I believe so to initially get to the top 10 then to 7, but this version of Josh Allen was nothing to his first few years in the NFL. He was a QB that can run and occasionally can complete a pass. People viewed him more like Tim Tebow in the beginning. One of the posters mentions they see Allen not Jones.

Because clearly the Giants weren't sold on him and that's my point. You guys wanna see Allen and perhaps Levis can be Allen, but you're betting on an extremely high ceiling. The Bills bless their patience couldn't even fathom the pot of gold they fell into.

And you're banking on that being his ceiling which is a 120 ft floor ceiling because if we're being honest the Bills got extremely lucky. This Josh Allen wasn't even a thing until year 3 to year 4.

Obviously the colts aren't a QB away, but I would mortgage our possible top 5 pick, second, both thirds, and our first next year to get to 2. Gotta get either Young or Stroud. I get we still have to fix LT (hopefully Raimann continues to start and get better) and other areas on the line, but those are easier to fill in FA. We need our franchise QB

You think Irsay is that involved that's he's like Jerry Jones? I'm sure Ballard discusses things with Irsay, but it's his decision at the end of the day. I have a hard time imagining Irsay needing to sign off on everything Ballard does.

I can see Irsay getting impatient with both Ballard and Reich honestly especially with all these band-aid QBs. I'm not gonna mention moving up for Tua or Herbert because we don't know if he tried and it takes two to tango, but it wouldn't surprise me if Irsay holds that against Ballard for not making an aggressive move. Stafford is another example. Rumors are the deal was at the 11th hour. So much so that Stafford and his wife were looking for homes and the Rams basically ramped up the price and Ballard pulled out.
