  1. Latest mock. I think we pick at 20-21, so a bit earlier than most years.

    1. Emmanuel Ogbah, DE/OLB Oklahoma State

    2. Jason Spriggs, OT Indiana

    3. Jeremy Cash, S Duke

    4. Ryan Kelly, C Alabama

    5. James Connor, RB Pitt

    7. Noah Spence, OLB Eastern Kentucky

I like Ogbah as a future star at OLB. He may fall because of other guys rising like Floyd and Jenkins.

I like the Spriggs pick !!!

  2. Walden is the most underrated player on the team IMO but I think Whalen is a close second. He does what is asked, he doesn't fumble or usually do anything stupid. He's also better at returning kicks and punts than people give him credit for IMO. He's not a burner but he has decent vision (look at his return against Houston) He rarely drops a pass when he's in on offense. What are everybody's thoughts on him?

I like Griff, BUT, didn't he lose his return duties last year because of fumbles ?

  3. What are the chances Luck takes a hike at the end of his contract? Peyton and Brady are both approaching retirement. I can see both teams dangling a big contract, past and current successes and solid organizations in front of him and his agent. I'm not sure if in the same position I wouldn't give huge consideration to offers from well coached and managed teams. Everybody is going to offer him big bucks so it may come down to intangibles like solid offensive line play, top ten defense, and smart management that sways his decision. Would you want to spend your life being the next David Carr if you could make the same money under more enjoyable circumstances? I wouldn't.

Colts have the 5th year option, Luck is going nowhere else !

  4. I enjoyed your little rant, but I have one objection. I love what Ballard gave us in 12 but people want to revise history.

You can call it Buckeye bias but Boom has done much better than Ballard, why do you think Ballard should be #2?

Ballard's longest career run was for 26 yards, he averaged less than 4ypc. Compare that with Boom's.

Most importantly, Herron can stay on the field.

yes boom can stay on the field....but, can he hold on to the ball ? That has been my only knock on Boom. Other than the fumbles, i think boom is a nice change of pace back that can catch out of the backfield and pick up yards !

  5. yes, that's why his record was mediocre in Cleveland. Given the circumstances he did a fine job. He later got a franchise QB, a stable franchise with a solid owner and has won 4 Super Bowls. It's not rocket science.

I'll buy that !! but he also went to a team that was already playoff ready, Pagano came to the (then) worst team in the NFL and has a record of 36-18 (including playoffs) also not rocket science.

  6. BB was almost .500 with crap quarterbacks, a lousy owner, and a franchise move hanging over his head.

And ??? is that why he was losing ?? Not trying to pick a fight, just wondering why a lot of people want to throw Pagano under the bus when all he has done is lead us to 11 win seasons every year (yes..props to bruce the first year). I think we need to let Pagano grow as a head coach, he is learning just like all rookies do.

  7. He is who I thought he was, Tough hard-nosed receiver with a good set of hands, If not for his size would have been a 1st round pick I believe, I think he is going to develop just like Golden Tate did and make a good replacement but that's probably a couple years away

Dennis Green ??? is that you ???
