  1. I'm not doubting you about his lack of players around him and even that Reich should stop being handed the keys to an NFL franchise. Young just does not look to have any of "it" that you need to be a polished QB in the NFL especially given that he was the number one overall pick and especially coming from a pro-system crimson tide team. If he was selected in the 3rd round or later than I personally would be like yea give him some time, but he was #1. Even with Lawrence, Lawrence still showed that there was something there even through the struggles. Young has not from what I have seen. I could be wrong and he might become Joe Montana, but I don't see it.
  2. Yea, he is terrible. Any laymen can see this. It's not just scheme. Any "athlete/QB" has to have some instinctual playmaking ability within in them so even in times when the scheme or talent around them isn't up to par, there is still some moments of witness that the QB has ability. In this case, 10 weeks in, Bryce Young has shown zero signs of having any of that underlying ability. He is a bust, and where some are still trying to give him, a pass based on whatever, deep down, they know.
  3. Oh wow. Did not remember that. Yea, then Carolina is, yea, you know...
  4. Carolina needs to take a QB and will be in position to do so. Also, I don't want to hear he's a rookie, give him some time, and that he doesn't have many weapons non-sense that Herbstreit was saying last night. All of what he said is true however the eyes don't lie here. This guy is not it and that is so evident. Admit the mistake and move on.
  5. Author Posted October 29 Friendos... I have been called out for saying that AP was a wasted 2022 2nd round pick. Let's see if I turn out to be right. This is a running weekly tab on how many games the real ghost, aka Alec Pierce, disappears. Week one: CHECK Week two: CHECK Week Three: Partial CHECK ( 3 for 7 is better or aka a little Boo ) Week Four: CHECK Week Five: CHECK Week 6: CHECK Week 7: Partial CHECK (3 catches today on 3 targets, all decent and 1 pretty good on a key free-play spot downfield) Week 8: UNCHECK < I know he only caught two balls, but the 3rd down catch late in the game was actually a great catch in a great spot, and YAC to get the 1st. Bigtime play, so this week, wasn't a ghost ironically on Halloween week no less, he isn't getting a Boo from me. Week 9: CHECK Week 10:
  6. Let it go. No more upgrades for this season. Just roll with whatever comes about. I would hope that behind the scenes all involved realizes that this team needs a true overhaul in players and coaches and won't try to Band-Aid this thing for a couple extra possible wins that won't matter at all in the bigger picture.
  7. I personally was expecting them to move Moss. That was about it. Keeping him proves nothing and we get nothing for him in return. We have Trey Sermon who is capable should JT go down especially on a team who isn't playoff bound or at least shouldn't be. This was the biggest blunder Imo, and if we somehow try to resign him in the off-season, then truly Ballard needs to be nixed, if not before seasons end.
  8. Come on. You know why we can't..
  9. Why can't it also be possible that no other teams are interested in any of these bums we currently harbor?
  10. What are the local Colts reporters saying about any trades that might happen involving the Colts. Anything new?
  11. Colts 247.2 Eagles 247.5 All in all, yes, our secondary stinks but so does the 2023 Eagles. They are just as putrid. Giving up .3 yards more per game than our Colts through 7 games, yet they are 7-1. Why? I will tell you why AJ Brown. A true alpha 1 receiver. Yes Hurts is there too, however, the alpha receiver is what the current Colts have been needing for years now. Don't fool yourselves about Corner Backs. We need an alpha receiver.
  12. So far...Ha!! I'm really trying to be as fair as I can be here.
  13. Maybe the Colts should make a play for Tee Higgins. In a contract year, not playing much today as the Bengals have been playing Irvin a lot today, which might be a sign they want to see what they have in Irvin so they can move tee. Who knows. Worth a look
  14. Based on what transpired in Minnesota, I might try and move Minshew to the Vikings. We have Sam and Kellen and this team needs to lose out, IMHO anyway. See if they would pony up a 3rd
  15. Based on what transpired today with Cousins, I would try and trade Minshew to the Vikings for a 2nd or 3rd. We have Sam and Kellen Mond and Minshew is on a 1-year contract, I think.
