We scout the crap out of Fromm, Herbert, and Tagovailo because we’re in the QB market. We’ll probably draft top 10 so gotta get it right.
-
Dang that sucks but I wish him the best to hopefully get his mental health right.

Didn’t CB say he was going to play Simon as a DE?

Was hoping to draft him so this is a win! Heard a ton of great things about him from Mayock and NDT.

You can’t have enough depth and at the end of the day if the prospects become bums then it ain’t my job on the line. I just hope he grabbed some gems to make this team somewhat enjoyable to watch. Love the Nelson pick and hope he brings the nasty. Leonard should be a great WILL and hopefully Smith locks down the RT spot. Interesting to see if they bring CJ in to partner with Mack.

Well I guess it’s starting to make sense with the defenses in the AFC South now. Titans just grabbed Landry too so our line better put it all together.

Most of which you will find leading directly through the oline to our franchise QB.
Castonzo, Nelson, and Kelly we’ve already invested enough high end picks on the line. O and Mewhort is coming back too. A new OC should also do wonders since Chuck was super predictable.

Darius Leonard okay sounds good. Another guard ehhhh we have so many holes atm.
-
Good interior now with Nelson, Kelly, and hopefully Mewhort!

Josh Jackson, Isaiah Oliver, Anthony Averrett, Jaire Alexander, and Donte Jackson.

Just look at the Giants fan forum and you'll see why I don't want him. Below is a quote from one of their members to give you an idea
"Getting a 6th or 7th would be enough for this waste of space. Get him out of the locker room! He stinks and he doesnt care to get better. Use that pick to draft our future kicker lol. Bye Bye Ereck!"

We aren’t going to address all of our needs this offseason. CB set us up with the three additional second rounders and based on the rumors is looking to acquire more while still being in a great position to get one of the premium players (I’m hoping Roquan Smith is there). I believe I read somewhere that Dallas played in nickel around 75-80% of the time, therefore, there’s one less backer. There are a bunch of corners in this draft that would excel in the 2-4th round so that would address one need while saving some draft capitol. It looks like the linebackers drop off after the first so getting one in the first with a trade back would be my dream scenario.

I could also see CB using one of 36 or 37 + 49 or 67 to move up into the first to grab Vander Esche is they select Roquan Smith. We’d have our Mike and Will for the foreseeable future.
-
Isaiah Oliver will go earlier, hopefully we can get him with one of our seconds. Ragnaw i have seen mocked in the 1st and 2nd so he is picking up. I personally had him at 3 awhile ago but thinking he would be a good pickup with our last second round pick.

Cardinals 1st this year and next has me listening but not for a RB.

Most of those guys are going to be long gone by those picks.

Why would settle? Buffalo will be desperate if their “franchise quarterback” is still there at #6
If that’s what they were offering they would just jump up to the Giants and bypass us all together. Look at the Mahomes trade last year for somewhat a baseline.

I love rounds 2.4, 4 and 5 and curious who you have going 1-5 in the first. Hernandez is who I think would be a monster at RG for us and hopefully Mewhort back to his old self. Penny I think is going to get snatched in the 2/3rd range. So if you select Penny with the 3rd then go Alex Kappa in the 4th that may be a possibility.

Ballard wouldn't move unless the Bills blow him away with an offer. It would take their current two first round picks, a 2nd and a 3rd for him to consider the move from 6 to 12, IMO, if the precedent from the Jets trade is any indication.
If the Bills balk at it, they take their chances.
I’d personally want their 12, 2018 2nd, and 2019 1st. Gamble they are bad next year. Could always bundle a 2nd with the 12 to try and get Edmunds/Smith at 10.

This is why we are not trading down to #12.
Bills could always blow us away with an offer.

Hurst in the second would be amazing. His initial burst would definitely help the EDGE and collapse that pocket.
-
I’d love Landry at 12 and Vander Esche at 22.

Took me a second to figure out what happened to Ryan Kelly!

Will one of you guys understand I'm not saying we shouldn't get a 3 tech? I do think it's not likely we will get all 3 of them in this draft. I just think the edge players have a bit more value. Doesn't mean you miss out on the 3 tech or not target a good one if available . Trust me I see the value of the position.
I just think it's less managable if your edge players are bad versus if you have a good 3 tech and bad pass rushers. Ideally you would like to have strong play from all 3 if you can. The whole piece is important, but I think the edge players have a bit more value.
We both understand your point, however, you initially downplayed the 3 tech spot references a defense with the likes of two HOFs. I also believe we can get after the QB just as effectively with Sheard on one side and a great 3 tech. You put the emphasis on 2 edge first then tackles and I’d say it’s 1 edge, 3 tech, other edge in that order. Pretty simple just a little difference in our philosophy. I also believe that Landry will have tremendous value as an end in a 4-3 and can be obtained outside the top 10.

Why would Seattle let him go? The man is loved there and just bought their soccer club.
