  1. I was at that game and I too was heartbroken to see Polian make the decision to pull the starters. (Additionally heartbroken because we got in a wreck on the drive home). Not every NFL fan can remember who won the Super Bowl every year, but 99% of fans can tell you the 1972 Dolphins were the only team to go undefeated EVER. That's one of the records that should always try to be reached.

  2. I'm actually going to give you a five star rating on this one?? Why??Because It seems like your the first one I know that actually admits tobeing just a Manning fan and not because you like just the Colts for beingthe Colts no matter who's on the team. Me myself have to admit I'm not actually a Manning fan although I'm glad he was on the team. Now!! as some know around here it was Johnny U that made me a Colts Fan and the Uniform and helmet that keeps me a Colts Fan not who's in them.So if that's the reason you liked the Colts thanks for admitting it.For me it's TILL DEATH DUE US PART!!!! COLTS FAN SINCE 1958!!SINCE 4 YEARS OLD !!!Coltsince4

Agree with you. I'd have a lot more respect for these people bashing the Colts if they'd just come out and say "I am a Peyton Manning fan." Unfortunately, it's these "fans" that give the rest of us a bad rap. I became a fan when we acquired Dickerson (I was 5) and will continue to be a fan.

  3. Fantastic post. Wish other fans would think with this logic instead of bashing our team and organization. Some of these statements "fans" are making are totally disrespectful to the rest of the Colts players. We'll just hold on tight and get ready for our rise back to greatness, even if that does mean we may have to wait a few years. I for one am excited and anxious as to what the future holds for our team!

  4. So I see my blog has gotten a lot of talk going on Facebook. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to keep Wayne and Manning for the obvious reasons, but Offensive stars seem to get more of the spotlight shed on them so fans are more aware of their contributions to the team. I am just the type of football fan that sees the team as a whole and who contributes the most in their repsective positions and just wanted to point out some things that perhaps people haven't realized with Robert Mathis. He really is a vital part of our defense and I think without him Freeney isn't as effective as usual.
