I enjoyed all. Love the one showing the Eagles performing Take It Easy live. Sounds great. I regret never having seen them in concert while Glenn Frey was still with us. I have to see some of my favorite bands before their key members die.

      Thanks again!

Power ballads always puts fuel in the lear jet & it keeps the tour bus rollin' baby...

Even rockers have a tender side.

Melodies is what makes Tesla so special. That & intricate guitar strumming.

@NFLfan please extend my best wishes to your mother on her special day & many more to come.

I'm glad you like the song 'Man I'll Never Be' my friend. I just revere bands that be vulnerable & show their softer side in a cut throat music business. It's hard for guys to display tenderness to the women they love or even acknowledge their stubbornness openly, but songs like this help us drop our tough persona & use this number as a way to express in notes what we struggle to articulate in words to the ladies we cherish in our lives even when we disappoint them more than we should.

I drive my mother to rehab twice a week & she's been a trooper about the whole situation since this is her 2nd heart attack now. Modifying what you can & can eat is always the toughest part.

I promise to e-mail back soon I promise. You & your family seem pretty cool & laid back & I like that.

I really like this Rob Lundgren vocal cover of this timeless classic. He annunciates the word 'Diver' with an elongated tone just right.

Thank you RR7 for your generous music tribute on my behalf. It is immensely appreciated. I am forcing myself to proceed forward in the wake of my nephew's death with mixed results. I know I'm not the only one to lose somebody incredibly close to me via suicide so, this circumstance hardly makes me unique. I realize that. Nevertheless, I've heard it said that out of great tragedy & pain creativity can grow & germinate amongst those left behind to go forward. Blues musicians talk about this occurrence a lot.

In any event, I appreciate the musical therapy session. Much obliged.

I've never felt this level of numbness before like I've been hallowed out with a rusty spoon. At any rate, I'm hoping that time, space, & music will eventually return my fractured psyche back to some version of what I used to be before Matthew took his own life. Time will tell I guess. I wouldn't this level of agony on anybody.

Thanks again for the nice musical medley.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, heaven let your light shine down." 1 of the best melodic lyrics ever written man.

Right up there with Queensrÿche's masterpiece "Silent Lucidity" man.

I admire that about you RR7. You appreciate power ballads & blow the roof off the joint rock n roll pulse pounding anthems equally. M-432 understands quality slow tracks too.

Every time, this Looking Glass tune comes on the radio, I always end up singing along without fail.

"...And there's a girl in this harbor town
And she works layin' whiskey down
They say "Brandy, fetch another round"
She serves them whiskey and wine

The sailors say "Brandy, you're a fine girl" (you're a fine girl)
"What a good wife you would be" (such a fine girl)
"Yeah your eyes could steal a sailor from the sea"
      (dooda-dit-dooda), (dit-dooda-dit-dooda-dit)

      Brandy wears a braided chain
Made of finest silver from the North of Spain
A locket that bears the name
Of the man that Brandy loves"

I have a soft spot for hypnotic songs that put me in a trace & take me to a different plane for a few minutes.

I always liked "Gambler" from Whitesnake's early days too.

The vinyl needle crackling between the record grooves is so soothing to me. Plus, I love the dominant keyboard presence in this number as well.

You know how sometimes black women have a weave & older men sometimes buy rugs or toupees to mask or cover a bald spot on their head?

Is this guitarist named Chris Blade Johnson wearing a mop from the Home Shopping Network on his head as he jams out to "Prisoner" by Dokken?  Reminds me of Wayne's World with Dana Carvey & Mike Myers actually...

Since we already arrived in mullet heaven, cheesy glam rock with it's good old fashioned, sexist overtones & spandex workout gear seems like the next logical plateau right?

Lame, trashy, & catchy all rolled into one. I miss the 80's man. LOL! This was actually released in 2017 but sounds comically vintage though from the 1980's.

These boys from Sweden always crack me up! Almost like Spinal Tap tried to make a Top 10 train wreck single on purpose. I do like the tractor trailer mustache on the lead goof ball though. Figures, the lady has to play for the wrong team. Just joking!

I like  stuff so bad it grows on ya after awhile like a fuzzy fungus which eventually becomes decent & dare I say enduring after awhile.

if u ever get a chance fly over here and here what hotel California album sounds like on a DVD Audio disc in surround sound, its out of print and would cost over $200 today used if can find

There may be still versions of it on SACD in surround for far less, and pending the reviewer , well some say 1 format is beter some say another and some say it depends on the equipment played on which is best

But I tell u its astounding and will blow u away, Your dad , may he rest in piece will rise and dance dance dance

"Desperado" is a beautiful song. I can easily see why it was your father's favorite. I'm so sorry to hear that your father is gone my brother. It's so hard to lose 1 or more parents because nobody will ever give us that kind of unconditional love like our mamma & our papa did once they depart forever.

You're a good man RR7 & I'm abundantly confident that your father is beaming with pride over the person you have become.
