  1. I agree with you for the most part, but I don't think its as black and white as you say. Yes could we improve consistent pressure with our DL? Sure. But pure talent alone, our secondary room is possibly bottom 10 in the league. We are in desperate need of playmakers in the secondary.

Even if we play zone, a playmaker in the secondary makes QBs double take and 2nd guess throws, which in turn will help our pass rush.

Also, Quinyon Mitchell played mostly zone in college, had 6 INTs in the last 2 years.

  2. Its got to be Steichen.

To be a rookie coach, dealing with a star player hold out, future of the franchise QB hurt at the beginning of the season, multiple suspensions and injuries, most teams would have packed it in, like we did last year. It is so hard to keep things on the rails and everyone motivated as a coach. Let alone a rookie head coach.

  3. Until you understand that WRs in an offense, actually have defined roles other than "catch the ball", you won't be able to understand how Pierce is not going to look good this year.

He has ran over 11k yards this year, which leads the NFL WRs. He is strictly a deep threat, take the top off WR in this offense. Problem is, Minshew cannot throw deep. Like at all. He's made for a west coast offense. As soon as Richardson went down, AP had no chance.

Next year will be the big evaluation year for him.

  4. I can't speak for the 2nd half, as I didn't watch that intently. But watched the first half and focused solely on Leonard on defense... good lord he looked horrendous. I'm not sure Speed hasn't past him, let alone Franklin. HIs mobility is completely shot. Zero agility. Any play outside the tackles, good luck.

Sad really, was on pace to be a legendary colt.

  5. The thing that I've always found really odd with Pittman, is how they use him. They LOVE to use him underneath on drags and mesh concepts which is fine to get him touches. But they rarely ever give him deep shots one on one on the outside. But go look at his college highlights, hell even his top plays in the NFL, he moss's guys. I know hes not a burner, but hes physical he can out reach and get physical at the top. Like a Mike Evans or Mike Williams. Just give him more of those shots every game.

  6. Its a shame. Sad really. Was on pace to be a hall of fame backer before injuries derailed him. Not gunna lie though if I were him I would absolutely go back to Darius instead of Shaq lol. Call me crazy or superstitious but he literally is a different player.

Side note, thank god for the break out of Franklin.

Didn’t want to create a new thread. PTSD @w87r lol. But I think coaches should do stuff like this more often. The louder the voices the more attention it may and deserves to get. The officiating yesterday in all honestly was at an all time low. Miami was playing two teams yesterday

This isn't actually Mcdaniel btw, its a parody account.

  8. Loved Moss coming out of college, was surprised how little and how ineffective he was in Buffalo. Love seeing him breakout here. Not a homerun hitter, but that would just be icing on the cake. Give me the consistent steady back any day.

He is not a number 1 in terms of how he is perceived  by the league. Jefferson,, Hills, Adam's, Chase etc are true number #1's. There  r few true #1's in the league. They keep defensive coordinators  up late at night. People really have a hard time in truly evaluating Pittman. He is a #2 and there is jothing  wrong with that.  If u want to pay north of 20 million, as I am sure he will ask for that, then go ahead. U do, and u r going down the same road as  Ballard went with Leonard and Nelson. In that case he over paid elite money for elite  players at non premium positions. In Pittmans case, he would be overpaying for a very good player who is not elite at a premium position. Just my take on it.

All depends on your definition really. Like for example, I don't agree with youe definition of all those guys you listed. Those guys are the superstar WR, the Elite tier, which imo, is higher than #1 WR. I think there are alot more #1s than you mentioned. Those guys you mentioned are gamewrecking elite tier guys.
