Silly Halloween skit. But, after watching it several times I find it is quite addictive and I am laughing.

Jules,
That SNL skit about David S. Pumpkins just reinforces the idea that true fright is the element of surprise after a person has been distracted or lulled into a false sense of security. I could see where if a person watches that clip enough it grows on them.
It also reaffirms the point that Halloween is too commercialized now by the mainstream & it doesn't have an underground vibe anymore at all.

So who wins the big Brady vs. Rodgers Super Bowl?

Very busy day for me with other stuff. My back is killing me but I'm working on some important stuff outside hobbies at the moment, but I'll be back Sunday. Probably going to rest all tomorrow since I'm worn out.
The mini Brett Favre came in the mail. I'll have photos later when I have time to do stuff.

Song to help kick off the NBA playoffs. Yes don't laugh........it's New Kids on the Block, but for a reason. This boy band was from Boston and wrote this with the old Celtics in mind who won everything.

Clippers lose by 2, they are in full playoff form early. I feel bad for Doc Rivers since the Clippers tied the game with 13 seconds and then Utah got a shot to go in at the buzzer. Doc looked heartbroken.
Clippers are just so damn doomed.
I have heard rumors too that Blake Griffin is interested in teams like the Celtics now.
Should be the New Orleans Jazz though.

Ugh this is depressing. Chicago shot lights out in game 1, Isaiah Thomas is a basket case and looks like he has not slept (understandable) and well......it's game 2 or else our Boston dream is likely going to end sooner then we had hoped.
Game 2 is now HUGE.
Nice moment at the end when I saw D Wade talking to Isaiah kindly and asking how he was doing.
If you did not see the Warriors, they struggled with Portland until the 4th quarter and Portland even had a lead once. Anyone who says the Warriors can't be beaten is stupid, they can be beaten......the D is still very iffy.

Starting a new hello fun message here to help you bump down the other crap away from this page.
Some people just want to try to bother people for no reason.
Hows the music coming?

Starting to wonder if the Cubs curse is actually real. But, hey this series isn't over yet. And no I am not a Cubs fan really. I kinda like L.A. teams so I prefer the Dodgers deep down and I want to see if Cleveland can snag another championship this year with the Indians!!!!

Amazing coincidence - Cleveland will be playing their first game in the World Series on the NBA's opening night when the Cavs drop their championship banner.
If I was a Cleveland sports fan, I'd say screw the Browns and never watch another NFL game. No need, when you have the best player of the past decade in basketball playing the top of his career, and managed to deliver his promise of a championship...and you also have the Indians who are great.
Great time to be a Cleveland sports fan while forgetting about throwball.

Still going to try to think positive. Forget this weeks game happened. Next week is a new time.....

Stone Hands Forever. Forever Stone Hands.
Glad to see him gone but it would suck if the Pats make him decent lol.

Sweet Sixteen wins in a row now for the Celtics. Kyrie Irving: 47 points in Dallas.
Crazy game, Mavericks led by Dirk played their butts off to break that streak and damn near did it and lost in OT. Mavs were up 10+ in the 4th.

Dipo I think is a decent closer and becoming that type of guy. Pacers usually just go with the hot hand. Yeah 4 in a row isn't nothing compared to 16 but 16 isn't the norm. Usually when teams win 4 or 5 in a row they play a stinker and lose. Long streaks are rare. I would be surprised if the C's have a streak longer than 7 the rest of the year once this one is over.
-
Talk to everyone next week!!! Going to Boston tomorrow night for a long weekend with my fiance for Pacers/Celtics and Cavs/Celtics. Good times!!!!! Two terrific games on the same weekend is a classic we can't pass up.

The Heat bandwagon just got a big boost. Heat signed Kelly Olynyk to 4 years and 50 million.
Enjoy......Kelly O out and about in the club scene in Miami is going to really make things come alive there. And yes he does party. And he's huge. And stupid. And slightly psychotic.
Although this does help the Heat vs. Cleveland, since they always get rough vs. them.

I think you secretly want to become the Bad Boy Pistons. Not the Knicks.
Honestly, Kelly O outside of his unnatural fascination with Kevin Love isn't really always too bad. He did give a nice thank you note today to Boston too and said thanks for giving a guy from Canada a shot and letting him be a part of their city. I don't feel bad blood with Boston from him right now since he did become a semi cult following star in Boston.
Yes he is from Canada.
He might do well with Miami, Riley seems to be talking him up pretty well so it sounds like you will be seeing him a lot out there. Riley likes his toughness and ability to hold his liquor. (made that part up)
He may fit well with Hassan Whiteside who some claim is dirty too. Heat really are looking like a solid rough defensive group again.......
-
I have a great love for that Bad Boy Pistons team. They straight up broke their opponents physically and mentally, it was fun to watch until the rule change to make them go away.

I read that the Cavs tried to trade Kevin Love in a 3 team trade to Denver.
The chemistry is going to be ruined next year with him in Cleveland IMO.

Well the Celtics "maybe" tried to move Crowder before they did Bradley to free up cap space. Crowder is on a pretty good deal though and a tough defender with size, kinda glad he stayed. It only would have happened with a sign and trade with Utah but I am guessing Gordon Hayward said "Hell to the no" with giving Utah anything the way it sounds. Since the deal only happened if Hayward agreed to sign off to it.
But IT said "everything will be okay" with Crowder/Hayward since Crowder now is behind Hayward in the depth chart.
Since IT is now apparently the spokesperson of the team with "everything will be FINE, we going to the finals man." Yes IT said this, he said "everything will be fine and we are probably heading to the finals". And last year he spoke to the crowd in Boston before the final regular season game and said "We got a big big playoff run coming."
But it's different since with Kevin Love, they pretty much spit on him daily in Cleveland and TP his house nightly. So it's a lot worse........Kevin Love gets the Otto Warmbier treatment by Cavs fans. With the Cavs fans being the DPRK.

The younger Ball sons going to Lithuania is just bizarre. Especially since I am more than half Lithuanian. It's my Ball family karma.
This is nuts.
Oh and btw, sick of the Lakers blowing games they had leads in.

It will be real interesting to see what the Lakers do in the Draft and Free Agency. Magic is about to pull a rabbit out his hat IMO. Something big about take place. I already like the progress that Ingram, Clarkson, and Randle are making too. Ingram had a bad game tonight but has played well most of the season. Lonzo is going to be great IMO, give him another year or 2. He already does a lot of things well.

Heat don't know how to hold onto a good lead. I can't watch them at times since it's painful.
I want the Heat to play Lebron though just for some sort of storyline. Get this team from Canada out.
I might sleep early tonight again anyway, hope the Heat win and the Golden Curry's lose but I doubt that happens again.

This won't be a popular opinion I am about to share among my fanbase but I am going to anyway. I don't think Tom Brady deserves to be suspended 4 games. I think at this point too with the incident happening last January that it's becoming a witch hunt at this point and a bit tiring. I wish the whole thing would just have DIED last season.....I didn't even want to hear about deflate gate again. Frankly I can find it embarrassing since we got CREAMED in that game.
The Patriots lost a first round draft pick and got fined. I am not sure at this point in time Brady needs to be dragged through the mud either since as much as some hate the Pats and Brady lets face it......it's more fun when he plays the game. It's more fun when all of these stars are on the field. I was looking forward to seeing the Pats play in Arizona week 1 and that battle. Now if Brady isn't there it loses it's appeal to me.
And lets be real, it was deflated balls and even Rodgers admitted he likes MORE air in the balls. I get they broke a rule but lets relax at times here. Nobody killed anyone, raped anyone or hurt anyone that badly. I am sorta embarrassed this is still being talked about when we got our butts kicked in the AFC title game.
And thats about all I got for now on this topic. I am not mad or upset over anything but I was hoping this deflate thing would just go away forever. And I am sure Brady will fight this and it's another battle in the media.
I put this here instead of in the threads on the forum since I don't want to be targeted as being as a closet Pats supporter. I am just saying I am tired of this topic and wish it wasn't even still around.

Tonight I saw "Don't breathe" in the theater. Creepy movie and not my usual type, but I strangely enjoyed it. Scary and kinda psychological. What was odd to me was the man in the film eerily reminded me of Jim Irsay in looks in a bizarre way and the movie takes place in Detroit who we play this weekend.

I take that back about Britney's team. They DO know what they're doing, but they just play everything safe. Gone are the days of her really pushing the boundaries with stuff like the Womanizer video (what the original Make Me video had similarities to). They just go the safe route and for an easy pay check. Vegas gigs for someone of her caliber is an easy paycheck.
Most Britney fans were mad as hell back in 2015 when PoM was extended to February of 2017.

Trippy new forum. Like whoa man.

Want to wish the forum a very Merry Christmas. I won't be on the forums active until Christmas is over next week since I have relatives coming out who will be keeping my hands full this weekend starting soon lol. Some of them are cool, but some are a load to handle lol.
Between work, my family and my boyfriend (soon to be fiance, rumor is *winks* ) I have my hands full this long weekend!!!
Have a great Christmas and holiday weekend everyone!!!!!!!!!

Thanks guys, was checking in before I went to bed. Merry Christmas to you guys as well and have a wonderful weekend!!!!
The Colts might be in a rough year but we still got each other and bright times are ahead again for next year, count on it.
QuoteLakers just ended the Rockets 14 game winning streak at Houston. Kuzma had 38 Points. Lonzo 16 Points, 9 Rebounds, 4 Assists. Merry Christmas Jules!
And there you have it!!!!! Finally the Lakers got "the win" they needed and I been waiting for. Just in time too. Lonzo gets an extra present in his stocking now.
Merry Christmas Lakers Nation and Kobe .

Was watching Pats/Panthers. Cam Newton looked horrible. And so does Jimmy G aka "the backup for 4 games". The Pats offense got going when Brady went in there at the end of the first and zipped down the field fast. I am not sure why they put Brady in since I would think the backup needed all the work he can get against starters?
What a tough season to pick teams, I don't want to get influenced by preseason either.......
I never have had such a tough offseason trying to pick SB teams LOL.

Luck looks healthy enough and he can still play. I would just let the line work itself out in the 4th game with a backup.
I know the D is going to suck until we can get back a few guys like Cro and even Patrick Robinson who I know Bogie hates from the Saints but he is at least a veteran with experience who tries hard.
-
We need Josh Jackson to the Lakers. Read this assessment.
http://www.isportsweb.com/2017/04/27/nba-draft-josh-jackson-assessment-player-comparison/
This guy is a far better player then Lonzo Ball IMO and could end up in Philly or Phoenix.
Sometimes I hate to say it, when I think about Josh Jackson I even prefer him to Fultz at times.
-
When the Lakers lose, stay out of Lakers forums and Lakers social areas online until the next time they win.
It can get frightening and sometimes the random Lonzo Ball haters who hate the Lakers even show up incognito.- Show previous comments 4 more

Lonzo is definitely a throwback at PG, that is what Lakers fans need to realize. I honestly don't think he will ever be a great Scorer but I never did. That isn't his job. His job is to pile up Assists and be the Leader of that team. Rebound well to start fastbreaks, etc.. Yes he needs to score some to keep the opponent honest but 15 a game would be adequate IMO. He isn't a scoring PG like Curry, Westbrook, and Harden are. He is more like CP3, Kidd, Stockton type. Regarding Walton, I really liked him at first and I had him up there with Brad Stevens potential but not sure now. His rotations are puzzling!
-
I agree with everything you said. As for Brad Stevens, he can make his mistakes too. He had Al Horford against Drummond the other night instead of going with Baynes at center. Not a great move since Al doesn't have enough muscle at times, kinda like a tall thin Kevin Love type. He can score but sometimes be pushed around by the monster dudes.
I give Brad Stevens a pass though since they play the Pistons 3 more times and he likes to feel out different line ups a lot in various games for the future. And they might end up seeing them yet again for the playoffs.
Stevens has some puzzling rotations at times too and especially for second units but he often does it to feel out what will work long term as well.
Luke is trying to find what works as well but I don't think they should "bench" Lonzo like they were a few times for the 4th quarter, it won't help his confidence. I won't give up on Luke yet though........he is OK so far and has even defended Lonzo Ball at times.
Sometimes I don't think Luke uses Lopez well though so far.
Oh no........Lakers play the Warriors tonight. *hides* I read Durant/Curry are cleared to play but I don't know if their minutes are cut.
If Lakers lose tonight I hope nobody freaks out on this one. Since it's not a win you should expect by any means. Lakers though IMO should have beaten the Clippers the other night.

Zaza Pachulia is the biggest tool in the NBA. I had totally forgotten about this guy's history, until he took out Leonard. Pops went nuts yesterday in his press conference on Zaza's history and losing his best player which cost them the big lead they had and cost Leonard for game 2.
Warriors still knocking out Leonard, only lose by a whopping few points. Western Champions*. Congrats Durant, you picked a good franchise to chase a ring on.
Now where I remember Baby Zaza? The first round from 2008 when KG and company struggled vs. Atlanta but finally won the series. Worth watching this. When you get KG this mad at you, you know you are a tool.
Zaza was after KG the entire series and finally KG had enough of his crap. The Celtics that year had numerous issues with that guys crap on the court in that series.
The road gets tougher now for the King, not so much since the Cavs can't beat the Celtics with ease and the Warriors but due to the dirty nature of BOTH teams.
Yes and I am looking at you Kelly Olynyk as well. You try any crap with Kevin Love again you won't make it out of Cleveland alive. I know you had a big game 7 shooting the ball but lets not act like you are the new IT boy just yet.
I noticed at times how Kelly Olynyk was even at times in game 7 grabbing the arms of Marcin Gortat of the Wizards a lot.
Lebron has to not put up with any of this crap, period. Even if someone tries something and he gets a technical.......he has to stand up for his guys and himself from now on.
To be fair, the Spurs past was not always innocent and you could even argue it is karma too.
Bruce Bowen was pretty damn dirty himself in the past and says absolutely Zaza did it on purpose.
As usual,
We have to rely on one man to save us.
