  1. I think that's just you. Everyone else seems to agree that (for the moment) Vinny is the GOAT, or at least higher on the list than Tucker, for now. If you're already prepared to elevate Tucker over Vinny, that's fine, that's your opinion. I just (respectfully) disagree. As do most of the other people that have chimed in on this thread. But that's not to say Tucker won't eventually be the GOAT. He is on a team that looks primed for a few SB runs in the near future, so he could have some kicks that are more iconic than Vinny and take the GOAT mantle sooner rather than
  2. You can use whatever facts you want to support your opinion, just like I can use whatever I want to support mine. Vinny doesn't have any bad kicks with nicknames like "Wide Right" that lost a SB. But he does have good kicks with nicknames like "The Snow Kick". Tucker doesn't have ANY kicks with nicknames because his kicks aren't really that memorable. They're just routine. Kinda like Vanderjagts were. Vinny is an icon in NFL history. You can't say that about Tucker right now.
  3. I think this might be the opposite of a point that @Chucklez made in the QB Room thread. They said the QB Room is only as good as the starter. For the RB Room, it really is about the committee as a unit. So while Henry is one of the best starters in the NFL, the 1-2 combo of Mack and Taylor makes a better overall unit.
  4. That's so evil. I love it. But Andrew would never...
  5. Cynthia Frelund of NFL.com has ranked all 32 teams by their "QB Room". If ya'll don't know Ms. Frelund, you should do a little research. She's pretty dang good at her job! Anyway, here's her ranking: https://www.nfl.com/videos/game-theory-ranking-top-players-at-the-qb-position Now, if anyone wants to correct me if I'm wrong, I welcome that with open arms. But it appears that the Colts QB Room comes in at #9, outranking SEVEN (7) QBs that were selected with the #1 overall pick. And every QB room ranked above the Colts (#1-#8) doesn't have a single QB
  6. I'm about to address this in a separate thread, but if there's ever been a year to keep as many QBs as possible on your team "just in case"... it's definitely this year! We may end up needing Rivers, Brissett, Kelly, AND Eason this year....
  7. 2nd Best Post ever! I LOVE positive Jared! Luck retiring wore us all down. I know @csmopar felt very strongly about Luck retiring the way he did, but it is what it is. I think we're all ready to go, and 2020 can go fudge itself! We beat the world champs, in their house no less! If any team is ready to take the crown, it's the COLTS! No cheating, no nonsense. The right guys, the right way, the right time, we're gonna do this.
  8. If Tucker keeps it up until he is 47, and IF his stats are better than Vinny at 47, AND if he ends up with 5+ ... THEN we can talk about Tucker being the GOAT.. OH, and he has to make a kick more iconic, memorable, and deserving of a nickname than "the snow kick", because if you type "the snow kick" into google, guess what the first thing to pop up is?!? ... yeah, that's right... And guess what's second? (say what you want about the Pagano/Grigson era, that game in Buffalo was one of the best things to ever happen in the NFL, there's nothing that comp
  9. She's fair, but she's fickle.
  10. Dude... This was THE BEST post I have ever seen from you. I wish there was a way to use multiple reactions, because I laughed, I cried, I liked, and I thank you for posting this. Every single sentence was perfect. ^This^ is the REAL @Jared Cisneros we all know and love!
  11. I guess that explains some things. And I don't mean that as an insult, I just didn't know that about you. I'm realizing I might have been looking at some of your previous posts over the years in the wrong light. No judgement. Sorry if I ever came across as harsh (or a straight-up donkey) in the past. I just didn't know you as well as I thought I did. I'll try to be more understanding going forward, even when we disagree about something. (maybe @coltsfeva feels the same, I don't know. If I'm not mistaken, there's been some back-and-forth between you two in the past... I mi
  12. Does that include managing a large team of people you're responsible for? Because if it does, I really respect you for that. I've accepted jobs/promotions before where I was the #1 guy managing large groups of people, and I absolutely hated it. It's just too much stress. Constant meetings. Never-ending paperwork. Endless hours. Phone calls at every hour of every day about every little thing from every employee you're in charge of... I guess I'm not a Peyton Manning. I'm more of a role-player. I'm the workhorse-do-everything-RB like Edge that makes Peyt
  13. I really respect Dodds for this. I'm the same way. I prefer being the "number 2" guy as well. It's less stressful than being "the number 1" guy that has to manage absolutely everything. I like being able to focus on my job and have someone above me that deals with all the stress, because when I'm in that #2 position, I know what needs to be done and I can do it to make the #1 guy less stressed, but I don't have to jump through all the hoops the #1 guy does. It's like a symbiotic relationship. It's basically being the "glue guy" that holds everything together, or the
  14. Amen! Yeah Decker seems to have a very unique job that puts him in that "specialist" category. I don't know what his paycheck is like compared to Ballard, but he might prefer to just do what he does best and not have to worry about everything else that piles up on Ballards' plate all the time as an NFL GM. He's like the corporate psychologist that just talks to people and doesn't have to actually "manage" them...
  15. Thanks for posting this. I was happy to rewatch it all in one go after watching each episode as it was posted this offseason. It was a memorable offseason with Covid and the way the draft was conducted. Hopefully Pittman, Taylor and the rest of this class make it memorable for more reasons than the digital draft aspect.
  16. He looks like he’s about to fight a bear while riding shirtless Putin
  17. https://www.nfl.com/news/antonio-brown-suspended-eight-games-nfl-2020-season A team is definitely going to roll the dice on him. The question is which team?
  18. Yeah, I did that to myself when I was looking for a picture of rocky road ice cream to post... Nothin better on these hot summer days!
  19. Jiminy Christmas... here we go with yet ANOTHER Brissett/Kelly thread...
  20. I agree. I think Michael Thomas got a little too much love for breaking Marvs receptions record. Thomas is good, but better than Jones and Nuk? And McCaffrey and Henry are good, but two RBs in the top 10?
  21. If Rock Ya-Sin and Xavier Rhodes are our starting CB duo, and ball out this year, I have a suggestion for a nickname... Rocky Rhodes Throw Kenny in there for Moore Rocky Rhodes!
  22. Ugh, you just made me consider if Luck hadn't decided to retire last year, but just toughed it out and sat out another year due to injury like 2017. He would have had last year off to heal, and then possibly this year, too. Then come back fully healthy and ready to go in 2021...
  23. "Pancake robot. Come and get 'em while they're hot."
  24. + OT Marcus Cannon and S Patrick Chung (Are the Pats tanking for Lawrence?)
  25. Please provide proof to support this opinion. BOTH teams that made it to the SB last year (Chiefs and 49ers) ran a similar D where they are rushing 4 and dropping 7 in a base 4-3 while playing mostly nickel. (while the 49ers absolutely embarrassed the Packers 3-4 defense in the NFCCG...) And those two defenses had similar players in Buckner and Jones at the 3-tech to make it work. And now the Colts have Buckner at the 3-tech to make it work. As well as rangy lengthy LBs in Leonard and Okereke on cleanup duty. With Moore as one of the best slot corners in the nickel.
