  1. Not really that much more when you think about it. Titans wasted Henry’s career, blew a 1st seed in the playoffs. Texans consistently murdered in the wild card or divisional round. Jags repeatedly shooting themselves in the foot despite first round picks and major free agent spending…
  2. Honestly the entire AFC South has accomplished nothing but wasting player careers and talent.
  3. I used to hate the concept of trading up. But if it works, it pays off big. And truthfully, it doesn't seem to set franchises back as badly as one would think.
  4. Yep, that's essentially what they're talking about. Half time goes by so quickly, and a lot of the time they're trying to eat and take a breather before running back out again.
  5. I'm in Franklin County. It's probably about as rugged and hilly as I'll be able to get. Tried convincing my wife years ago to move out west, but with a little family now we're happy to be close to family. Now if I can just convince my kids to move out there, maybe that'll be enough motivation for us to move as well LOL.
  6. Best Players Still Available: Gilmore - CB Clowney - EDGE Blackmon - S Simmons - S Campbell - DE Williams - OL Nelson - CB Fulton - CB Jackson - CB Beckham Jr - WR Dobbins - RB Boyd - WR Jones - OT Hyde - S https://www.nfl.com/news/top-101-nfl-free-agents-of-2024-who-are-the-best-players-available
  7. Love it! Yes mountains are my favorite geographical feature as well.
  8. Would you agree that in order for a team to persistent / perennial contenders they need at the very least a franchise QB on offense with a franchise EDGE on defense? I'm really hoping we take a look at defensive ends for this draft...
  9. I believe they were even throwing around the comparisons of him being "Peyton-like" in the building. They were obviously hoping to achieve something similar to what Denver did by picking up the aging vet who needs one last shot to prove the doubters wrong. It just didn't work out.
  10. Another angle to consider: what were Irsay's thoughts on Baker? He definitely has shown that when it comes to the QB question, he's fully involved in the decision making process.
  11. It really feels like the ultimate universal answer for anything in life is to achieve balance. Even for managing a team.
  12. I fully admit I was on the Mayfield nonbeliever train... I was also expecting Ryan to at least be somewhat capable with the offense, but the line did him 0 favors and his arm essentially stuck the fork in.
  13. We read it a lot on here before, during and after a Colts game. It shows up in game-time threads, and even I have talked about them: Making halftime adjustments. Are they a myth? See what the coaches and players have to say!
  14. Correct. Rookie corners need a couple of seasons before they often "click". That's why I feel this team, from Irsay to Ballard to Steichen all view this year as Year One with Anthony. The plan is to be competitive and develop the kid. Really feels like 2025 is the main event year.
  15. 3 total seasons in my book honestly. Although our timelines don’t really matter. It’s really up to Irsay on how long he wants to wait. And who really knows what he’s thinking at the moment. I’d imagine he’d like for us to at least be competitive similar to last year.
  16. I don't believe that narrative. If that were true the Colts would've told Adam to NOT leak out Luck's retirement.
  17. Agreed. Chris has always maintained his position of waiting until after the initial feeding frenzy before going on the attack. I'm not saying I always agree with this approach, but it's just how he always plays it and will continue to play it.
