  1. Honestly the Chiefs should seriously keep him if they truly want to get that elusive three-peat. Sneed completely shut down Hill in the post season. He basically takes away half the field each game.
  2. Yeah. That’s why my post wasn’t an overreaction “angry style” post. More just wishful thinking. I’m very much paying attention to free agency with other teams though as it will have an impact and implications of the draft. Teams I thought might be in the works for a QB now might be looking at other positions.
  3. Which honestly is pretty standard for Chris. Wait for the market to settle and then wheel and deal. Been his strategy for years, so I wasn’t shocked.
  4. I kind of wish we were able to figure out Pittman, Grover and Lewis before today so we could focus more on other players. Oh well.
  5. I was thinking the same thing. Skip Darnold and get Ryan instead to cover this year while the rookie learns.
  6. There it is! That moment goes through my mind at least once a week at my school hahaha!
  7. I agree with that. I also know that all 32 teams have people on staff who do nothing but think about numbers. My statement was that there's often a way to work with those numbers against the cap if a GM and their staff truly want a player and are committed to getting or keeping them. The Chiefs with paying Mahomes and now Chris Jones being an example. If they really want to pay some serious money, they could also do the same thing with Snead.
  8. "There's always money in the banana stand". If we want to pay a player, we basically can.
  9. Glad he’s staying. Good for Michael, good for AR, and good for the team.
  10. I saw that. Huge blow to the team. Like I said before, something always happens to this team…
  11. Update: @NFLfan Votto is coming home to Toronto: https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2024/03/blue-jays-agree-to-minor-league-deal-with-joey-votto.html Good for him, I hope he gets called up to play at least once for his family!
  12. Agreed. I fully expect us to be quiet day one of free agency. He has outright stated he does not like to overpay for players during this part of the league year. He’ll wait to see how the market sets itself and then work from there.
  13. It's weird for me. I really liked Russ in his Seattle days, and even felt that the woes of the Broncos was more on the leadership and GM than anything else. But despite all of that, I am not convinced he is what Indianapolis needs at this time. I'd rather us work on defense in FA and maybe even bring Gardner back. Though it would be really funny if we got Russ on a minimum deal while Denver basically pays him to play for us haha...
  14. As a fan, yes I would love to have him back in Cincy where he belongs. I already miss him and it's obvious he doesn't want to stop playing yet. But I also understand why the Reds moved on. The Cardinals struggled last season because they decided to roll with older fan favorite vets. While it was fun, it also meant the team was kind of being held back. It's the same with the Reds. With him off the roster it's forcing the young pups to play significant roles. We could be developing a decent pipeline where we draft well, develop the player and then trade them to a more financial powerhouse, thus resetting the cycle. That said, an injury is going to happen at some point. It always does. And a desperate playoff hopeful team will pick him up.
  15. Personally, no... No I would not. Wilson is going to be looking to be a starter somewhere for day 1. Steelers make sense in that regard. It'll be interesting to see if any team bites to get him and thus taking the draft approach off the table.
  16. Confirmed. There’s no news of the Colts signing him. Doesn’t mean we aren’t trying of course.
  17. Brian is who I want. I’d like us to address defense in free agency and then go hard on offense in the draft.
  18. 5 QBs get taken in the top 20 overall picks.
  19. Agreed. Since the Colts waited it feels like they had intuition that the charges would possibly be dropped. Good for him and the Colts, I’m ready for the team to continue moving forward into next season. Get him back on the field and hopefully with an excellent draft we’ll have another powerful offense this season.
  20. Just three weeks until opening day. Really hoping for a good year from the Reds and that everyone can stay healthy!
  21. I’ll take the Bengals again. I should hopefully be available! Works been nuts lately!
  22. Yep. Was straight up even with Taylor’s situation last year. You can say Chris is many things but a liar is not one of them.
  23. I would think so since you’re the rep of our county hahaha…
