Staying home and just eating regular stuff. Before we moved to Myrtle we used to have a couple of friends over and we would eat stuff we weren't supposed to, haha. That was a lot of fun. Now we're old and don't really care what we eat, lol, so there's really nothing special. Football Sunday is always burger day, so we'll probably do that. Thinking KC will win, but as much as I like them I'm probably going to root for Purdy and CMAC for the upset. I usually like the underdog...dog... Dog?? Maybe I'll have a couple of hotdogs tomorrow as well!!

Colts have the 15th pick in the draft. (MERGE)

Agree. At this point I have seen only one mock where he fell to us. Still time for things to change, but... -

IF that is true then it is unfortunate. Keeping an open mind and being open to a possibility of it being true is about as far as I can get, but that's just me. It being a high probability or it being true is just beyond the fact stage at this point. Facts are important. -

To me it's even more than that. It would take every top player from every team to be in on the fix. That's a LOT of players over the course of X amount of years. To go along with what Sups said, the chances of someone spilling the beans along the way is quite high. Imagine being out of the league for a few years and money is running low. Why wouldn't that player run to a media outlet and get boodles of money to expose the league? The odds of that happening are (in my opinion) greater than the big fix being in. It's just too risky for the league to take that chance (like jvan just stated). I also agree that a rogue ref and/or player is plausible. Remember how Strahan was given a gift by Farve on his sack record back in '02? Yeah, that was a real "legit" sack... -
Thanks for that. Nice read. If his problems are solved he will definitely help this offense thrive. I don't know how you scheme two freakish TE's with AR & JT, but it sure would be nice to have that problem if they somehow get Bowers.

So I guess everyone thinks Woods won't be healthy this year? How does Woods compare to Bowers in everyone's mind? Is Woods a bigger target but slower? Who blocks better? Just wondering?

Colts meet with (draft prospect)
MB-ColtsFan replied to KB's topic in NFL Draft, Scouting, and Free Agent Talk
I saw him play against Coastal Carolina this year at RT. Just re-watched the game. Small sample size, but once he locks on you you're not going anywhere. I didn't get a sense of his mobility, but he pulled well and cleared out traffic road grader style. Moved well in pass pro, but I thought he was rather high in stance (but I don't really know these things, lol). -

Okay, you sold me, for the most part, on the Buckner possibility, haha. I didn't realize it was a good draft for DT's. It's always an unknown in the draft, but this year may be the year to do this. I also agree with someone who said that if Ballard doesn't pull the trigger in FA this year on day 1 he's never going to do it (trading our #1 is the same in my mind). My mindset is that he feels he has the franchise QB in AR and this is the year to go all in to get the roster to the next level. Next year we won't (hopefully) have a draft at 15, but more probably in the 20's. Get that guy this year and we can get this team to a much higher level. Of course this is just my opinion and is completely against his past norms. -

As a casual fan, I could see doing the Brown trade. Young, proven vet under contract until end of 2026(?). Definitely upgrades our WR corp and is another toy for AR. I’m good with that. Not so much with Buckner for a 2nd and another pick. It leaves a hole in the Dline which we have no replacement for. So what are we gaining here? We have cap space for the next couple of years from what I read here, so money is not *really* an issue. Is there a lineman in the draft that could take his place in the bottom of the first? Maybe we could take both second rounders and move up to the bottom of the first for his replacement? I don’t know, just asking. -
Raiders request interview Colts assistant GM Ed Dodds

This woukd be a good choice for the Raidets, in my opinion. He knows the division well. Would also keep Dodds here, haha. -

Yeah, we'll disagree, but to answer your question; if you get tackled in the end zone it's a safety. If you get tackled anywhere else it's just a tackle. The end zone is special. -

Nah. I actually like the rule. You lose it out of bounds through the end zone you get penalized. -
