  1. I know I'm in the minority on this one, bit I don't want Thomas. He seems like he could make a name for himself, but as someone's X or #2 receiver. He dosnt bring anything to the table that we don't have in Pierce and Pittman. He isn't what we need. We need a high quality receiver to play the Z.
  2. I'll give elite to Mahommes, Kelce, Jones. Thunley and Humphrey I can dig as elite. Bolton, Sneed, and McDuffie are pretty good. Not elite. Their talent along with the others you listed are just good, not elite. They're corner back room is deep. I wouldn't consider any of them elite though, and I do like Sneed. Take Mahommes out and alot of those talents would look their part. Mahommes is that generation QB that makes everyone around him better. It is what it is and congrats to KC for having him. Peyton did it for us. While we had some elite players then too, most were average and it showed once he was gone.
  3. https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/draft/2024/02/13/nfl-scouting-combine-2024-draft-prospect-invite-list-released/72589626007/ No Khristian Boyd or Evan Anderson.
  4. I'd say outside of a few well known players, KC is filled with mostly average talent right now. San Fran on the other hand, I'd say they are littered with elite talent almost everywhere, but qb.
  5. https://steelersdepot.com/2024/02/2024-nfl-draft-scouting-report-arizona-te-tanner-mclachlan/ I've seen this guy a few times. The size of a small DE but has alot of room to add muscle. More of a receiving TE, but with the added muscle he might be a decent blocker one day too. Almost had 1000 yard. In the second video you can see Latu get sent out wide and the stonewalled.
  6. I for one, am perfectly fine having a high draft pick starting a rotational piece on the D line. You want your backup d line to be as good as your starting line. Ravens and Eagles do it. I do agree that Stewart's backup will be a day 3 pick. If it's his replacement then round 2 is about right.
  7. https://www.indystar.com/story/sports/nfl/colts/2024/02/11/shane-steichens-focus-on-explosive-plays-define-colts-offseason/72529093007/ This one? I've read the start this morning and thought about getting back into it later tonight.
  8. I'd say we need both. We need to bring in alot of depth tbh. We were solid not to long ago but it's all either grown into starting roles or moved to other teams. I'd say it's time to let Pinter walk. He had his chance and it didn't work.
  9. Couldn't tell ya. Honestly, I havnt read the article or watched the video. I saw the article as I scrolled through Google looking for stuff to read, saw your question, and figured it was relevant to your question.

  11. I've always thought the boo's were for the decision. If he did feel a way about it I can understand too. His last interaction with fans, after all he did on the field, was boo's. I can understand how that would hurt. That said, the fans were hurt too.
  12. https://www.si.com/nfl/colts/news/colts-interviews-garret-greenfield-south-dakota-state They're doing their due diligence on O lineman this year. Could be checking them out, or asking about the play of the lineman opposite of them.
  13. Hopefully that helps him fall. We only need him to backup Grover. If he had to start I'm sure we would swap him out with Dayo on passing downs. He could still provide something on passing downs. At the senior bowl the commentator was saying that all a guard can do is hope to slow him down. You can't stop him but you can slow the collapse of the pocket. I want to say the only rep I saw lost was a rip and pull move that wasn't timed well. Saying that, we don't utilize 350 lb NTs. Grover is 310. I think the best backup or replacement in this draft is Kristian Boyd. Now that's a 3 down lineman.
  14. Definitely. That's why I say you grab Bowers and hope that both reach their ceiling. It would be like the new age Hernandez and Grronk.
  15. Still didn't find what I want at slot cb, but found Tyrice Knight, LB from UTEP. Someone to let grow but has all the tools. Not much of a blitzer, but has enough knowhow in the passing game that I think he fits well behind Franklin.
  16. With TY hinting that he would've come back had he not got boo'd, there was most likely a time where he was teetering on the decision that was made. To which my comment comes in.
  17. I like Luck, but once he made the decision to retire right before the season, there was no coming back. You let the whole team and city down right before the start of the season. Once you make a decision that big you have to stick to it. Don't flip flop and don't say you didn't come back because you got boo'd. Be a man and stand next to the choice you made.
  18. Sitting here thinking, we need a backup slot cb. Tony Brown is gone. I expect Moore to be resigned but we need his heir apparent in the building. Anyone in this upcoming draft that yall think we can get in the later rounds to fill that spot?
  19. I see quiet a few LBs in the middle rounds worth taking this year, the majority need the Franklin/ Speed route and need developed. Cooper is the only one I'd say is ready right away to make an impact. Cedric Grey looks to be a solid. Payton Wilson is versatile but his medical checkups will say alot about where he goes in the draft. Ulofoshio, Ford, and Liufau all have traits worth developing. I havnt been impressed with much of anything looking forward to 2025. That really might end up being a weak class all around.
  20. I don't think they're set on offense or defense in the first. At 15 we're gonna get what we can get. We still might trade back from there too, which I really hope we don't unless it's for an offer we can't refuse.
  21. Does this hire make it more likely that we look at guys like Chop Robinson or Adisa Issac in the draft. Isaac could be a lot a Leo.
  22. I'm really liking the thought of Cam Hart in the second. If he last to that pick. Big CB woth good speed. Arguably the second best CB in the senior bowl. Apparently when Notre Dame went against Ohio State Hart was covering Harrison Jr and held him to 3 catches for 32 yards.
  23. Guy actually had crazy production. Last season he had 9.5 sack and 11.5 tfl in 6 games played.
  24. Thanks for all the info. It seems like quiet a bit of work. I think this does show what we all know as far as needing to blitz more, and how much it helps having that elite rusher. The '21 blitz rate was nice and I think that came down to Leonard and Moore playing so well. The efficiency surprises me due Kenny Moore. He is a specialist at blitzing from the slot position. EJ Speed seems to know how to get into the backfield fairly easily as well. I do recall a few tackling whiffs on his part once back there. I do see scheme as the issue here. It might be due to the lack of quality play on the back end, but Bradley has never been much on blitzing from what I know. The Ravens game showed that the plays are in the playbook. They just need to be called at the right time.
