  1. Every game matters because of tie breakers. I don't think we will win out, but we need at least 2 of the 3.
  2. A lot of it is system and coaching and the talent around a QB. There has been 100's of QB's that have never got a chance because they were overlooked, and scouts and GM's have just said you don't have what it takes. I am sure there have been plenty of diamonds in the rough that have been missed. Kurt Warner is the greatest example. Had Trent Green not got injured, nobody probably would even know who he is. He went from bagging groceries to winning a SB in 1 season and making the Hall of Fame.
  3. How anyone can say this guy is trash or doesn't belong in the league needs a reality check. Leadership goes a long way and he has it. His work ethic is solid too. Overall for this season, he clearly has been above average for us on a scale of bad, below average, average, above average, good, very good, great. He is inconsistent and sloppy at times but he also helps win enough games too offset that.
  4. Winning that game in Tennessee in OT, sort of offsets the Browns loss because they had ball in hand in OT and could have easily beat us. We stole one there
  5. I just hope that Browns game doesn't come back to bite us. Had we not gotten cheated out of that game, we would be leading the AFC South right now at 9-5. We have won a lot of close games so things kind of even out, but that loss still has my stomach sour.
  6. Not making the playoffs at this point would be disappointing, I agree. Also it really hasn't been a lost year for AR either. He played in 5 games and learned a lot from playing and looked good at times + he is learning a lot now by watching. He should be ready to come in next season to be a good QB.
  7. You can say that about even the QBs that are considered Elite are a Rollercoaster ride. Look at Josh Allen for example week to week, you never know what you are going to get from him. There really hasn't been a QB this year that hasn't played badly in a few games. Even Mahomes has.
  8. This will be a fun day. We won so now we can relax and see if we get any help. Games of interest: Texans at Titans Bears at Browns Cowboys at Bills Go Titans, Bears, and Cowboys.
  9. We have exercised a lot of demons this year. We have beat the Pats and Steelers in the same season. We swept Tennessee, and won at Baltimore. We have beat a lot of past rivals. This has been a satisfying season so far. I think just making the playoffs would cap it off. Maybe we can have a run like 1995, who knows?
  10. There is a handful of people that think he sucks and they repeat it over and over during games on the game thread. Then when we win, those few disappear. At least you are here and admitting he can play well.
  11. We need Taylor back to beat anyone that is real good. Moss is a good RB, but isn't on Taylor's level. Last 4 weeks, Moss hasn't really been that good. He looks worn down to me, and now he is injured. He was fresh to begin the season hence the 3 or 4 great games and he was fresh at Baltimore. Taylor has proven he can carry the team for a whole season = 2021. Our backup RB's played well enough today but Don't expect next week.
  12. Painter was worse. Trubisky while bad, actually had a season where he went 12-4 with the Bears.
  13. We were too and they still had Lamar at 100% and were at home.
  14. I am 4-0 so far. I still wished the Vikings would have won. Sometimes you have to pick with your brain not your heart.
  15. Pretty well put. All 3 were sweet. Ravens definitely the best team we have beat.
  16. + we beat the hated Steelers. Biggest win of the season. We needed this one.
  17. No matter what happens tomorrow we can't drop below 7. That is good. As long as we stay in that top 7, we are good.
  18. Me too, teams fighting for a playoff spot, will make us do strange things. Like root for a team you hate if it helps us.
  19. I know what he brings to the table. He is without a doubt the best back up in the league and I will stick by what I said 3 weeks ago, he could become a full-time starter for a few teams. Would I rather have AR, of course but we can only play the hand we are dealt.
  20. Not sure what is going on there. I hope he gets it right whatever is wrong. There is going to be a game where we need him to win a game I am sure. We need Denver to lose.
