Falcons were selling out against the run, granted we should of been able to do better but it didn’t make it easier when their defensive philosophy was “we are gonna make you have to beat us throwing the ball”
Selling out v the run and still collapsing the pocket. Tough combo to beat with WR #1 out and a backup QB.

feels like 2021 all over again
Eerily similar, including the next to last game being at home vs Raiders. I'll be heading to Indy for the game this week, just like I did in 2021. Hope it turns out better this time around.

JT has looked sluggish this season. Is it the mileage showing itself or the on again/off again season of sporadic games? Let's see if he can get some jump in his step for the last two games, and start next season healthy.

Steelers got manhandled by us last week and went out and destroyed the Bengals this week. We’ll be fine
Exactly why I'm not going to overreact to this loss. All these teams hovering around .500 are flawed & inconsistent, which is why they are .500 teams. Those saying the Raiders will destroy us, I ask you "which Raiders team comes to town? The one that put up 60 points or the one that got shutout the week prior?"
Which Colts team shows up is the other half of that question.

This is stupid. Risking a turnover. Just run it out.
Thought the same thing, but now I agree with Tomlin. HAHA

Nice but it’s early. We know how that can turn around.
As in last week's Steelers/Colts & Vikings/Bengals games.

If Miami & Buffalo both finish at 11-6, then Buffalo wins the division due to a head to head sweep of Miami.
That’s true, so I’m not sure why it showed Miami still winning the division. I may have input a result incorrectly.

I got the following with (8) teams finishing 11-6 or better.(including Jacksonville, so they won division)
The Colts were the 6 seed and Bengals were only 11-6 or better team left out.
***Had the link for it, but got messed up somehow.
It's all about conference record tiebreaker. If Miami & Buffalo finish at 11-6 they will have split their two games, both be 4-2 division, but Miami will have better conference record.
Assuming Browns, Bengals, Colts are also 11-6, it looks like Bills are out.

Worst thing for colts is bills and Miami both finish with 6 losses and Bills win the division. Not sure if thst puts colts out of playoffs with 6 losses but it does mean they can’t afford another loss. This scenario is very likely with bills and dolphins schedules.
I don't think it's possible for the Colts to go 11-6 and miss the playoffs. At lease, not with any of the scenarios I put into the ESPN playoff machine.

If we’re going to compare this to horse racing, can I please be put out to stud?

Mike McCarthy should've challenged the fumble
Huge mistake that would have stemmed slowed down the Bills.

My Wildcat co-worker always said Levis brought a lot of the injuries upon himself by holding on to the ball a bit more than necessary and it could be dangerous at the next level, hope he’s OKI would agree with this sentiment. Several times today he had a lot of time to throw and held the ball like he thought the line would block forever.

I’m probably one of the few Hoosiers in the state to not give a care about basketball… I kind of follow collegiate level during March madness but that’s about it.
Used to love the Pacers, but once Reggie Miller retired without a championship I was done. I knew we’d never win so I just stopped following.
I'm not in Indiana, but I don't watch anymore either. Been a long, long time since I watched more than 5 minutes of a game.

So weird. It makes no sense at all. ESPN still at 7.
Wishful thinking on part of NFL?
Just now, RollerColt said:The reason I ask, is because I constantly see our punters getting hit with no contact on the ball, and yet the refs always, and I mean always 10/10 times look away and do nothing.
Seems that way, doesn't it.

NFL is starting to remind me of NBA, where you just ignore the first half and turn the game on for the 4th quarter.

Playoff machine has Colts at 7

Why does the official nfl side have Texans at 7 and colts at 8?
I assume we lose tiebreakers if the season ended at this moment

I'm learning new words today.

He was trying to block the punt. How was that roughing the kicker?
Ah, you jest, "roughing the punter."

No contact with the ball & heavy contact on the punter.

Bucs looked good today. Mayfield was perfect.
Bucs with three wins in a row after the loss to the Colts. Falcons heading in other direction. Good timing for Colts, so no excuses to not taking care of business in Atlanta.

Let's get the Jags a loss tonight, and then it's game on! Game against Bucs won't be easy.

There will be some some help for colts as long as they beat falcons. Texans play browns next week and browns and bengals still have to play.
Plus Colts v Texans week 17, which is very possibly a win & in game for both teams.

Would have liked for Goodson to get some runs. Kid has some explosiveness to his runs.
