  1. Reds blew a 9-0 lead to lose 13-12 against the Pirates… that’s 4 straight losses.
  2. Stick a fork in the Reds season. They’re done. At least we won more than the 60 games originally predicted… still, it’s frustrating they were so close this year to making the playoffs. David Bell may be a good overall manager, but pitching was supposed to be his specialty, and since he’s taken over as skipper the pitching has been mediocre at the most crucial of times.
  3. I agree. I think the damage has been done already. There's just too much going on with the team negatively. Unless the team somehow manages to pull itself up and win the division, there will be major changes in January, perhaps even before so.
  4. It really makes me wonder about the interview process for hiring a head coach. Did he feel he was a good fit for the team? Or was he simply just wanting a job, regardless of if the GM was on the same page on roster building? I'm sure they talked on end about schemes and philosophies on how they would build the team. Why didn't the GM get the players would fit Reich's scheme? I always walk into my interviews with the mindset that I'm interviewing my bosses as much as they are interviewing me. If I don't feel the school or administration is a good fit, I politely rescind my interest and move on.
  5. Really crazy end to the season coming up. Reds having a rough time at the moment.
  6. The Bears DC just resigned. The story continues. https://www.nfl.com/news/bears-defensive-coordinator-alan-williams-resigns-from-position-with-team
  7. Yes. Andy Dalton being considered a Taysom Hill type of player now is the most ridiculous thing I've heard... Talk to any Bengals fan about that and see their reaction.
  8. There's a holy trio of leadership to blame when it comes to football: it's either the coach, the QB, or the owner.
  9. I mean, every fan base has *. Sometimes… I really don’t like people… especially those who throw things at players and performers and the losers who send death threats over a stupid game. Makes me wonder if we’re really that advanced of a society or if we’re worse, just with more technology than our ancestors.
  10. Not a dumb question. Technically yes, it helps. And it's the very reason all QBs wear red jerseys now. The position is just too important to carelessly throw them out in practice and take major hits.
  11. I just don’t want him to get even more injured…
  12. Yes. If they’re picking 1st overall again, then get Caleb Williams and pair him with a QB oriented coaching staff. Bears fans deserve so much better.
  13. He actually came out himself and said it was aggravated… then he said he was day to day…
  14. It’s early still, but it doesn’t look good for Cincinnati this season.
  15. My cousin is a sports physician assistant. I can definitely confirm this is true.
  16. Reich had Nick Foles… he was very familiar. I’d say most backups are paired with their current teams and head coaches because of familiarity. It’s a pretty tight knit community.
  17. Was that the game where he had bad food poisoning and ended up in the hospital literally right after the game ended? That guy was badass. I loved Matt.
  18. A good team-wise first half. Gotta clean up those penalties. Really sucks about Richardson, but I’m glad Minshew is on the team.
