  1. Philly has a good roster and franchise QB as well. Something is off with them right now though. Not sure what it is. Maybe losing Shane has hurt them a tad.
  2. Can't wait to see what he does with AR for a full season. That should be entertaining.
  3. SF IMO has the better roster but not the better QB, but you make a great point. Ravens have a damn good roster. The Colts roster is better than what some make of it. We have holes but strengths as well.
  4. That could be, so it is all hypothetical . Moss and Sermon have looked good at times. Moss was great in the 1st 5 games.
  5. Actually that stat is pretty mind blowing. I will take it too.
  6. I love Minshew but for him to say Minshew won those games is a bit of stretch. Minshew held onto the lead for a half in each game - didn't mess it up. We were ahead when AR was in both games. I said no as well but our schedule is easier than the Ravens.
  7. Probably not but Lamar with Taylor and Moss and Pittman and Downs + a Line that has played good this year would have had us around 12 or 13 wins. JMO. You have to factor in the schedule we have had too. Lamar would have had an easy time in our division compared to playing in the North. I don't think Lamar gets swept by the Jags and that alone is crucial.
  8. Looking like it now but I was just thinking 'what if'. Having said that I am happy with Minshew and the future of what AR can bring to the table.
  9. Oh yeah, because of Lamar's contract things would have been different roster wise but he is going to win MVP this year IMO.
  10. There are many picking Houston to win this game on Saturday in the media = CBS radio, NFL Network, ESPN, etc.. Colts are currently a 1-point favorite, so it is a tossup in a sense. I think most outside of Indiana still are not buying into Minshew winning a huge game of the magnitude and most are in awe of Stroud's play as a rookie.
  11. Yep, I remember you and I were pounding the table for Lamar before the season and many were saying hard pass, or he would get injured, etc.. #1 - I knew Lamar had a lot to prove, #2 - I thought he was a top 5-7 QB in the league before the season. If we had Lamar on this team, we would be the #1 seed IMO and would be the one probably 13-3 instead of Baltimore.
  12. The 2005 team should have won the SB. To me 2006 were the better team because they filled 2 key positions and made them better = FG Kicker and DT. Vinatieri and McFarland made a world of difference in the playoffs compared to what we had in 2005. Without Vinatieri, we may have lost to the Ravens. McFarland was the fat body we needed to stop the run and help Freeney and Mathis out. Bob Sanders was a better player too in 2006. We weren't blowing teams out in 2006 like we were in 2005 but the 2006 team knew how to win (more experienced) after losing from 2003-2005.
  13. AR is 2-2 as a starter. He has won 2 games. He started the Texans and Titans game, and we even had the lead before he left with injury. He played the whole game vs the Rams and almost pulled that one out, we lost in OT. Minshew is a great backup and is proving to be an above average starter so not sure if we would be 9-7 with AR. My guess is, about the same with AR = 9-7. IMO, AR would have beat the Panthers, beat the Titans at Tennessee, beat the Pats, Steelers, and Raiders like Minshew has.
  14. As of now I am going to disagree with @chad72on 6 games - door is wide open for him, but regarding @Moe, I only disagree with him on 1 game. That will still give him the opportunity to switch a pick even 2 picks if he wants to catch me. It looks like Moe is using the method I am using. I go by what Caesars Sportsbook says a lot besides eye test and I have also done research on who is playing and who is sitting and what teams have to play for. I will do my picks and explain why I am picking who I am picking. Steelers 23 Ravens 16 - Steelers are still playing for a playoff berth and the Ravens look like they are sitting most of their starters as they are locked in to the #1 spot. Texans 22 Colts 23 - I can't pick against Indy, I know @EasyEwill though so that will be 1 different right there between him and I. Browns 17 Bengals 24 - Bengals are favored by 5. Reason why is, looks like the Browns are sitting most of their starters. They are already in the playoffs. Vikings 16 Lions 30 - Lions still can get a #2 seed. Jags 27 Titans 17 - Jags need to win to win the AFC South and Lawrence should be back. Jets 17 Pats 20 - Possibly last game for Belichick there, they will win. Falcons 20 Saints 27 - Saints still could win their division with a Bucs loss. Bucs 26 Panthers 10 - With a win, Bucs win their division. Bears 19 Packers 20 - A win clinches a playoff spot for GB. Broncos 20 Raiders 23 - Raiders are simply better and Pierce wants that full-time gig. Eagles 26 Giants 20 - Eagles need a win to win their division. Seahawks 24 Cards 23 - Packers play at the same time so a Seahawks win, and a Packers loss would put the Seahawks in the playoffs. Chiefs 13 Chargers 20 - Chiefs are locked in at the #3 spot and as of now Mahomes is sitting. As of now the Chargers are favored. Rams 17 49ers 20 - Rams have already clinched a playoff spot, both teams are playing for nothing but since the 49ers are at home, I will pick them. Cowboys 31 Commanders 6 - If the Eagles lose and Cowboys win, Cowboys win their division + the Commanders stink! Eagles and Cowboys play at the same time = 425PM est. Bills 31 Dolphins 23 - Bills are just much better right now. Dolphins are a little banged up, Bills win their division. I may still change a pick or 2 if I find out different things with some teams late in the week. I am playing it safe with Moe but it is also because I just agree with him on almost every damn pick. Chad is a gambling man, 6 different. This will be entertaining.
  15. They were booing Bryce Harper during the NLCS.
  16. I had Michigan and Washington both winning. Michael Penix is the best QB in college football, I have been saying it all season. He throws dimes in a pro-style offense. All anyone talks about is Caleb Williams and Drake Maye. Penix is better than both and people will see that next year. Penix not winning Heisman was a big rip off as well.
  17. Nobody would disagree there. I love different views. It's the way the views are presented. It can become trolling after a while when people are constantly negative or trashing the same guy every day or even rooting for the team to lose. There is a difference between disagreeing with someone and trolling. People have common sense to know the difference, so they know what they are doing.
  18. I got more satisfaction out of beating the Pats, but I think we would have beat anyone that season.
  19. I have no problem with him not liking Ballard, I am sure most don't. It's the fact he has said it like 1000 times so after a while it gets old. We know how he feels but he keeps going. Everyone knew how he felt 2 years ago. Having different views is great, that everyone's right but to repeat the same stuff over and over and only come here after losses is comical. I was actually shocked to see him because we won.
  20. Wear a Tom Brady jersey, that might change
  21. In our first meeting AR was outplaying Stroud before he went out, many forget that for some reason, and we won the game easily even with Minshew playing the whole 2nd half.
