  1. Making me hungry for some McCormick seasoned French Fries on our OL.
  2. Colts trade R1P15 back with Rams R1P19 and get LAR R3P83 – Rams have 12 draft picks Colts then trade back again with GB R1P25 and get R3P88 and R6P216c who have 11 draft picks Colts trade R3P88 via GB with SF for R3P98c and get R4P132 Colts trade up with MIA send R6P216c via GB and R7P232 to MIA for R6P200 R1P25 via LAR-GB OL Jackson Powers-Johnson – 2025 replaces Ryan Kelly and should win RG starting job in 2024 R2P46 WLB Edgerrin Cooper – E.J. Speed is a 2025 FA - hope Cooper is the new "Maniac" version of Leonard R3P82 RB Isaac Guerendo – replaces Zack Moss, solid tackle breaker with great hands – bonus ST R3P83 via LAR SWR Malik Washington – Josh Down clone and should be a solid backup R3P94 via SF CB Khyree Jackson – solid zone cover CB R4P118 TE Ben Sinnott – MAC replacement R4P132 via SF OL Mason McCormick – solid LG who may earn 2025 RG spot when JPJ moves to center R5P150 QB Jordan Travis (Florida St) – future QB2/3 with mobility like AR - Sam Ehlinger replacement R6P193 OC Tanor Bortolini – replaces Danny Pinter R6P200 WR-X Ryan Flournoy – outstanding combine should be a solid backup to MPJ
  3. We know the Colts love to run the ball and have a solid OL that we can actually do that with JT. NFL is an RB by committee and the Colts will need assurance if anything happens to JT. Moss was that guy, and the league has clearly devalued RBs. Look at the Titans they drafted Spears in Round 3 to compliment Henry and appears to be the new RB1 in Tennessee. I would like to see something very similar for the Colts with either Guerendo or Laube. A back capable of RB1-2 status knowing that we can continue our ground and pound game with a high level of confidence.
  4. The Rams appear to have 12 draft picks. See the Colts trading back in Round 1 with the Rams R1P19 and get LAR R3P83
  5. Only thing about Bortolini is his short arms (20% tile) and span (42% tile) but the rest of his timed measurements were ALL excellent for sure. Figured like Kelly we would at a minimum prefer an OL with 33" arms. Although Pinter measured 31 7/8" arms. Bortolini. With Pinter being a free agent now could see the potential to add Bortolini instead in Round 5-6. Dallas Turner is a SLB something the Colts don't really use much of is the only reason I don't have Turner on my draft board. Too high of a premium draft pick for a position devalued by the Colts. Not sold on Fiske either. Don't see his athleticism translating to the NFL or to the Colts system. Simply not a fan or buying into the hype.
  6. I also wondered if this was a possibility. With NIL deals we know these young athletes are getting paid and surely would make up what they would lose being draft later. If your MPJ know the fanbase has been wanting MHJ which might be the reason MPJ hasn't signed a long-term deal.
  7. Moss done well with the Colts for sure but can see him test the market and not come back. The Bills released Hines and wouldn't mind adding him back wearing multiple hats as an option SWR/RB/return specialist. Hines as we know can catch and to me would be an excellent backup option behind Downs. Obviously, a draft risk if we do let Moss go, in Round 3, I would consider drafting either RB Isaac Guerendo (Louisville) or Dylan Laube (New Hampshire). Like Hines, both have great hands and can function as return specialist while serving as RB2-3.
  8. Brown’s David Njoku is another trade option for the Colts, which the Browns might strongly consider especially looking ahead to 2026 and 24M cap hit if he remains a Brown. However, if the Browns trade away Njoku the Browns are off the hook in 2026. Njoku definitely be an upgrade over what we have now in-house and still fairly young but mostly experienced compared to the rooks.
  9. Steelers cut SS Keanu Neal – Expect to sign SS Tyler Nubin in R1P20?
  10. The Colts miss out on drafting Brock Bowers. Colts make a trade with the Browns for David Njoku sending our R3P82 to Cleveland for Njoku and their R6P208. Njoku will cost the Browns 24M as a cap hit if he is still on the roster in 2026 but that would be erased if traded or cut prior. Colts trade back in R2 with the Bills for their R2P plus R3P99 and R6P198.
  11. Wilson was atop my draft board but after seeing his arm measurements have removed him which is a shame because the rest of his measurements are solid. Do agree the Colts need a SS/LB hybrid. Not sure anybody in this draft class has that ability that matches the Colts at this time. Haven't been able to find one and Chinn, know he is a local and Colt fan probably growing up, but am still on the fence with him as an overall player. Really am waiting on next year's drat class and want to target Sebastian Castro (Iowa). Castro would be ideal in the hybrid LB/SAF role which is what Iowa uses a 4-2-5 base defense in the Cash spot.
  12. Going to run with it but yes like to see the Colts add another Edgerrin in R2. E.J. Speed will be a free agent next season. Not to mentioned Speed turns 30. Cooper is one of my top 3 picks at P46 and helps fill a future void heading into 2025 offseason.
  13. Nabers at 4 seems more realistic. We tagged Pittman and no guarantee he will resign next year. Question remaining cap space for 2025 depending on how aggressive we are this offseason plus got Paye/Dayo to figure out going forward. Assuming if we did move up to 4 we expect to make the playoffs and give up next years RD1. Would Bowers or Nabers be that difference maker? Guess can take Bowers and hope to draft Pearsall in RD2 which I do like. Already dreaming of draft day and still the anticipation of free agency coming first. 2025 top draft class in R1 has got some players do want badly so not sure like to give up. Edge Jack Sawyer or Ohio State teammate JT Tuimoloau would be tempting but really want Florida’s Princely Umanmielen. Starting to see a Florida pattern emerge. Linebacker Harold Perkins (LSU) fill a void along with Cincinnati’s NT Dontay Corleon.
  14. @Defjamz26 you copying my draft board? Great minds and looks good. Check out CB Ryan Watts (Texas) - impressive measurables that the Colts like 34 1/2” arms, 82 1/8” wingspan, 40.5” vertical, broad 125, 3-cone 6.82. Solid tackler needs to improve coverage skills. As a late option has that up and down game to game potential. Got to love his measurements and am wondering if has a future in nickel as future option for Kenny. Truely is my biggest knock on Wilson and does seem to go against the mold of a Colt. Cedric Gray is completely off my board, guy can’t open-field tackle. Safeties am looking at free agency not the draft but do like Jaylin Simspon depth behind Xavier McKinney and pairing Cross with other the New Yorker Jordan Whitehead. Coach Partridge was brought in might as well try to being in some of the players who played at Pittsburgh during same time period. Dane Jackson as LCB is another cross-over with Partridge. With Simpson has the chance to learn from one of the better FS in the league and hopefully take over on the backend of the contract.
  15. I know JPJ isn't most people's choice, but recent sports articles are saying some teams have JPJ as a top-15 player in this class. Do wonder if that included the Colts? The 2024 offensive line class is arguably the strongest of this decade. We could see a record number of offensive lineman drafted in Round 1 and a break the record of 50+ players drafted beating the mark of 49 in 2022. JPJ can play RG this year and move to center the following season, which is same sentiment have been reading applying to other teams. Ideal Free Agent Targets are: QB Tyler Huntley (Ravens) WR-Z Quez Watkins (Eagles) Watkins had his best season under Shane Steichen LCB Dane Jackson (Bills) - ties new DL coach Charlie Partridge at Pittsburgh SS Jordan Whitehead (NY Jets) - ties to new DL coach Charlie Partridge at Pittsburgh FS Xavier McKinney (NY Giants) RDT Tim Settle (Bills) LDT Maurice Hurst (Browns) No added linebackers might not be a problem with the projected UDFAs LB Dallas Gant (Toledo) – excellent span 79 7/8”, great 4.58s-forty, good arm length 33 3/8” and hands 10 1/8 LB JJ Weaver (Kentucky) LB Richard Jibunor (Troy) LB Cody Simon (Ohio St)
  16. I did pick up a team or two late last year and enjoyed the opportunity. With my work schedule am unable to be available when this takes place. Keep my options open again and help if time frees up but no guarantees.
  17. Always tinkering with the draft board lol 1) OC Jackson Powers-Johnson (Oregon) 2) WR Ricky Pearsall (Florida) - As much as I like MLB Wilson just has small arms and hands and rather have WLB Edgerrin Cooper (Texas A&M) 3) RB Isaac Guerendo (Louisville) - forgot to add my weekend Combine notes to my work computer. Guerendo moved up my list as the top RB and has excellent hands - ST returner? 4) LG Mason McCormick (S Dakota St) - Lack of quality starter depth behind Nelson has always scared me and McCormick has the tools to be a starter and has the chance to replace Nelson at the end of 2026. Possible RG option in 2025 project Powers-Johnson to move to Center? 5) FS Jaylin Simpson (Auburn) - been on/off with Simpson in my mocks and after the Combine Simpson proved to me once again that he has the measurements and skillset we are looking for. 6) WR-X Ryan Flournoy (SE Missouri St) - very impressed with his combine performance and measurables that matched his college production 7) CB Ryan Watts (Texas) - impressive measurables that the Colts like 34 1/2” arms, 82 1/8” wingspan, 40.5” vertical, broad 125, 3-cone 6.82. Solid tackler needs to improve coverage skills.
  18. Clearly TE Tip Reiman and OL Mason McCormick stood out to a lot of people. Unfortunately, I was busy Sunday (day of rest) and didn't see any of the OL performances. Does look like I called it about McCormick. Now need to see where he gets drafted. Post-Combine Draft looking like this right now: 1) OC Jackson Powers-Johnson (Oregon) - Kelly on final year of his contract and proven experience at RG 2) MLB Payton Wilson (UNC) - Franklin is a FA next season and Colts need an upgrade 3) NCB Kirs Abrams-Draine (Missouri) - Kenny's replacement 1-2 years 4) RB Dylan Laube (New Hampshire) - ST returner 5) WR-X Ryan Flournoy (SE Missouri St) - Impressed me at the Combine reminds me of Dontayvion Wicks (Packers) 6) DT-3T Fabian Lovett (Florida St) - reminds me of Karl Brooks that was drafted in Round 6 (Packers) 7) TE Tip Reiman (Illinois) - kids could move a sled
  19. Solid posted the links on Page 2 of this draft thread below There are a few I switch between: PFN draft simulator PFF draft simulator NFLdraftbuzz simulator - one with trades
  20. Honestly am not sold on the hype either. And Bjoern comp might be closer to the truth. Kind of has a tweener feel where don’t fit Stewart’s role and not sure capable of Buckner’s backup. Buckner kind of want to lock down long-term like a Calias Campbell.
  21. Marcellas Dial looks like a future nickel cornberback. Running backs give me either Indiana’s own Isaac Guerendo or Laube. Both have great hands for returning kicks. Offensively got to like JPJ. Kiran Amegadjie and Mason McCormick like to see how they test. Free Agency hopefully we can address our FS. Are some decent linebackers do like but too many players not enough draft capital.
  22. Ricky Pearsall might be what we want on Day 2 and focus on other positions of need on Day 1. Day 2-3 got to like Malik Washington as a backup in the slot. Both Flournoy and Means look like solid backups and was impressed by their combine performances.
  23. Remind everyone what kind of career Ross had. Curious if Worthy’s speed translates well for the NFL. Hoping to see him compete in the other on field drills see if speed and hands actually work in unison.
  24. Think am more interested in Day 3 receivers. Besides Flourney, WR Bub Means is another player showing late promise. Flourney might get drafted while see Means as an UDFA currently. Want to see how both do in remaining drills.
  25. WR Ryan Flourney looks like an interesting Day 3 prospect
