I agree Cubs are better than them. I think Reds could have a bit more talent but are still very young and dealing with injuries. Pirates are going to hang around tough all season I think, which is awesome for those fans.
Reds manager David Bell held a meeting apparently after we lost to the Brewers. If we want any chance of competing for the division, it’s obvious who we have to finally slay. Against all odds, it’s the Brewers yet again who are the team to beat in the division so far.
I have this feeling that the draft is going to be wild in the picks ahead of us. With Kansas winning yet again and so many franchises desperate, I could see a trade and feeding frenzy before us. Even the top corner could be gone.
From my experience, Facebook is wide open in terms of people saying anything they want. Some really damaging and hurtful things have been said on a personal level for me, and yet after being reported the admin team did nothing.
Literally the only Facebook bans is nudity. Everything else is apparently fair game. It’s become a cess pool of disinformation and hate.
The stars are aligning! History is on their side with Ballard at the helm. He usually picks up some of these kids either in the draft or directly afterwards.
Even if the top 4 all go QB, I still see a team ahead of us picking him up. I see QBs going 4 in a row and WRs (Harrison Jr., Nabers, Odunze) going 3 in a row.
Bowers will most likely be gone too.
So we either get CB, Brian Thomas Jr, or trade back.
If others want to continue I will as well, but I may or may not be available the rest of this week due to timing for the local track and field meets. If I’m not around you can just go BPA for Cincy and the Chargers.
