I am not one to be bashing people, players etc too often, but Don Gordon's announcing was horrible yesterday. On many occasions he referred to players and coaches by the wrong last name including referring to Shane as Reich, Pierce as Pierson on multiple occasions and many other name blunders. Maybe it is time to get someone else in there or maybe I am being too harsh. It was distracting for me while watching the game that I enjoy and love.

I get both sides but it would be bad business to offer a contract to an injured player who hasn't played since the injury. There is no leverage here from JT camp we aren't even expected to win this year. It may even be an advantage if he stays out this year, heals up and is still under contract next year when we should be better.

Perhaps labeling JT a game changer vs playaker helps with the argument about Pittman and Pierce. Defenses are up at night about JT but no one else.

A healthy Lewis disrupts the problem is he can't stay healthy. Hopefully coaching is better, second year players progress and the QB room develops but we won't know until we see the finished product. I am not attacking what you stated just curious on how QB is addressed with 13 games under Richardson and a journeyman so far under Minshew but the other players added don't equate to addressed. Addressed versus fixed is a whole other question as well.

I don't see how you can say no change on the rest and addressed on QB. We have to see how all the pieces come together and work first. Maybe nothing is addressed or all are addressed. Hoping our new coaching staff brings out the best and surprises us in a good way.

If we are going to trade up to #1 our best bet is to trade to 3 and then trade to 1. In that scenario Bears still get their pick of the draft knowing both Colts and Texans would be taking a QB. I don't really think it is worth it and a lot still depends on free agency. I won't be surprised to see Jimmy G come to Indy.

Trade pick 4, Kenny Moore and Leonard to the Bears. Sign Franklin to a new deal and keep your picks and get your QB. Forget the dead money it is a sunken cost.
