  1. Just cuz they’re hometown sharing besties don’t mean they play nice on draft day 😬
  2. I could actually see Los Angeles taking him if he’s available at that point. Herbert needs depth at o-line badly.
  3. Yes! At least see it once honestly. I couldn’t believe how big it was in person. From pictures it looks like a tiny dot in the sky, but it’s much, much more prominent. Same with the corona around it!
  4. Irsay seemed to have had his mind made up about Wentz at some point in that season, so yeah I can see this being the case. Boy it would've been super unpopular though had we made the playoffs and then dumped off Wentz.
  5. Yep. Not to mention it was Zac Taylor calling the plays during the games. So that will be a new experience for Brian if he so chooses to call plays.
  6. Makes sense honestly. I would imagine you would also have moments with a lead in fantasy only to realize there was plenty of time for the opponent to catch up. I’ve never dabbled any further than football for fantasy stuff personally.
  7. The new coach also has to tie it all together. I still think it was a mistake to let Vrabel go, as he often got a lot out of his players. Callahan is a good coach, and was great with Cincy and Burrow. But that doesn’t always translate to being a good head coach.
  8. Understandable and I think the game has been changed to adapt to that. I just think for actually physically going to the game, I already made a commitment of my time to watch the game, so I never really minded or noticed the game feeling “long” per se. Then again for my family going to the games was already about the experience, enjoying each others company, laughing and chatting with other fans, and yes drinking some overpriced beers lol…
  9. I would take it you’re not a fan of the new pitching clock rule. I’m not a fan either but my family comes from a line of pitchers. Maybe I’m weird but I never minded the low scoring games of baseball. Each inning felt very meaningful and the strategies were much different.
  10. So is that because you enjoy more of watching various strategies on the field? Like seeing certain matchups play out during the game? I can see those things disintegrating during off script plays.
  11. That’s interesting. You definitely stick to your style, so respect for that. Seems like a lot of fans this day and age like that kind of “backyard football” style play. I hope Chicago fans are prepping themselves for it, because that’s what Williams will be bringing.
  12. I can understand your frustrations. It’s been years… years since winning the division, years since winning an opening season game. Years since beating Jacksonville in their place. It does get old and tiresome.
  13. Kind of Carson Wentz-like.
  14. Who would you list as your top QB prospect for this draft? Daniels certainly wowed a lot of people this year, but he was also doing a lot of pitch and catch plays with superstar talented WRs. Maye had down year due to the decrease in surrounding talent… I feel like Daniels might be the true top QB, but this is a very hard class to read.
  15. Reds fell to the Mets yesterday. De La Cruz seems to be struggling with seeing pitches. Opening up against the Brewers today. We could really help ourselves and the rest of the division by winning the series. Cubs are looking real good!
  16. Understandable. I’m starting to get less and less invested in a way with sports. I’m diving more into things I can personally control, mainly my family and music. These kids grow too fast, I feel like I blink and I miss something! I’ll still follow Colts, Reds and Bengals stuff. But it’s getting to the point I don’t feel much after losses.
  17. My point is I just enjoy each game as it is. Whether it’s a dominate win, or one by luck. A win is a win for me. I’m entertained more easily than you are I guess.
  18. You and I don’t see life the same way. I guess I’m just a simpleton. I like to enjoy life as it comes, take in each day appreciate it.
  19. For me, the very first Peyton vs. Andrew game at Lucas Oil was absolute perfection of a game. High emotions, fans all coming together to thank their hero, feeling the electricity when we all realized our fledgling team was able to hang with the Super Bowl contenders. Luck dodging and throwing perfect strikes… Pat laying the hammer on Holliday! All on a Sunday Night Football game where all of America was watching. We were one hell of a team that night. And shouting while Peyton was at bat was just surreal. We were so trained to be quiet while he went to work lol…
  20. Not to me. Got a glimpse of AR and the potential and it was a lot better than what I was initially expecting. We beat the friggin’ Steelers AND the Patriots. Yes I know the circumstances, but as a fan it was enjoyable to win those games. Our final home game was basically a playoff game and it was rockin’ and rollin’ all the way until that final pass. The loss sucked, but the game as a whole was pretty damn fun to be a part of.
  21. This man is like single handedly willing the Reds to win games so far this season.
