  1. Depends on how well that rookie receiver does. If we were to draft a WR and it works out, most likely Pierce gets pushed down.
  2. Daniel Jeremiah has 5 QBs get taken off the board before us and having us land Bowers at 15. Jeremiah is not to sleep on, he can be very accurate with his inside information.
  3. That seems fair to me, but I'm no expert when it comes to player value. I would probably suck as a general manager because I care too much about the person instead of the position. Being a manager takes a bit of cold heartedness to let people go and to trade lives and families away.
  4. He's a hell of a player. If any team other than Cincy were to take him, I'd definitely want it to be Indy. But I think you're right, @w87r, I don't see the Bengals honoring that request just like with Higgins. The front office I imagine is telling them "go help us win a Super Bowl and then you can make as much money as you want!".
  5. It reminds me of the 2020 draft. Just so much going on and a lot of teams sick of mediocrity ready to be relevant again.
  6. I don’t think so either. He’s learned to be patient, perhaps even to a fault. It is a positive for Chris that he has Irsay to work with and bounce ideas. Jim has a lot more experience with how to run a team properly compared to a lot of other owners. The Chiefs ownership for example is simply lucky that they scored a GM, HC, QB trio of perfection. Yet the dude hawks the Lombardi as if he did all the work.
  7. Ballard trades out of the 1st round and the forum completely implodes on itself like a dying star.
  8. I would imagine in that scenario Ballard would once again have a bit of a mulligan if the situation were to go south down the road…
  9. My bold-ish prediction: Nabers gets taken before Harrison Jr.
  10. Well you don’t have to worry too much. The Irsay daughters are very involved and seem to be learning as much as possible.
  11. This is a bit believable because last year was one of the worst years for QB injuries derailing seasons. Any team that has their “guy” but is shaky at OT needs to be looking hard at this draft.
  12. It's only a stupid move if it fails. If the player succeeds then it's a genius move. Such is the way of life and judgement of the public.
  13. Cards are exactly that. I never, ever count them out. All they need is one good hot streak in the summer and they're right back into the mix. Always seems to happen in July!
  14. This is probably the strongest I've seen the Central division in my lifetime. I feel like any of these teams could beat any other team in the country on a good night.
  15. That was sort of my earlier argument some posts back. My biggest point being that having actual experience playing football or being around football itself is going to have a larger impact and receive more consideration.
  16. I think someone working in sales would have a better shot than someone who only plays Madden.
  17. The best move Chicago could do is get an OT to protect their new asset I think.
  18. Alrighty. I don’t see it happening but if it does good on him/her.
  19. I don’t like betting, but I would bet the reason those future kids end up working in the NFL has more to do with actually having experience in the sport vs. playing Madden.
  20. He was a QB in high school. He switched to WR in college… he then coached for years in Texas. He had experience playing the game.
