There is something to be said about letting your team grow together. I’m watching a lot of turnover right now in the league, and every year people think and say team X had the best offseason because of the heavy hitters they brought in… rarely does it translate that way.

If we are going to use that strategy I would expect a better scouting department then… what do they look for?  what makes a good scout from a bad scout? Cause ain’t like your way works either

There is no formula. The league is constantly evolving. Those that evolve (and have strong consistent qb play) win. The approach to win in the trenches isn't a bad concept. It can make a decent qb look much better and can cover up holes on the defense. The Raiders are going all-in on the d-line. Will be interesting to see what results they can get with Minshew under center.

In local little League usually the same group of kids wins every age bracket as they move up.. maybe that's what the Colts are somewhat doing without realizing it? if we keep the same group of people, as they get more and more experience and other people from other teams get old and quit or keep mix matching, the Colts instead of losing the tournament like they did in the previous years, the Colts will instead win the tournament, by constantly getting better steadily when all the other talent from other teams die out or trying to mix match themselves into a homerun hitter they'll instead mix match themselves into a lower team than the colts... Where our talent will finally be enough to take the crown...  Similar to winning little league... that practically the same group that couldn't win the pee wee bracket somehow won the Senior division without mix matching because we steadily got better instead of mix matching and trying to go for the jackpot and ending up with a bankrupt

I sort of agree because I want AR to have full reigns. Having said that, I don't want Sam as my backup if AR gets injured. Minshew almost won the division.

We went from a 4 win team to a 9 win team and we let the QB for that team go, it wasn't a usual situation I guess we couldn't match the offer or the offer wasn't that good

Didn’t look at the stat sheet but Anyone thinks Zack Moss outperformed Jonathan as a whole? Minshew probably gone, Zach Moss probably gone… that’s alright we signed some role players for our team we aren’t going to have the same team next year we aren’t going to the bottom barrel or stay the same we going to be better
