Gotta catch the train for the prisoners in San Quentin now...

Perhaps, it was just time to cut ties with Delia one way or another...

No, I am not condoning violence against anyone just to be clear, but I do like this number.

I will add more songs to this set list later. I promise.

PS "Hurt" is one of BrentMc11's favorite Johnny tracks too. A song that never gets old.

Just the emotion that showed on Robert, Jimmy and John Paul was amazing. And even Jason was getting emotional playing his fathers spot was just as emotional. Great tune made epic.

Even rockers have a tender side.

Melodies is what makes Tesla so special. That & intricate guitar strumming.

Thanks for thinking of me RR7 & for your good thoughts. What? No 'Last Mile?' Just joking brother.

I like the part where Tom Keifer throws the guitar tech his instrument & vice versa.

Yeah, I remember well when "Nobody's Fool" came out in 89 I think. That song still holds up with a nice Blues vibe to it. A nice dance number on dates too actually as you swivel your hips etc. etc.

  6. Why do I feel like this was one of your favorite groups???  Sorry if i am wrong?

Not only that RR7, Carlos Santana's wife, Cindy Blackman is a spectacular drummer. Just fantastic with roots in jazz. Plus, she's Lenny's Kravitz's former percussionist too. The woman is incredible on stage. Trust me.

SW1 is not the best amateur drummer myself, but I've always had an ear for who truly is.

"Are you gonna go my [Cindy Blackman's] way?" Ah yeah, hello...

I miss Dave Letterman & Paul Shaffer man. I just like those fellas & their Indiana roots. Nice guys.

Playing the "Game Of Love" is never fun, but sometimes real chemistry is found by serendipity or others supernatural forces at play.

Alicia Keys & Carlos Santana together. Nice. I can die now.

As corny as it sounds, I appreciate kind people like yourself, GFB, Gramz, Brent, Jay Kirk, & Bogie who have a vast treasure trove of musical knowledge across numerous genres etc. etc. Music & movies are my decompression chamber away from the daily rigors of life.

Football isn't my top priority at the moment. My mom's recovery & family are naturally.

Since going to concerts since mid 60.'s at 12 years old or so traveling around the country with friends & still going, just not traveling  , i have just so many favorite songs and so many various live versions of same heard , many times an unexpected top one from the past popped up & I'd cry & still have vivid memories of those times

what would life be without music and all forms of art

@radio, me too. Machine, Time, Learning to Fly, and Brick in the Wall too. A lot of people have the misconception that people that like Pink Floyd do some sort of drugs. I have never did a drug in my life, I drink but never have done any drugs. I get drug tested where I work so it's not even worth it anyway. There are people that don't like them believe it or not, one of my best friends don't. It's a different type of music that you either love or dislike I guess. What I love about them, some of their music relaxes you and some of their music gets you pumped up. They can play any kind of music. Machine is great to listen too when working out. Comfortably Numb is great when I have had about 3 or 4 Crown Royals haha

I was telling my boss last week how much I love Pink Floyd and listened to them growing up.  He called me a druggie.  I just said, "Whatever.  Never did any drugs and never will.  But, I told him if he can't recognize genius and excellent music maybe he's the druggie!"  Ha!

@NFLfan please extend my best wishes to your mother on her special day & many more to come.

I'm glad you like the song 'Man I'll Never Be' my friend. I just revere bands that be vulnerable & show their softer side in a cut throat music business. It's hard for guys to display tenderness to the women they love or even acknowledge their stubbornness openly, but songs like this help us drop our tough persona & use this number as a way to express in notes what we struggle to articulate in words to the ladies we cherish in our lives even when we disappoint them more than we should.

I promise to e-mail back soon I promise. You & your family seem pretty cool & laid back & I like that.

  15. Have there ever been so many incredible talents in one band?  My late Father's favorite song...had a very weird experience listening to this after his passing, I miss you Dad!

There may be still versions of it on SACD in surround for far less, and pending the reviewer , well some say 1 format is beter some say another and some say it depends on the equipment played on which is best

"Desperado" is a beautiful song. I can easily see why it was your father's favorite. I'm so sorry to hear that your father is gone my brother. It's so hard to lose 1 or more parents because nobody will ever give us that kind of unconditional love like our mamma & our papa did once they depart forever.

You're a good man RR7 & I'm abundantly confident that your father is beaming with pride over the person you have become.

Whoa RR7. I'm so sorry to hear that you lost your father so abruptly due to a broken healthcare system & insufficient medical professionalism & human compassion for the living family members suffering in agony in silence. I know how cold, heartless, & stoic some Dr.s & nurses can be.

I realize that medical school conditions them to deliver bad news with no emotions, but it still feels excruciating nevertheless.

Thx for your generosity as well RR7. It's an honor to call you a friend too. I'm still sorting some things out, but if I need anyone to lean on, I'll definitely reach out 2 U.
