  1. It's not that deep with me, I think you are one of the best posters here. Apparently when I call you one of the best here, you just ignore it and just see that I don't want to be wrong. In my book we are good, I am not even upset over this. I did get a headache skimming through all the threads I created though
  2. Brewers' fans = the worst fans in the league. Too bad you had your little window from 2018-2023 to get that Ring, you whiney babies! Couldn't do it. Cubs = 2016 World Champs and we are about to run away with the Division here in 2024. Pirates are coming back down to earth, Reds are good but not better than the Cubs, and the Cards are average. Time for a Belly Bomb like yesterday
  3. NL Central Standings as of April 18th: 1. Brewers 11-6 2. Cubs 11-7 3. Pirates 11-8 4. Reds 9-9 5. Cards 9-10 Cubs only a half game out of 1st, Brewers better celebrate now because their little sweet reign over the division is about to come to an end.
  4. Doyle is a disrespecting hater. I can't stand the guy. Then he picks on perhaps the greatest women's player of all-time. He should be fired from his job. To your post, this is going to be very fun, I will watch.
  5. Gregg Doyle is the biggest punk in our media. He once bragged that he boxes and knocks people out on the Bowen show. He never has anything positive to say about the Colts either. He always bashes them. Give me 3 months to train and put him in the ring with me, I would relish it at 52. I am coming in as a heavy WT over 200 pound, forget 180/190. -to act like a bozo toward Clark like that really makes my skin crawl.
  6. Fair post because Williams could even be a bust. I don't trust him. If I had a choice between Williams and AR, I am taking AR.
  7. This QB draft class is a lot better than the 2022 class, that class was bad. Last year's QB class was ok and I think Stroud and Richardson will have the best career's. This one here has a lot more talent than 2022, it is just a matter of who guesses right or wrong. Daniels can run and pass, he is dangerous. Penix can run a pro level type offense, Williams is loaded with talent.
  8. One thing I have never done is meet Peyton Manning. I have been to around 50 home games during my Fandom from 1987-2013 regarding going to games. I met Jim Harbaugh and got his autograph when I went to the Chargers game in 1996. He chatted with me for around 2 or 3 minutes. Called me Bud over and over and was so nice and he kept smiling at my mom . I was only 25 then. Just going to the Masters alone had to be a treat but talking to Peyton had to be the cherry on top. Great stuff man.
  9. I voted Williams because of his talent and if Chicago doesn't pick him and he becomes great, they will go down as the team that had the guy and blew it again. I honestly am not sold on Williams being great though. My dark horse best QB is Penix. My bust pick is McCarthy. He is Mac Jones.
  10. I do have recollection of it, read my posts above. I never Said you were wrong regarding what I posted but I never created a thread saying he was coming back. I am also sure it was before we signed Wentz when I said he was coming back - which you jumped all over. Time flies. I am not even sure why you started this nonsense? I got a head ache trying to find my old posts and posts I created to make sure I was sane. Word of advice, you can take this how you want but quit starting stuff with people that is unnecessary. I say that as a friend because as a poster you are one of the best in here. Calling me out is fine but over something I said 3 years ago is unexpected. I did say what you said but it wasn't last year. I Need a drink and people wonder why I drink. I can't even come here and have fun to escape the real world. This place is a head ache.
  11. Choosing just 4 is tough because George McGinnis who won a State Championship in 1969 at Washington High School here in Indianapolis and he won 2 ABA Championships with the Pacers in the ABA on top of it could easily make this list. My Father graduated from Washington in 1969 as well and told me when I was around 9 or 10 that McGinnis was the greatest player he ever seen period.
  12. Nice Rod Woodson. Can't say you are wrong. Standout player at Purdue and a Hall of Famer in the NFL. A lot of people don't like Bob Knight so I get it. One of my best friends doesn't have Knight on it either. He has Jeff Gordon instead because of racing (this is a racing state) and Gordon going to high school here, growing up here and dominating the Brick Yard 400 in NasCar.
  13. I made my call to Ballard. I told him we should take a Guard at 15. He asks why, I said just pee everyone off in here. He said well do 2006.
  14. I can't believe LeBron is still this great. He is a walking TDB machine; AD is a monster on the Boards and his defense is relentless. If you believe in conspiracy theories here is the best one: = The league wants LeBron to end up with more Championships than Steph, it 4-4 right now. The league and media want LeBron to tie Magic and Kobe with 5 rings so he can be more legit in the GOAT argument with Jordan who has 6.
  15. I have a sick feeling, the Lakers may win this somehow. They are killing everyone over the last 3 weeks. Pacers did beat them recently though . The only other 2 games they lost was because AD and LeBron sat out vs the Wolves and Warriors. Denver has owned them and Coach Malone says his team owns them, I heard AD talking today and he said he wants major revenge. That is all, he and LeBron talked about in the off season was playing Denver again.
  16. I will do my re-parings once the playin games are over. That is what we are doing at work too. This playin has been wild, @Yoshinatorhow do you feel about taking on a Lakers team that didn't try to avoid you? AD and Lebron are both healthy too, does that scare you? The Lakers have now quietly won 12 of 15 games to end the season + the playin win.
  17. My Mt Rushmore for sports figures in Indiana are: 1. Peyton Manning - Played from 1998-2010 seasons. Won a SB, went to 2 SB's, won 4 League MVP's while here in Indianapolis. 2. Reggie Miller - Was a Pacer from the 1988-2005 seasons. He got us to the Finals in 2000 where we played the Lakers in 6 tough games. We also went to 6 Eastern Conference Finals with him leading the way = 1994, 1995, 1998, 1999, 2000Finals, 2004. He is also in the NBA Hall of Fame. 3. Bobby Knight - Was Head Coach of the IU Hoosiers from 1972-2000 seasons. He won 3 National Championships = 1976, 1981, and 1987. The 1976 team went undefeated at 32-0. He also went to another Final 4 in 1992. 4. Larry Bird - Had a bigger impact on the Boston Celtics as an NBA player but here in Indiana, he led Indiana St to the Final game of the NCAA Tournament in 1979 and he was born here in Indiana. He was also a great Head Coach for the Pacers from 1998-2000. Getting the Pacers to the Finals in 2000. Lets say Caitlan Clark wins 3 or 4 WNBA Championships here in Indianapolis, she will be knocking on this door!
  18. Pacers have a team again. I like our chances of going deep this year. Problem with the Pacers is, every time we get contending teams, key players want to leave for greener pastures. We are too cheap to pay our great players. At least with the WNBA, I don't have to worry about that with Clark (money is no issue) + she is a Midwest girl, played in Iowa.
  19. Yeah, I remember she used a smaller ball because Kenny Smith brought it up. Clark would not though IMO. Would Clark beat Steph on Steph's best day, no, but I believe Clark could finish in the top 5 in a 3-point contest on most days.
  20. Steph beat Lonescu but she used a smaller ball. WNBA size. Clark would use an NBA ball IMO to prove a point.
  21. That was a different woman, she has a funny last name, can't remember it right of hand. I was thinking Steph might be the only one that beat Clark in a 3point shootout.
