  1. It's better than the old one. Seriously though, I like it. Plus, it ties in well for when the Browns play like dog poop.
  2. I'm not a fan of the 4th & 15. Seems too gimmicky & unfair to a team that has worked for the entire game to get a two score )or more) lead. I'll throw out this solution (I probably should have worded that better) Stop the clock after each play when under a minute left in the game. Prevents the kneel down/victory formation. Forces the team with the lead & possession to continue to play the game the way it's played for the previous 59 minutes, or in other words, keep trying for first downs. With 1 minute left, stopping the clock after each play would be 10 plays (average). It won't be much different if the trailing team has the ball, but it will be if the leading team has the ball. It would force them to get a couple of first downs or punt the ball.
  3. This season I want an entertaining, fun team to watch, that is prepared for each week and looks well coached. I don’t think that’s too much for a fan to expect. Eventually, the wins will come.
  4. The original NCIS. Watched New Orleans for a few seasons, then it got stupid, which happens often after the star starts producing. Hawaii is okay (for now), don’t like LA. We give all the crime drama shows a look. Some stick, most don’t. Favorite right now is FBI International.
  5. I just don’t need a bunch of NCIS reruns recording on ION when all I want is the current season. I’m sure once I get used to navigating recordings it won’t be a big deal. Only had it for a week, so like anything else it will take some getting used to.
  6. As a newbie to YouTube tv (from direct tv), the big negative for me is the DVR. Not being able to delete watched shows, and having all shows record instead of ”first run” only, is quite annoying.
  7. Two of us at a sports bar for 3+ hours, have a couple drinks, food, tax and tip and we’re looking at a minimum of $70. Do that for 4 games and it’s the cost of Sunday ticket ($249). At home I’m not surrounded by obnoxious fans of other teams (cough..steelers, cough, cough..patriots). Plus at home the game is on a big screen, while at the bar it is always on the smallest screen and in the corner.
  8. I'm leaving that for the next owners, or the roofers (hopefully not soon!). Heck, I still haven't taken down my Dish Network dish.
  9. I signed up for YouTube tv, bought Sunday ticket, and canceled Directv. Youtube tv will also save me $40 a month, so it’s worth it. Only reason I switched over to direct tv years ago was because of Sunday ticket, so no reason to keep it now.
  10. 1 pre season 4-5 regular season 0-3 playoff games
  11. I can see that rule on a fumble and the team in possession touched it, but chargers never possessed the punt. Interesting.
  12. It gives us a higher draft pick, but whether or not it leads us to a franchise QB, is not known.
  13. Foles throwing on the sideline. I wonder if a Chargers player ran over for him to throw to?
  14. I know a loss helps draft position, but I just can’t root for the Colts to lose. Go Colts!
  15. It's the one positive about being out of the playoff race. I can sit back and just enjoy the craziness that is the NFL.
  16. Recapping the weekend from a positive perspective: We had a team complete the greatest comeback in history (Vikings) We had the "immaculate reception" part two. (Raiders) We had a team drive to the game winning FG in a matter of seconds. (Chargers) We had a team make a miraculous late game play to win, and now have won 6 of last 7 games. (Lions) We had a team force 4 turnovers in one quarter. (Bengals) We had a team trailing 17-0, score 34 straight points. (Bengals). Recapping the weekend from a negative perspective: We had a team blow a 33-0 lead in the 2nd half. (Colts) We had a team with the most detail oriented, highest football IQ coach, make one of the dumbest plays in NFL history. (Patriots) We had a team in easy FG range to win the game, see their coach get cute and try to use up a few more seconds by running an additional play (with no timeouts, so it was going to be simply a pass out of bounds), get called for delay of game and back up the FG 5 yards. Then he double downed by running another "throw away" play, risking a holding penalty or other mishap. Didn't come back to bite them, but it easily could have. (Chargers) We had a team running a last minute drive not using all of their timeouts. Sound familiar? (Jets) We had a team QB'ed by the GOAT commit 4 turnovers in the 4th quarter. (Bucs) We had a team leading 17-0 give up 34 straight points. (Bucs)
  17. That’s a completely distorted picture. You should be looking at where the dark of his shoe is, not where the blurry white stuff is.
  18. Hey Patriots, fake punt is now the 2nd dumbest play in history! Hahaha
  19. I’ll enjoy this game today and worry about draft position tomorrow. Go Colts!
  20. Saturday, Frazier, Ryan, Taylor, OLine, defense. Pretty much everything. What a difference a week makes!
  21. This is getting more difficult every week. We're more than halfway through the season!
