem to like him more than most pundits. I like him too and he's been linked with the Colts. Matt Miller reported a month or so ago that Chris Ballard loves Harris. He's a pass-rusher with great potential - good burst off the ball and the best spin move in the draft. He also looked very good in the positional drills at the combine. His testing at the combine was not good, but he made huge strides at his pro-day, improving his 3cone time by close to half a second, and both his vertical and broad jumps by 5-6 inches.
Round 2, pick 46
Cordrea Tankersley, CB, Clemson - great press corner, sometimes he's too grabby, but he showed at the combine that he has the speed(4.40 40 yard dash) to be successful even if we have to coach him out of his grabbiness a bit. He fits pretty much all the criteria Chris Ballard has mentioned about desired cornerback traits - he's big(6'1"), he's long (over 32" arms), he has ballskils and turns the ball over(9 interceptions and 20 passes defended over the last two seasons).
Round 3, pick 80
Kareem Hunt, RB, Toledo - A running back with potential to be 3-downs RB. He's the RB with one of the best balances in the draft. Runs with physicality, but also has the wiggle and cut ability to make people miss. Catches the ball from the backfield seamlessly. He's my favorite RB in the 3d-4th round range. Exceptional hands and ball security - has 1 fumble in 780 college carries. The Colts met with him at the senior bowl.
Round 4, pick 122
Shaquill Griffin, CB, UCF - One of the best performers at the combine and another corner that fits all the criteria Ballard likes for his corners - big(6'1"), long(over 32" arms), and turns the ball over(6 interceptions, 2 of them returned for TD, 26 passes defended over the last two years). He had freaky combine for his size( 4.38 40yd, 38.5" vertical, 132" broad jump). He's the only player the Colts had both top 30 visit with and a private workout with.
Round 4, pick 137
Alex Anzalone, ILB, Florida - If it wasn't for his injury concerns he would be picked much higher. He's a linebacker with good size and movement, sheds blocks well and tackles with purpose. He can also move sideline to sideline and cover on passing downs.
Round 4, pick 144
George Kittle, TE, Iowa - He was a blocking TE for Iowa but he was underutilized in their passing game. Even so... if I told you he had similar combine numbers to OJ Howard and has more TD receptions than him in his college career, would you believe me? I think there is high untapped potential here.
Round 5, pick 158
Keionta Davis, OLB, Tennessee-Chattanooga
Thoughts and comments are very welcome.

If there is video proof, then the teams have reviewed it. He may get drafted after all. We will find out soon enough
Exactly my thought. Even if he's truthful, he still might fall somewhat due to PR hastle the situation of drafting him might require.

Word out of Denver has been that they don't like the OL in this draft... #lyingseason
Interesting... I think it's almost certain they get an O-lineman,,, unless someone like OJ Howard drops.

Because they allegedly really like McCaffery too.
It still makes no sense to me? How us presenting the image that we love McCaffrey to the point of wanting to trade up would make another team think they can make us trade down so they can get McCaffrey?
I thought Denver might be trading up to get O-Lineman.

its either fake news
or a smoke screen to encourage denver to trade with us
or its true. take your pick
How would this entice Denver to trade with us?

@NewColtsFan Still no McDowell? Good list though. I posted my own list for the Colts in another thread yesterday. Got to just about 28 names.

I hope it doesn't happen. I like McCaffrey but there are bigger needs and trading up is dumb. I'll just cross my fingers!
As I said above - the source is an ex-blogger with less than 3K subs who is not working for any media right now. What's the chance he of all people would have an insider info on what the Colts are doing when he's never broken any news on the Colts before? My guess is this is #fakenews.

I don't mind McCaffrey ... makes way too much sense for the Colts... the problem is... I don't like trading up to get him. If he falls and you love him, take him at 15. Don't waste valuable draft capital.

Here's a film study by Matt Waldman and Dan Hatman of Temple OLB/ILB Haason Reddick, who's been a popular pick in the first for the Colts in series of mock drafts. It shows off both his athleticism and some of his weaknesses and possible worries about his transition to an off-the-ball role:
-
I don't think we have enough information. At least I don't. If our investigators clear him, I'm OK with him being on the board.

Here's the police report:

More reporters reporting teams believe accusation is bogus:
At the same time he's decided not to attend the draft:
