Best Who moment or at least most unforgettable, I may have told this before

Stonybrook University Gym, just after Tommy comes out

sat 10 feet from monster speakers, when Pete Jumps and yells in high pitch voice My Name Is Uncle Ernie, I thought my ears would explode

" IF MY MEMORY SERVES ME WELL " lost first / or 2nd ? girlfriend there to Spencer Dryden, drummer, in rock & roll hall of fame, this is after he played for Airplane I think or may have been an airplane concert , but think was & at a Dead / New Riders of the Purple stage concert when he was the Riders Drummer & my friends had an in and we partied with Riders in back room after concert, Remember a series of folding doors in said room that when opened revealed , well some interesting things lets say - memory can get a bit foggy after all these years, all those concerts  & who was playing for who at any particular time

But those memories do serve me well from this wheels on fire, played by the Band written by Dylan

The perils of being a DEAD HEAD & ones memories , will see Dead & Company July 7, small outdoor amphitheter

Moderaters, I do apologize for the brief profanity spoken at the start of this live track called "Downtown."

This song is so Neil though singing about hippies & just hanging out. Vintage Young IMO.

"Keep On Rockin' In The Free World!"

I won't post it since I already did in my Rock N Roll HOF thread not that long ago when Pearl Jam used it as their grand finale jam out number with all the inductees on stage.

Great bleeping song though that always gets my blood pumping.

There's something about Canada that always producers kick caboose performers & deep thinkers man. Neil is the man!

Tesla is the best. Man, I love those guys! They can do anything...Ballads, covers, straight up rock n roll. They never get enough credit for what quality musicians they truly are live. Simply fantastic!

Johnny Cash is the best. His work is timeless, poignant, & always relevant no matter what decade we are in. "Hello, I'm Johnny Cash." Yes, you most certainly are. A friend to preachers, pimps, prostitutes, & politicians as well as the downtrodden. Love the Man In Black.

You're a good man RR7. I wish your pop was still around too. Just so I could have the pleasure of meeting him or at least hearing entertaining stories about him anyway. My condolences RR7.

Oops! My bad. I put Rainbow in the wrong status update. My apologies Cash. LOL!

Cash would lay down a spectacular cover though. We both know that.

I've never listened to much Yes but they remind me somewhat of Pink Floyd with their progressive style.  Crazy surreal stuff......  Different for sure but yet eerily as odd and progressive, creative!

Yes is at it's best when seen live. They have one of the most talented guitar players of all with Steve Howe for sure.

Yes I do, I like many different genres of music.  Though old fashioned rock and roll is my favorite.

I understood what MP Stack meant & yes, Diamond Dave & company did some interesting harmonies off of "Women & Children First" for sure.

I just appreciated how experimental "Divers Down" was an entire album with the Big Band sound of "Big Bad William,"  the country influence on "Happy Trails," the fabulous Roy Orbison cover of "Pretty Woman", the haunting instrument on "Cathedral", & everytime I hear "Intruder" in my car, I start driving faster. LOL! especially with that jazzy, high hat work on percussion with the quiet cymbal work. I love it.

Okay, I promise to stop raving about this VH album now. haha

Crap, I meant the song secrets not intruder. It's a pity a person can't edit status updates after they click submit. Oh well.

I liked the song so much that I wanted to listen to more of this band's music. I listened to their Greatest Hits album (2000) on Google Play. I like their music a lot. Thank you again for posting this. :)

Silent Lucidity is to power ballads what Silent Night is to putting a bow on Christmas. 1 of the best melodic songs ever written. It puts me in a mental, take stock trance every time I hear it.

Thank you for all your musical contributions RR7. I really respect your tastes.
