  1. I'd say resigning the original players was always going to be the main plan. Chris even said it during the combine.
  2. I think a lot of Dallas dislike comes from over-saturation, where we see Dallas brought up on all sports media channels over and over again regardless if they’re serious contenders. Not to mention having to see them on prime tv at least 5-6 times a season… it kind of gets old…
  3. Yep. And he was a QB for Cincinnati for Peyton’s rookie season. 14 seasons total, not too shabby!
  4. Basically none of the top QBs accepted invites either due to injury or just not being interested.
  5. Sure was. To make matters worse for me personally? I’ve been in person for each playoff loss the Colts and Bengals have suffered to the Steelers. 2015 was the final straw in Cincy. I no longer attend any Steelers playoff games lol…
  6. Yep. We were fire that year all the way until that last play.
  7. Jim Harbaugh and Ted nearly had us in the Super Bowl. We lost a last minute heartbreaker to them…
  8. Think of it like being with people in person. Conversation naturally flows in and out of topics generally. You may strike up a conversation with someone about the Colts, but then after a few minutes you talk about something else that usually is relevant to the original topic but a bit different.
  9. Absolutely. In my book, they’re second to none in terms of being reticent during this process.
  10. Man, I was not ready for such a powerful compliment! Truly, that means a lot and I thank you. You know how I feel about you and a lot of other posters on here. You guys are the reason I keep coming back!
  11. There would be if we had any dang news! Come on Colts, Chloe needs to post something tonight!
  12. Absolutely. How about this one: They’ve only had 14 losing seasons TOTAL since 1964. They’ve only had 3 losing seasons my entire lifetime so far, the last ones being 2003.
  13. @Nadineis another one. To make it clear: I respect the hell out of the franchise. It’s the fact that some of the most heartbreaking losses in my lifetime between being a Colts and Bengals fan have come at the hands of Pittsburgh. And their fan base… is not very classy from my personal experience.
  14. Same! As a former running back, shotgun formation just sucks. It’s much more difficult to get up to speed. So the more effective backs in that scenario are ones who can take off immediately. I was not one of those types… I needed a few steps to get going and it also gave me a small moment to see what the defense was doing and find the right hole to punch through. With shotgun there’s less time and in general it always felt like the blockers were backpedaling instead of pushing forwards.
  15. I actually have them above the Patriots, but that’s due to my Cincinnati proximity.
  16. I hope it fails miserably for the Steelers, but I’m biased and evil like that.
  17. I’m taking a stab at this without looking and as a geography teacher I sure hope I’m right: The flattest state is Florida. And Delaware is in the top 5.
  18. Thats my bad. I’m probably over hyping too much. I’m also still thinking Sneed ends up running it back with Kansas City.
  19. He faced the gambit in the playoffs on route to another Super Bowl win, and dominated all of the receivers he faced. And he faced basically all of the top receivers in the league and bested them each time.
  20. Brown County is like a small version of the Great Smoky Mountains. I only live about 50 minutes away so I take the family multiple times a year. They even have a small village like Gatlinburg, it's called Little Nashville. Very cool artisan community.
