  1. Yeah, AR got up like nothing happened, then played another series. Next we know, he is the tent
  2. People can fan how they want. Having said that, during the game on Sunday people were using the word trash or suck to describe him, He played bad on Sunday but nobody should ever say someone is trash period. Minshew has been far from trash and anyone that thinks otherwise is wrong opinion or not.
  3. I would hope so but that isn't the case with some, look at Sunday's Game Day thread.
  4. Me too, when ARs happened, I didn't even know it happened. He even played after that.
  5. Of course they weren't going to keep him out, it is the Steelers and they are fighting for a playoff spot.
  6. All it takes around here is for Minshew to have 1 bad game and his haters just pile on. Where were the same piling on him now at for the last month when we won 4 in a row. It is not his fault AR got injured and most backup QBs would not have a 5-4 record. AR was technically 2-2. Sam is bad as in Curtis Painter, Dan Orlovsky, Mike Pagel bad. I guess some have never seen him play. Minshew is a lot better than Sam and it's not even debatable. People want Sam because they wanted a higher draft pick. Minshew has pee'd certain people off because they wanted their precious Top 5 pick and wanted us to lose. Too bad, it is about winning and making the playoffs. We have our QB already in AR, tanking is a losers mentality unless you need a franchise QB. Either root for us to win or go watch Andy Griffith or Hogan Hero's they are always on, on Sunday around gametime.
  7. I seen the play Stroud got injured on and it looked a little worse than ARs. The league kept AR out a week, so we will see if there is a double standard for Stroud since he is in a playoff race. If they kept AR out for his, then Stroud should be out. ARs didn't even look that bad to me.
  8. Penix deserved Heisman. He ran a pro-style offense beautifully, put up great numbers in crunch time and he beat 5 teams ranked in the top 20, including Oregon twice. Your opinion is your opinion but imo Penix got screwed. I guess winning means nothing to that voting panel. As far as Williams goes, I watched most of his games this year and I watched Penix all year too. Unlike most people I pay attention to what goes on West. Penix looked better to me. Penix reminds me of Stroud.
  9. AR will have some great moments next year. I can't wait. I see no reason why AR won't be good unless he gets a serious injury. These highlights alone show he played good.
  10. Bradley's defense is one thing that has drove me nuts all year. One week we look fantastic, and his D is great, then the next week we stink. It is enough to drive anyone up the wall. You never know week to week how our D is going to perform. Scary.
  11. If Rivers had played in 2021 with the way JT was running the ball and Leonard was creating Turnovers, who knows how far this team may have gone. Wentz held us back in many games in 2021, the last 2 games were a disaster with Wentz and even in wins vs the Pats, Wentz was bad - that was all Taylor and the defense in that win. I think in 2021, we would have went 12-5 with Rivers and we may have snagged that #1 seed. Rivers, IMO, is a Top 25 QB of all-time and he belongs in the Hall of Fame. Reasons why he never won an MVP or a SB is because he had Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, and Ben Roethlisberger in the same conference for most of his career. Give Rivers, Ben's D in 2008, Rivers would have a SB win.
  12. I was going to say that too but I figured I would get buried in here for saying so. To me by my eye test, only Tom, Montana, and Peyton have played the position better. Mahomes is exciting to watch and he is great. Aaron Rodgers is my 1b. To me Aaron is a top 10 QB of all-time.
  13. So far I know my Thursday Night and Saturday picks. I have to wait a few days to see about Sunday and Monday Night. It is because of injuries to certain teams. I am studying more this week with my football picks magazine, studying the strategies . My picks so far: Chargers 17 Raiders 21 Vikings 13 Bengals 20 Steelers 19 Colts 20 Broncos 23 Lions 24 So far no copying lol. I have 2 different from @chad72 and 1 different from @EasyE. Once I decide who to pick on Sunday and Monday Night, I will quote these picks to that post.
  14. That win over Tennessee in Tennessee is even bigger now since they won last night. Both teams could have been 6-7. Luckily we are 7-6 and they are 5-8. That game was a 2 game swing.
  15. I am fine with it. I had the Ravens winning it all as well. You may hit on both Ravens and Cowboys.
  16. That's cool and it sounds like it has worked for you. It would be cool seeing the same people once a week that sit around you. A nice little bond.
  17. Yeah, a part of me smiled when Levis put together that game winning drive. I have been tough on the kid but he had a great moment last night.
  18. I thought Levis played great when it counted. See I am fair and I don't say someone played bad just to being saying it without facts or because i don't like them. If someone plays bad I say so and have facts to back it up. if someone plays great I say so as well. Hats off to Levis tonight. It is pretty obvious to anyone that has watched football for 20/30/40 years who plays bad, average, good, or great. Some in here just like to argue for no reason. I guess this also means we beat a decent team when we beat Tennessee. I am actually shocked they are 5-8, but I will take it lol.
  19. I created a new thread, 49ers play at Cards, Ravens are at Jacks.
  20. Week 15 schedule: Thursday night Chargers at Raiders Saturday Vikings at Bengals Steelers at Colts Broncos at Lions Sunday Bears at Browns Bucs at Packers Texans at Titans Jets at Dolphins Chiefs at Pats Giants at Saints Falcons at Panthers Commanders at Rams 49ers at Cards Cowboys at Bills Ravens at Jags Monday night Eagles at Seahawks 16 games this week, it gets serious now. No BYE's for any team.
  21. I had a bad week as many in here did. Everyone lost both Monday Nights games . Here are the standings through Week 14: Leaderboard 1. @2006Coltsbestever133-75 1. @chad72133-75 2. @EasyE131-77 3. @Moe130-78 4. @Chrisaaron1023126-82 4. @VikingsFanInChennai126-82 5. @w87r125-83 6. @RollerColt123-85 7. @coltsva119-89 Honorable Mention: @Solid84107-69 (missed 1st 2 weeks = 0-32) 107-101 in total.
  22. I honestly don't buy into their Head Coach who gets a ton of hype as being great and a funny dude. He got outcoached badly tonight and had a 14-point lead and blew it. With that offense, he went conservative and kept Hill on the bench a bunch which was puzzling. Hill hurt his ankle but still could play and wanted too. That last series of downs that Miami ran was grade school poop. They deserve to lose. Nice job by Will Levis he played great when it counted.
  23. Ok, this is what I would call a great game by Levis, basically great 2nd half. Kid showed heart, took hits, and had some great passes in crunch time when it mattered. Great signature win for him. It is his night, Proud of the kid. At least I know when I see a great game, his 4th Qtr was beautiful football.
  24. Levis hasn't played bad, so I will leave it alone. If can win this game it would be great for his rookie resume. I would praise him if he beats a team like that.
