  1. I'm sure the Colts are gonna give him a chance. As far as fans, gotta put it down on the field before we crown him. Luckily the practice field in training camp is usually enough for us lol. As a 7th rd DE, his chances are low. Not zero tho so let's see.
  2. That's what it looks like to me. A foot in the coaching door.
  3. https://www.glassdoor.com/job-listing/tony-dungy-diversity-coaching-fellow-2024-indianapolis-colts-JV_IC1145013_KO0,41_KE42,60.htm?jl=1009097291976 All I could find is the job link.
  4. I wonder what caused the big 3 to not grade so well on here
  5. Looks like we are looking for mammoth size tackles. Big 6th lineman.
  6. From the reports I've seen, Frank wanted Wentz. Ballard had to be sold on it, but got the QB his head coach wanted. So 70/30 Frank there. The AR one I'd say 50/50. They had to of talked about the QB selection at 4 during the interview process. I wouldnt think Ballard would hire the guy then ask what he wanted at QB. So I'd say they either both came in with it, or someone had to be sold and it's more 60/40.
  7. The answer to your question lies within how the team operates internally. Which nobody on here will know. Sorry, but you won't find answers here for that question.
  8. I think that's completely up to Ballard and how he operates. Something none of us would know for certain. One of the scouts was pounding the table for Jaylon Jones last year and Ballard said the picks on him. I'd imagine his input goes a little further this year. As far as head coaches like Reich, probably not. Ballard has to build the head coaches team. Even when Pagano was in the last year, and everyone knew he was going, he got the guys he wanted.
  9. https://youtu.be/juUGda4Awqg?si=3iMT2Ck5GCM99Myx Not to interject. I was listening to this the other day and I think it lines up with what you're asking. During the interview here with Coach Partridge he talks about how he got to his desk, got settled in, then Chris hit him with a list of FAs that he wanted him to rate and rank off the bat. So even position coaches have influence coming in the door. Their opinion on these matters are one of the things they are brought in for. I'm sure the dynamic does change with a new coach to a degree. He dosnt know what he likes as much as he did Frank's who he has been working with for the last few years. Now he has to figure out what the new coach wants so he can bring that to the roster.
  10. One more vet safety hopefully. If Simmons or Diggs can make their way here we will be looking pretty good at safety IMO.
  11. You're probably right about the definition part. Was more saying it's not Facebook. At least I won't get a confused emoji lol
  12. It's not a glitch. They were removed. It probably has to do with the fact that people don't like their serious posts being responded to with a laughing emoji. The other two were removed for similar reasons. Leaving the thanks and like provides a quick way to like the post. If you don't like the post you will have to write a response of why you don't like it. Then that can be responded to. So on. Which makes sense for a forum. This isn't social media where we are searching for likes. This is what I have been able to gather and assume through reading last night and this morning.
  13. I agree with most of these, but I don't think they're off the table aside from tackle. I think DE could be likely. The LEO position is what throws me off and puts Turner and Robinson in position. I personally don't see Chop as elite and think we can grab him in the second. His speed as a LEO is tantalizing.
  14. Just wondering, which prospects do you see as elite at a position we arnt looking at? I think Powers-Johnson is one but taking a center that high makes little sense.
  15. There's a good mix of both from what I gather. Everyone was high on Quenton Johnson last year and the projections didn't match. Not saying he's a bust yet but even as much scouting and research was done he didn't meet first year expectations. Even with the research and extensive analysis there are still busts. The same research provides late round gems that everyone overlooked. Drafting and scouting isn't an exact science. There's a good amount of chance and a little bit of guessing. It's what makes it fun imo.
  16. Well, that is truly unknown. We could trade up for Nabers and he busts. Then we waste picks. We could end up with a 3rd round receiver that ends up having the best career out of any receiver in the past decade. "Difference-maker" won't actually be known for some time. You're just betting on projections. I'd rather keep 15 and find the playmaker that drops to us, and have the other picks. Nabers has a good chance of being a difference-maker. Not a garuntee tho.
  17. IMO, I can only say Nabers would probably be the only true difference maker that could make it to our striking range. He would he a perfect fit in our offense too. I doubt we trade up, especially for a WR in a deep WR draft.
  18. That's a rough one. I'd say you go with Latu and hope for the best. If he ends up being a star pass rusher then we would have our major three.
  19. So we out here throwing a fit every time another team makes a signing or trade? Lmao.
  20. I've thought this whole offseason that the best use of the chargers pick at number 5 is an OT. WR is flashy but tackles are far more important to the team. They can get a decent tackle in rd 2, but nothing like Joe Alt, Fuana, Fashanu, or Lathem. Lathem would be a trade back candidate, but a good one since the need a RT more than LT.
  21. You think there's any chance DeJean ends up falling to the second round?
