Anthony Richardson is going to be a PROBLEM for the rest of the NFL

Anthony Richardson is going to do a million little things that none of us will ever know about or fully appreciate. And that’s why he’s our guy.

THEN… he went to the end of the bench after a turnover to console the guy that fumbled. He didn’t need to do that. That guy probably won’t even be on the team next year, but Richardson had his back game 1. When people talked about the “intangibles” when it came to Manning vs Leaf, these are the intangibles they meant.

I just watched Anthony score his first NFL touchdown, celebrate with his guys, and head toward the sideline. He was almost to the bench, gassed and ready to sit down, then you could tell he turned and went up and down the sideline thanking the guys that got him in the end zone. That wasn’t coaching or a professional obligation. That was character.

I hate that it took a weird tweet from Irsay for us to get to this point, but this is yet another brick in the foundation for why one day we will all recognize that Peyton Manning is the greatest to ever play the position of Quarterback in NFL history. Not the best athlete to ever play QB, not the smartest person to ever play QB, not the most successful as far as team accomplishments to ever play QB, not even the luck of being halfway handsome... and YET... what Peyton Manning willed into existence here in Indy is nothing short of miraculous. We used to sing "Lord help our Colts" along with the radio, and by golly he did. He helped us by giving us Peyton freakin Manning. Despite the ownership, despite the coaching, despite the surrounding cast, and despite everything else that made Indy an underdog compared to all the other bigger markets... Peyton literally willed into existence the dream of every Colts fan in 2006. And Manning put it ALL on his shoulders from day 1. This was expected of him. Not only did he not disappoint, but he exceeded expectations, and did it in a way that would make all our moms proud. No other QB in NFL history could have, much less would have done what Peyton did for the Indianapolis Colts. Ask Elway. He opted for the "better situation". Peyton didn't just create a "better situation" here in Indy, he created an ideal situation for the community to support. How many other NFL QBs, much less people on this earth, have both a statue and a children's hospital named after them in the same city?!? He was the perfect role model and humble superstar that somehow adopted us as his home. He was like a dream of a football-version of a Larry Bird/Reggie Miller hybrid that was going to actually take us to the promised land... and he DID IT!! Peyton is GOAT. I personally cannot be convinced otherwise.

This is such an awful take, and you know it. No position in the NFL is being "dumbed down". Every position is just being filled with more and more athletic people that are just as "not dumb" as their predecessors.

Just now became aware of it, but I don’t like the trade. And I’m sorry I haven’t stayed up to date on everything in this league, but this is my only league that is through ESPN… not a fan of their app or site, just not as user-friendly as my other leagues on the NFL app and site.

Ok, I believe I have successfully transferred Commissioner Role to @PuntersArePeopleToo (I hope, ) Just to double-check, @w87r is Perceived Perception right? So once Perceived Perception and Luck O' The Irish are removed from the league, that should open up 2 spots for any newcomers. I believe @lewcards was first to express interest, so maybe PM @PuntersArePeopleToo with an email so they can send an invite. Good Luck this year ya'll!

We’re approaching draft season, so if there are no objections, I’m going to turn the Commissioner role over to @PuntersArePeopleToo so they can boot me and w87r from the league and get the ball rollin for this season.

Right now it’s a pretty standard setup, but that’s stuff everyone can discuss and decide on once everyone is in. Nothing set in stone at the moment.
