  1. 9 wins in a row now for the Celtics. This one dedicated to this guy who closed the deal in a tough game. His best game yet as a Celtic.

Those feisty Hawks. Not sure what it is? They always give a tough game. But the elite defensive streak ended a tiny bit tonight.

Test for 10 wins in a row comes Wednesday night in Boston hosting the Lakers!!!!

  6. Prayers to everyone affected by the Texas Church Shooting

  7. 7 wins in a row for Celtics. :clover: First team in NBA history to win 7 in a row after starting 0-2. They beat the OKC show tonight. Brad Stevens IMO coach of the year so far. He has Kyrie playing at his best now too. :)

I also don't think Boston has been giving up 100 points even in a while.

Thought it looked bad when they lost Hayward, but great coaching keeps things chugging along.....future is bright for this team.

  10. There are two teams that I have followed and been a fan of since my diaper days....one the Colts the other the Yankees.  I know many hate the Yankees but I am proud of them going in to game 7 of the ALCS.  They weren't evern supposed to make the playoffs and the future is bright!  So for all those that hate them....some Damn Yankees!

Shocked the Yankees even made it this far, didn't even know if they would make the playoffs. No shame in losing in 7 to Houston. Upsetting the Indians was probably the biggest shocker to me of the year so far in sports.

Young Yankees team though, some young hitters. That does not always bode well on the road as we saw in this last series. They could never muster much offense in road postseason games it seems but at home went wild.

Didn't think the Yankees could handle the Dodgers anyway so you might have gotten lucky here.

  11. Gordon Hayward, my heart almost literally broke seeing that happen. I waited so long for him and Brad Stevens to unite. And in the first quarter of his Celtics career he goes down with a horrible gruesome injury. Just.......I am shocked.

Like how is this even possible? Why?

    Sigh........

Get well Gordon and heal up. Sadly this happened to one of the good guys too.

I never seen an entire arena so in shock either with both teams and fans.

  20. RIP Tom Petty.....one of my all time faves.  I had seen him play a few times but none was as good as at The Jones Beach Amphitheater in 1985...thunder and lightning coming off the angry Atlantic ocean in his background and after two delays........he just played his heart out in the rain!  He began it with this song...

He officially did die tonight, it was released not long ago.

Sad but it does sound like he tried to hang on as long as he could.

If he isn't dead yet, he sounds pretty close so it's a horrible situation.
