Grigson will get bashed for a bad draft. (even if it's not)
-
I would rather have quality than quantity, that said, I would rather trade up than trade down, however, it depends on how the draft shakes out and who is left.
-
7 wins because of the quality of the division, not on the merit of the roster?
lol, it was sarcasm. The only way I would want Foles would be for a backup.
-
Colts trade for Nick Foles tomorrow and your forced to bet everything you own on whether or not the Colts break 7 wins. You taking the over?
Oh yeah, 7 wins easy. Just because of the "weak" divison that you are always saying we are in.
-
It would not have made any difference if Grigson was foolish enough to prefer RG3, he did not make the pick; Irsay did.
Thank's for the reminder ! And didn't Manning also suggest we draft him ?
-
Only a fool would have taken RG3 first
I agree !! But there was a lot of people saying RG3 was better before the draft and even after the rookie year. I am glad Grigson wasn't the fool.
-
Credit to him for being the GM who had the #1 pick when Luck was available.
More credit for taking Luck over RG3.

well cole and mathis arent young and werner hasnt proven he can be an effective pass rusher.
True, but I like Newsome as well. I think Werner would be better off backing up Walden and eventually taking over the starting spot.
-
As long as we get good football players, I really dont care what round we get them.
-
-
Sure wouldn't hurt anything to bring him into camp and compete.
-
Good valid observations. Chuck is an average-ish Head Coach.
The Colts need one of those top no-nonsense head coaches to get to the SB and win it.
I don't expect we can win the SB this year with Pagano.
And who are these coaches ? How many times have they beat the Hoodie and won the super Bowl ? and why are they available?
-
Werner: I think he's been a huge disappointment as a first round pick. I think this pick was a big mistake. I didn't like it when it happened and I still don't like it. Werner has shown some improvement, but I don't think he is where a former first round pick should be.
Thornton: Decent (but not great) when he plays, but can't stay healthy.
Holmes: Same as Thornton
Hughes: Pagano hyped up this guy like he was the second coming of Reggie White. I think he said something like Hughes moves as quickly at Haloti Ngata and is as fast as guys 100 lbs lighter. The hype on Hughes was really high, but I think he's failed to live up to it. I haven't been that impressed with his play on the field.
Boyett:
Williams: Played decently well for Arizona last year
Cunningham: Not on the Colts
I understand that all GMs miss more than they hit, but I don't see a single reliable player in this group. Werner is the closest, but he was scratched for the playoff game against the Pats. When your super-hyped up first round pick (who "beats you with his want-to", according to Grigson) is a healthy scratch for the most important game your franchise has had in 4 years, that's a problem.
Werner, IMO is best suited for setting the edge, he was pushed into Rush due to injury's.
Thornton, I agree...But, when drafting, you can not predict future injury's.
Holmes, I agree, but thought he did well when finally started.
Hughes, got a lot of playing time, didn't suck, will get better
the other 3 don't matter today.
-
Agreed. I'm still a little unsure about some of the free agents we've signed because of their ages. He also needs to have a really good draft. If he has another poor draft like he did in 2013 and our free agents don't contribute much, it might be time to look at someone else for the GM spot.
4 of the 7 2013 class are still on the roster with some starting.
-
I forget...after the rebuild, how many years was it before we "start" to challenge for the AFC South title ?
-
I think this "make or break" stuff is ridiculous ! And just who would take over ? Chud ? Pagano will get better as a HC ! give him more than just a few 11-5 seasons. Even the great Hoodie went 36-44 with his first HC job with the Browns.
-
Bad gif formatting, for whatever reason, but I know the play you're talking about. You're right.
He also had a 45 yard TD. 15 carries for 219 and 3 TD's. As for the link...click the carl davis highlights and it will show the vid. looks to me that coleman is always falling forward, I would be happy to have him as a Colt.
-
ACL. That's what Pagano said.
I have read it both ways on several different articles, maybe I will send it in to the Colts mailbag and get clarification for us all.
-
Says ACL injury puts him behind though.
partially torn MCL.

this one says,severely sprained MCL

What is the truth ??

1.BPA
2.BPA
3.BPA
With all that said, the BPA at 29 will be Malcom Brown.
-
defensive end Jamaal Anderson.
safety, Joe Young - who you might recognize better as Joe Lefeged.
fullback Dan Moore
offensive lineman Jack Breckner
cornerback Keon Lyn
linebacker Scott Lutrus
Caesar Rayford was also there.
-
Toler has become the most overrated player we have. He's a liability. He's too handsy, and he gives up big plays.
NO,that would be Cribbs or Trich.
