  1. Reggie!!! Was amazing! Ón another note How is griff whalen? Can he be back this season?

I don't know all the details in this rule, but I think a team can bring one player back off the IR list. From what I seen from him in pre-season I think he could fill the slot like Collie did. Well, just read that Olsen was put on IR and he will be the one that comes off the list.http://blogs.colts.com/2012/10/08/indianapolis-colts-make-roster-moves-5/

  2. Guys..I know anybody can beat anybody anytime

But arent you encouraged by Sunday....

after Sunday, I dont think they cannot win the games I outlined here

I agree with your picks, but I think we could also get a win against Detroit and if Houston has the division wrapped up we might steal the last game from them !

  3. It's an idea.

OLB responsibilities are different in the 3-4 vs. 4-3, so If you still want Mathis/Hughes applying pressure it would be like running a 6-1 more than a true 4-3... That would get torched.

I think it will remain some form of hybrid, and that they will pick up a NT when one is cut.. It could end up being someone like Casey Hampton with only a year or so left in the tank...

The waiver wire could be more interesting than the draft.

I was thinking the same thing about the wavier wire. I don't see the FO getting much sleep, they will be going over it with a fine tooth comb. Will be interesting to see what the final roster will look like.

It will vary from game to game. There will be games that the staff thinks throwing the ball will be the right way to go. There was a game vs. Green Bay in 2004, that if my memory serves me correctly Manning had thrown 14-16 passes before Edge had his first carry. Of course that was shootout, but in the 1st quarter they came out firing.

There will be games that they feel they can run the ball against a certain team and the passes will likely be lower in those games. If there is a large lead, they might be forced into a 50/50 ratio based on how well they can run the ball vs. a short passing game to move the chains to run out the clock.

35 attempts a game might be a fair target, though over the past 6 seasons that number was exceeded 68% of the time.

It will take some time to get any form of a pattern on Arians/Pagano, and even then it will be a bit distorted since the QB is a rookie.

True !! the ratio will be determined by whatever look Luck see's the defense giving him.

  5. T.Y.Hilton or Lavon Brazill, from their scouting reports, are not blocking WRs of any kind, just speedsters. When we had Garcon in a 3 WR formation, we could still run a running play with Garcon's side getting better blocking than the side of the other WRs.

Now, if we have 3 WR, 1 TE formations, it is almost an automatic guess that we are passing. Yes, Collie and Wayne are willing blockers but not as good as Garcon was.

Does that matter? Will we make up for it with more 2 TE formations that we abandoned starting 2007 and went away from it? The 2 TE formations give us more possibilities, IMO, so will we see more of it than 3 WR, 1 TE formations?

    Thoughts???

I would expect to see a lot of 2 TE sets, I think Fleener and Allen will be similar to what we had with Dilger and Pollard, of course we will have to wait until they actually play an NFL game to find out, but, I can't wait to see it !!!!

  6. I wish he was bigger (weight), but I have not read one bad evaluation of the guy, other than his ability to rush the passer, which, frankly, I don't care if the Colts NT does exceptionally well or not. That just isn't a priority to me. There have to be six or seven players I would love to see taken at 34.

he can bulk up, but like I said we need help everywhere, and Yes there are 6,7 or more I would also be happy with, we will get a good player regardless of position !!
