  1. I am feeling the direction and vision Irsay has this offseason.

I am digging the new coaches. I dig that the Polian empire is gone. I dig a certain Elway/Manning compared QB that can be drafted.

I have a hunch right now this whole thing might take as long to develop into a competitive team again as people think either.

The AFC IMO is open for a few teams right now to suprise if only 9-7 is what it may take again for a WC spot at the very least. Heck even the Texans have not shown yet they can win in Indy.

I think this thing could be set up for success for a LONG time.

I trust in Irsay right now.

  2. You guys aren't winning any championships next year. You wont even win the AFC South. I'm not trying to troll just being realistic.

You rise up for 3 or 4 years then you start losing players here and there. Players start getting old and suddenly you are vying for a first draft pick at the end of the year instead of a first round bye. all the while the worst team 5-6 years ago is building up through multiple high picks and winning the division instead of you. Then 6-7 years later you are done building up and suddenly the tables are turned again and they are back to mediocrity. That is just how it is in the NFL.

This is quoted from another post of mine. You gotta deal with the fact that you have almost zero talent on your defense, no running game and your only good WR is going on FA this year. Manning or no Manning 2012 will be another disappointment for the Colts. If you have Luck then what talent will be around him. An awful run game and defense and very few passing targets.

I know one thing. The Texans won't be winning in Indy. As usual. lmao

  3. All I know is after this calander year our kharma is more than good with the football goods for pulling the starters against the Jets!

The Jets also received bad karma. Falling short of last years SB and now missing the playoffs this year. The Jets/Giants traded playoff destiny in that game this year. Eli survived. Eli is our knight in shining armor yet again ready to battle the boys from Boston.

  4. You know whats kinda sad? We all kinda feel/know there is a good chance Peyton is gone. But, we have to wait. And wait.

We may see Peyton at the SB cheering on Eli lovingly and knowing the whole time he might be gone soon from the very stadium.

It's all so odd. Between Peyton missing this season and almost out the door to Eli and Brady (of all people) in the Indy SB.

Football Gods......they got an odd sense of humor.

In return for all this I expect nothing more then a dynasty under Luck now. K, thanks.

  5. Worse thought.

What if he goes to Miami and takes Reggie with him. They COME to Indy next year. That has the makings of a Sunday Night Football game and could get ugly if Luck plays like a rookie.

Yeah Miami kinda has been in my mind too. Let's not get too carried away. Cleary Lucky is gonna beast all over that Dolphins defense.

    Okay I know. I don't expect rookie miracles.......*sigh*

Peyton is gonna kick our * on another team lmao.

  6. The Colts are not taking Griffin. Come on.....*sigh*

They are taking the best prospect since Elway/Peyton.

Luck has some mobility too here folks. He has some Aaron Rodgers in him. He has some Peyton Manning in him. And he has some John Elway in him. Can you tell I am turning into a Luck homer? I watched a lot of his games this year lmao.

Luck is also a great leader and a super smart guy.

And HELLO Luck. Luck-y :blueshoe: It was destiny.

  7. I think it's going to be really hard for Peyton accept and I fully expect him to sign with another team and try to play but if the nerve doesn't come back it's going to be hard. He would be like Chad Pennington. Not much of an arm and having to beat you with his brain. Now with that said Peyton might be able to do that very well.

Rex Ryan: "Tom Brady thinks he is on the level of Peyton Manning. But, he isn't.

  8. I am sure the 49ers are willing to trade draft picks and I am sure Irsay would want PM to go to an NFC team than an AFC rival.

If the 49ers get PM then might as well crown them as next years NFC champions.

Of course we have to see where PM is going to be by draft time and see if he is fully recovered by then.

He will be rusty, but he will be better than an average QB by a mile.

I would not go as far as crowning them the NFC champs. It might be a lot like Favre on the Vikings for all we know in the end. They could still fall short.

The NFC is REALLY competitive in recent years. Not even Manning IMO is going to promise a title.

Besides, can the Niners also repeat this years suprise season? Can they maintain this? Would not suprise me if none of the current final 4 of the NFC make it back next year to the title games.

  9. I talk to a Niners fan on another forum who really doesn't want him. He said it gets talked about but he also said all season to me that getting Peyton would almost make it look like they are trying to buy a title instantly. Makes it seem cheap to him he said.

He does not know what could happen though.

  10. I had a bad feeling last January as soon as the Jets game was over. It just felt "over" to me. And IMO it is over. A new era is on it's way and it could be pretty exciting. Times are changing.

My favorite memory live with Manning was the game in Foxboro in 2006. Colts at Pats. It sounds corny but as soon as I entered that stadium I just "felt" like it was the Colts year. I miss Marvin too looking back at that game, he is one sometimes I don't feel now looking back......gets enough praise.
