  1. If I were the GM I would take Fromm in the 2nd if he is still available and bring in Mariota on an incentive laden deal. Let Fromm learn and grow without the pressure of starting. Have Jacoby and Mariota fight for QB1. Mariota was deadly accurate in college and has the athleticism to be a real threat on the ground. I think Reich could get the most out of him.

  2. Hurts is gonna give you everything he’s got and is definitely a leader and team player. If Frank and Ballard believe they can help him get to the next level as a passer I would have no objection to taking him in the 2nd Round. He has tremendous upside and passion for the game and has the character and leadership qualities Ballard preaches about incessantly.

On that note I read an article about Justin Herbert.  I don't know much about him but it sounds like he has a lot of academic interests and seemed to indicate that he might be a risk to bow out of the NFL early because of them.

I need to watch Herbert. I literally haven’t seen a single Oregon game in years. He definitely has the size and leadership you like to see though.

  4. Jacoby Brissett is a great teammate and I am very thankful he is a Colt. This season should tell us what we can expect from him moving forward. I’m hopeful he will succeed and lead this team deep into the playoffs.

That being said, this draft class is very interesting. Tua and Fromm have shown they’re elite and will go early. But there are so many QBs with huge upside also available. Eason, Milton, and Bentley can all play but have their issues.

Personally I’d be willing to give up quite a bit to get Tua. He’s incredibly talented and behind a good OL and with our QB friendly offense I think he would tear it up.

Milton is someone I hope we draft regardless of Jacobys play. He’s a TD machine and a winner. If he can recover from his gruesome injury he could be a steal. (There’s no guarantee that he enters the draft or is health). IMO he’s a wildcard worth taking a shot on.

    What are your thoughts?

  5. Jackson has a quite a bit to learn before he is ready to be an NFL Quarterback but I really like the guy. He's shown steady improvement throwing the ball in each season at Louisville and I think he has underrated arm talent. I think he'll be a successful QB.

Josh Rosen will be the best out of all the QBs in this draft though.
