      SRV was the man!

Plus I saw ZZ Top two years ago live, and THEY STILL GOT IT! :)

Billy said "yup, same three guys, same three chords" lol

  2. Tired of the negativity on here....just felt like listening to Stevie, whether it be solo. as a duet or with Fleetwood Mac.

I'm with ya M-432. No matter how bleak INDY's season may appear to be; I always watch & root for the horseshoe no matter what.

      southwest1

I like that about you M-432. You're loyal to INDY, but also know that this HC/GM dynamic must be altered for the sanity of Colts fans worldwide.

No disrespect intended toward Ryan or Chuck at all. Thanks for your contributions to our team & city, but this partnership isn't working out anymore & a new direction is mandatory.

Okay, SW1 is from WI not INDY, but it feels like a second home to me like an adopted city to me anyway. :D

Best Who moment or at least most unforgettable, I may have told this before

Stonybrook University Gym, just after Tommy comes out

sat 10 feet from monster speakers, when Pete Jumps and yells in high pitch voice My Name Is Uncle Ernie, I thought my ears would explode

" IF MY MEMORY SERVES ME WELL " lost first / or 2nd ? girlfriend there to Spencer Dryden, drummer, in rock & roll hall of fame, this is after he played for Airplane I think or may have been an airplane concert , but think was & at a Dead / New Riders of the Purple stage concert when he was the Riders Drummer & my friends had an in and we partied with Riders in back room after concert, Remember a series of folding doors in said room that when opened revealed , well some interesting things lets say - memory can get a bit foggy after all these years, all those concerts  & who was playing for who at any particular time

But those memories do serve me well from this wheels on fire, played by the Band written by Dylan

The perils of being a DEAD HEAD & ones memories , will see Dead & Company July 7, small outdoor amphitheter

  3. For a Friend that is dealing with loss....this song symbolizes a new beginning and how I felt when i saw my Daughter born.

I enjoyed all. Love the one showing the Eagles performing Take It Easy live. Sounds great. I regret never having seen them in concert while Glenn Frey was still with us. I have to see some of my favorite bands before their key members die.

It's just an infectious song that grows on you the more you listen to it. 1 of my favorites from this band.

Neil Young and Steven Stills both came from Buffalo Springfield. Them, the Hollies and the Byrds was the starting of Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young.

Kennedy Rae is a beautiful name for your baby girl RR7. Thanks so much for sharing that. I bet you're an awesome dad too. It's so hard to raise kids today with FaceBook, Twitter, & Instagram etc.

I will PM you soon too. I wasn't kidding about that either. I need to thank so many people like @Jay kirk, @Gramz, @Lollygagger8, you, & so many folks who cushioned the blow of losing my youngest nephew Matthew. It's pretty cool what a tight nit family the Colts Forum is.

haha Yeah, if you haven't already noticed, Michael Mann is 1 of my all time favorite directors. He graduated from UW Madison back in the 1960's too. When he used Chris Cornell twice in "Miami Vice" I was so bleeping stocked. Chris is in another stratosphere man & Mann is a master at movie scores. He just is. I even bought that soundtrack too. It sucks though. I had to download Chris's songs off iTunes because the AudioSlave classics weren't released on the soundtrack. It was bizarre. Anyway, Chris is king in my household too brother.

      Hey there RR7,

I came across this funny video of kids listening to Bon Jovi videos for the very 1st time. This band will also be inducted into the Rock N Roll HOF at the end of April along with the Moody Blues, Dire Straits, The Cars, Nina Simone, etc. etc. I know CC1 will be happy about the Moody Blues finally getting inducted.

Hey RR, I went to see Edgar Winter, Alice Cooper and Deep Purple at Klipsch Music Center a couple of nights ago. Pretty good show, Alice Cooper's band was bad butt. For 69 years old Alice still puts on a hell of a show. Deep Purple had their moments but age has caught them. Just didn't play with strong energy.

Not only that RR7, Carlos Santana's wife, Cindy Blackman is a spectacular drummer. Just fantastic with roots in jazz. Plus, she's Lenny's Kravitz's former percussionist too. The woman is incredible on stage. Trust me.

SW1 is not the best amateur drummer myself, but I've always had an ear for who truly is.

I think that Metallica one is actually Trans Siberian Orchestra. Not blaming you my friend. I think the person who posted that video made an innocent mistake & got the band name wrong. No worries. It happens to the best of us.

Speaking of Metallica, check this out: A drummer named Josh Steffan mocking popular songs as if Lars Ulrich was putting his signature touch on them. It's very funny because Lars always looks like the tiniest guy at a bar fight who believes he can take anybody on & beat them. Plus, Lars always gets snarl on his face when he's playing like he's trying to lick peanut butter off the end of his nose & he always wants to turn every song into an epic rock opera going bananas with his drumsticks. This guy does a beautiful job capturing that.

It's long but very funny. You never heard Bowie, Queen, Foreigner, Alanis Morrisette, or the Village People quite like this.

Encore you say. Sure, why not.
